Greenspring is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between the neighborhoods of Woodberry (east) and Central Park Heights (west). Its boundaries are marked by West Cold Spring Lane (north), Greenspring Avenue (east), and Springhill Avenue (south). The western edge of the neighborhood runs along Pimlico Road from West Cold Spring Lane to Park Heights Avenue, then along Park Heights Avenue to Springhill Avenue.

WERQ-FM (92.3 MHz) is a commercial radio station in Baltimore, Maryland. It features an urban contemporary radio format and is owned by Urban One of Silver Spring, Maryland, the largest broadcasting company serving African American audiences in the United States. The studios are located in Woodlawn (they were previously located at Cathy Hughes Plaza in downtown Baltimore). WERQ-FM has an effective radiated power of 37,000 watts. The transmitter is on Park Heights Avenue at Boarman Avenue in the Park Heights section of Baltimore. WERQ-FM broadcasts using HD Radio technology; the HD2 digital subchannel carries urban gospel programming from co-owned WWIN, while the HD3 subchannel simulcasts the black talk programming of WOLB.

Louisa May Alcott School, also known as "School No. 59" and "Reisterstown Road School," is a historic elementary school located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a Colonial Revival or Georgian Revival structure completed in 1910. The freestanding building rises 3 ½ to 4 levels from brick base to metal cornice. It features symmetrically designed brick and stucco bands, decorative terra cotta, and three metal cupolas atop the hipped roof.Louisa May Alcott School was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Towanda-Grantley is a neighborhood in northwest Baltimore which predominantly consists of attached residential properties which were built in the 1950s. The neighborhood is often described as part of the greater Park Heights area, and includes the West Cold Spring Metro Subway station at its northwestern edge at the intersection of West Cold Spring Lane and Wabash Avenue.

Edgecomb, also known as Parklane, is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between the neighborhoods of Cylburn (north) and Greenspring (south). Its boundaries are marked by Dupont Avenue (north), Coldspring Lane (south), Pimlico Road (west) and Greenspring Avenue (east). Central Park Heights, is located on the opposite side of Pimlico Road in the Northwest District. The neighborhood of Coldspring is located to Edgecomb's east, across Greenspring Avenue.

West Cold Spring station is a Metro SubwayLink station in Baltimore, Maryland. It is located at the intersection of Wabash Avenue and Cold Spring Lane in the Arlington neighborhood, adjacent to the Towanda-Grantley neighborhood. It is the sixth most northern and western station on the line, with approximately 300 parking spaces.The station features the sculpture "Wabash Outcrop" by Jim Sanborn. In 2021, funding was allocated for a community driven public art project, Towanda LaneScape, adjacent to West Cold Spring station.

WYPR (88.1 FM) is a public radio station serving the Baltimore, Maryland metropolitan area. Its studio is in the Charles Village neighborhood of northern Baltimore, while its transmitter is in Park Heights. The station is simulcast in the Frederick and Hagerstown area on WYPF (88.1 FM) and in the Ocean City area on WYPO (106.9 FM). WYPR is Baltimore's flagship National Public Radio member station, carrying content from NPR, American Public Media (the distribution arm of Minnesota Public Radio), Public Radio Exchange and the BBC World Service (on HD2). WYPR also provides Classical 24 on its HD3 subchannel. In addition, WYPR produces several of its own shows, including the public affairs-focused programs Midday and On The Record, the award-winning, sonic-storytelling series Out of the Blocks as well as local news coverage and special newsroom series. Starting in 2015, the Baltimore Magazine Reader's Poll has named WYPR the Best Radio Station in Baltimore three years in a row. The station also won Best Radio Show Host, and Best News Website in 2017.

Park Circle is a neighborhood in northwest Baltimore, Maryland.

Park Circle Historic District is a national historic district located at Baltimore, Maryland. The district is historically important as an example of an early suburban Jewish neighborhood. Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe began to settle in the neighborhood, moving from East Baltimore. This set the pattern for the future expansion of Baltimore's Jewish community.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Cylburn is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located between the neighborhoods of Levindale (north) and Edgecomb (south). Its boundaries are marked by Cylburn Avenue (north), Dupont Avenue (south), Pimlico Road (west) and Greenspring Avenue (east). Central Park Heights, is located on the opposite side of Pimlico Road in the Northwest area of Baltimore City. Cylburn Arboretum (old Elisha Tyson mansion and estate off Greenspring Avenue) and the neighborhood of Cold Spring are located to Cylburn's east, across Greenspring Avenue. The heavily wooded property with its historic mansion and grounds, walking trails, famous collections and gardens overlook the Jones Falls Valley with the Jones Falls Expressway (Interstate 83) further to the east.

The Rev. Harold Ridley, S.J. Intercollegiate Athletic Complex is a multi-sport facility owned and operated by Loyola University Maryland. It is located 1.5 mi (2.4 km) west of the main campus in Baltimore, Maryland, on a 71 acres (28.7 ha) parcel of land at the southwest corner of the intersection of the Jones Falls Expressway and Coldspring Lane in the Woodberry neighborhood. At a total cost of US$62 million, it was the largest capital project in Loyola's history. Named after Rev. Harold Ridley, S.J. at the request of an anonymous donor whose $5 million contribution was the most from an individual to the university, the complex consists of a 6,000-seat stadium for Loyola Greyhounds men's and women's soccer and lacrosse, an additional field for its men's rugby union club and eight courts for men's and women's tennis.

Carlin's Park was a park in Baltimore, Maryland. It was founded in 1918 by John J. Carlin. The park was noted among members of the outdoor amusement park industry for the development of profitable winter operation and activities. Carlin's Iceland hosted indoor ice skating, winter carnivals, figure skaters, and was home to the Baltimore Orioles in the Eastern Amateur Hockey League.Carlin's Park was hailed as "Clean Fun For the Entire Family", because it was a place where the entire family could be entertained. There was a roller coaster, a tea cup ride, a swing ride, and many other attractions including a large swimming pool, some circus acts, and fireworks. A common suggestion in ads of the time was to "make a date to roller skate" at Carlin's roller rink. Carlin's park also held all night dance parties with live bands. Traveling shows, including operas, would also make appearances at Carlin's Park.A series of events in the mid-1950s spelled the end of Carlin's Park. The first event was the death of owner John J. Carlin in May 1954. Next came a fire in 1956 that destroyed the ice skating arena. The final blow to Carlin's Park was being overlooked by the City of Baltimore in the awarding of the new Civic Arena.
