The course rating is 76.9 and it has a slope rating of 147. Designed by Pete Dye, ASGCA, the Pete Dye golf course opened in 1995. Tony Kowalski manages the course as the General Manager.

Lumberport is a town in Harrison County, located in northern West Virginia, United States. The population was 720 at the 2020 census. The rural town was so named on account of the extensive lumber industry conducted there in the early 20th century. With changes in the lumber industry, the number of jobs declined, leading to a loss in population after the 1950s.

Dawmont is an unincorporated community in Harrison County, West Virginia, United States. Dawmont is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of Clarksburg. Former National Football League player and University of Pittsburgh football coach Foge Fazio was born in Dawmont.The community's name is an amalgamation of Dawson Coleman and Rosemont, the former the proprietor of the Rosemont coal mine.

Arlington is an unincorporated community along the West Fork River in Harrison County, West Virginia, United States. It is located directly north of the city of Clarksburg.

Edgewood Manor is located in Clarksburg, West Virginia on the east side of US Route 19 and State Route 20 North just one-fourth of a mile off of the West Pike Street Exit off Route 50. Another much older house of the same name, Edgewood (Bunker Hill, West Virginia), where a Confederate general died in 1863, is located far to the east in another West Virginia county.

Simpson Creek Covered Bridge is located in Bridgeport, West Virginia, crossing Simpson Creek off Meadowbrook Road near the entrance to the Meadowbrook Mall. The 14.25-foot-wide (4.34 m), 75-foot-long (23 m) multiple-kingpost truss bridge was built in 1881 by Asa Hugill. The current location of the bridge is not the original location. It was washed out by a flood in July 1889 and later relocated to its current location a half-mile upstream from its original spot. The Simpson Creek and Fletcher Covered Bridges, are the only two remaining covered bridges in Harrison County, are examples of this truss design.

Meadowbrook Mall is a regional shopping mall in Bridgeport, West Virginia. It was built in late 1982 by the Cafaro Company of Youngstown, Ohio. The original architecture and engineering was done by the Keeva J. Kekst company. The mall includes five anchor stores, JCPenney, Target, Marshalls, Boscov's and a Cinemark theater. Former anchors include Elder-Beerman, Ames, Murphy's Mart, Stone & Thomas, The Bon-Ton, Sears, Montgomery Ward, and Joann. Marshalls was added in 2008. ULTA Beauty opened here in 2015. The mall has a gross leasable area of 849,206 square feet (78,894 m2) and 109 stores, classifying it as super-regional according to the International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2023, Boscov's announced that a store will open at the mall in the later part of the year, replacing the former Sears and nearby mall stores. This will be Boscov's 50th store and first location in West Virginia.
