Wülfrath

Hahnenfurth/Düssel station is located in the district of Dornap, Wuppertal, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The station was opened on a new section of line connecting Mettmann Stadtwald and the Wuppertal-Vohwinkel–Essen-Überruhr railway on 13 December 2020. There was formerly a nearby station called Dornap-Hahnenfurth on the Düsseldorf-Derendorf–Dortmund Süd railway, which was opened by the Rhenish Railway Company on 15 September 1879 and closed on 23 August 1991.The station is served by line S 28 of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn, running between Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof and Kaarster See, operating every 20 or 40 minutes, alternatively, during the day.

Wülfrath-Aprath station is located in the town of Wülfrath in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Wuppertal-Vohwinkel–Essen-Überruhr line. The station was originally opened in 1847, but closed in 1964 or 1965. A station building was built in 1848, but it burnt down in 1990. Kleine Düssel is a small river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It flows into the Düssel near Gruiten.

Maria, Königin des Friedens (Mary, Queen of Peace) is a pilgrimage church and parish in Neviges, part of Velbert, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The pilgrimage dates back to 1676. Neviges was the home of a Franciscan monastery from 1675 until the end of 2019. A church dedicated to the Immaculate Conception in 1728 became too small for the growing numbers of pilgrims in the 20th century. Inspired by the Second Vatican Council, Cardinal Josef Frings of Cologne was open to a radically new church building. Gottfried Böhm designed a building in brutalist style which won the cardinal's approval. It was consecrated in 1968, and also became known as the Mariendom and Wallfahrtsdom. It is the second largest church in the Diocese of Cologne, after Cologne Cathedral. It is also the second largest church north of the Alps. The concrete structure with an irregular roof and an interior like a forum became the architect's signature building, and is regarded as one of the important "spatial creations" in 20th-century architecture.

Vohwinkel Schwebebahn station is the western terminal of the Wuppertal Schwebebahn. It contains the station, a loop for the train to turn around, the depot with a second loop, and the three-storied main works for maintenance and repair.Vohwinkel Schwebebahn is km zero of the 13.3 km long track to the eastern terminal, Oberbarmen. During the renovations that took place between 1999 and 2014, the old passenger station was torn down in 2007 and replaced.
