Sonnenbühl

Bear's Cave (German: Bärenhöhle) is a tourist cave in Sonnenbühl, Germany. It is named after the numerous cave bear skeletons found there, that likely inhabited the site 20,000 years ago. With 80,000 visitors annually, it is the most visited show cave in Swabian Jura. Bear's Cave was formed in limestone of the White Jurassic, and provided shelter for various types of prehistoric animals. The caves have also been home to a theme park, Dreamland, since 1974.The cave is made up of two parts, the Karlshöhle, discovered in 1834, and the Bärenhöhle, discovered in 1949. The first part of the cave was initially vandalised and pillaged by visitors upon its discovery, and was only reopened to the public upon the discovery of the second cave.

Melchingen is a Swabian village in the district of Zollernalbkreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is 730 m above sea level and has 895 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). Melchingen is known for its annual pottery and handicraft market, and the Theater Lindenhof, founded in 1981. Melchingen was first mentioned in 772 on the occasion of a donation to Lorsch Abbey in a document of the Lorsch Codex. In 1588 and 1598, the town held witch trials, all of which ended in executions. On January 1, 1973, Melchingen was incorporated into the city of Burladingen.

Up to now the theatre is said to be the first and only regional theatre of Germany. The theatre, its plays or its members (Playwrights, Actors) won about a dozen times several theatre awards, especially in Baden-Württemberg: For example the Friedrich-Hölderlin-Preis of the University Town Tübingen and the Ludwig-Uhland-Preis.

Lichtenstein Castle (Schloss Lichtenstein) is a privately owned Gothic Revival castle located in the Swabian Jura of southern Germany. It was designed by Carl Alexander Heideloff and its name means "shining stone" or "bright stone". The castle overlooks the Echaz valley near Honau, Reutlingen in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The modern castle was inspired by Wilhelm Hauff's 1826 novel Lichtenstein and was built in 1840–1842. The ruins of an older medieval castle are a few hundred meters away.

Pfullingen (Swabian: Pfullenga) is a town in the district of Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 3 km southeast of Reutlingen at the foot of the Swabian Alb. With its almost 20,000 inhabitants it is famous for its Handball team, which in 2006 had to file for bankruptcy, the Schönbergturm and the People mover. Pfullingen is situated in the Northern foothills of the Alb in the valley of the river Echaz. Pfullingen is surrounded by the cone-like hills Achalm and Georgenberg as well as some mountains of the Albtrauf. Pfullingen was first mentioned in a charta by Emperor Otto I in 937. It was the main settlement in the Pfullichgau. At the end of the 14th century Pfullingen lost its city privileges after having been conquered and destroyed by the forces of the Free Imperial City Reutlingen. About 1500 Pfullingen became part of Württemberg, its city privileges being restored only in 1699. Pfullingen is home to many schools, in 2013 Wilhem-Hauff-Realschule held an exchange with East Bergholt High School. The Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium, which is named by a famous German poet, held an exchange with Park Ridge High School, New Jersey.
