Sai Kung Peninsula

Uk Tau (Chinese: 屋頭) is a small village in the northern Sai Kung Peninsula, in the Tai Po District of Hong Kong's New Territories, lying along Pak Tam Road approximately halfway between Pak Tam Chung and Hoi Ha Wan. The village supports a resident population of approximately twenty people, the majority of whom are expatriates. Very little land is under cultivation. Lying, as it does, within the boundaries of Sai Kung West Country Park, Uk Tau is surrounded by dense forest, and is frequently visited by wildlife such as macaque, cobra, krait, wild pigs, porcupine, feral animals and many bird and insect species.

Wong Shek Pier (Chinese: 黃石碼頭) is a public pier on the shore of Long Harbour (赤徑海) in the north-east of Hong Kong's New Territories. It is situated in the Wong Shek (黃石) area of the Sai Kung Peninsula. Administratively it is in Tai Po District. The pier serves kai-to ferry routes to remote settlements on the peninsular and its outlying islands, such as Tap Mun (塔門), Wan Tsai (灣仔) and Chek Keng (赤徑), and provides their principal connection to the rest of Hong Kong. It was reconstructed in 2006.

Sai Kung West Country Park (Chinese: 西貢西郊野公園) is a 30 square kilometres (12 sq mi) country park on the Sai Kung Peninsula in northeast Hong Kong. Opened in 1978 the park's sights include: Wong Chuk Wan (黃竹灣) Tai Mong Tsai (大網仔) Pak Tam Chung Yung Shue O Lai Chi Chong Hoi Ha Marine Park
