Opryland USA

Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, formerly known as Opryland Hotel, is a hotel and convention center located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is owned by Ryman Hospitality Properties (formerly known as Gaylord Entertainment Company), and operated by Marriott International.

Wabash Cannonball was a steel roller coaster at the now-defunct Opryland USA theme park in Nashville, Tennessee. Built by Arrow Development in 1975, it was the second roller coaster added to the park following the Timber Topper. Located in the State Fair section of the park, the ride was built in an area previously occupied by the park's buffalo exhibit. In accordance to Opryland's musical theme, the ride was named after The Wabash Cannonball, an American folk song about a mythical steam locomotive. Following the Opryland's closure in 1997, Wabash Cannonball was disassembled and sold to Premier Parks. After being stored at Old Indiana Fun Park in Thorntown, Indiana for several years, the ride was scrapped in 2003.

General Jackson is a riverboat—more specifically, a showboat—based on the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee. General Jackson was named after another riverboat of the same name that was built in 1817; that boat was in turn named for Andrew Jackson. The modern boat was originally an attraction at the Opryland USA theme park. The park closed in 1997, but the boat remains in service, docking at Pennington Bend near the Opry Mills shopping center that replaced the park. In addition to Opry Mills, the dock is located near the Grand Ole Opry House and the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. The original captains were Captain E.A. Poe and Captain William Howell.

Opry Mills is a super-regional shopping mall in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The mall was owned by the Mills Corporation and Gaylord Entertainment Company until 2007, when the Mills Corporation was acquired by Simon Property Group. It opened on May 12, 2000 on the former site of Opryland Themepark. The mall is adjacent to the Grand Ole Opry House and the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. The anchor stores are Regal Cinemas, Madame Tussauds, Sun & Ski Sports, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, Bass Pro Shops, Ralph Lauren, Nike Outlet, H&M, Old Navy, Forever 21, and Dave & Buster's.

Riverwood is a privately owned historic house located in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. At 9,200 square-feet it sits on 8 acres of its original 2,500 acres. It has been a wedding and event facility since 1997.

The Metro Nashville Skatepark (also known as Concrete Wave Country or Two Rivers Skatepark) is a public concrete skatepark located in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. It occupies approximately 22,000 square feet (2,000 m²) in Two Rivers Park adjacent to Nashville's public wave pool, Wave Country. The park is open year-round from dawn until 11 pm, and allows skateboards, in-line skates, and BMX bikes.The skatepark consists of three different areas of skate terrain that range in size from small street obstacles to a 10 foot (3 m) deep bowl (combi-pool) with pool coping known as the General Jackson in honor of the General Jackson riverboat. The mid-sized flow bowl is known as the Wabash Cannonbowl in honor of the popular Wabash Cannonball rollercoaster ride at Nashville's Opryland USA theme park, which closed in 1997. The street area at the park is known as the Angle Inn, which references the angular nature of most street skating obstacles, along with a historical nod to the Angle Inn attraction at Opryland USA. The skatepark was constructed in 2004 by the Metro Nashville Parks Department at a cost of $500,000. Wally Hollyday of Wally Hollyday Skateparks was the construction manager and principal designer of the park. Mayor Bill Purcell presided over the skatepark's grand opening ceremony on July 1, 2004, along with numerous local skaters and BMXers.

The Dr. Cleo Miller House, also known as Ivy Hall, is a historic mansion in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was designed and built during 1934–1936. It is approximately 20 by 100 feet (6.1 m × 30.5 m) in plan. It was designed by Edwin A. Keeble in Tudor Revival architectural style. It was the residence of Dr. Cleo Miller, a college friend of Keeble's at Vanderbilt University.The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 25, 1995.

Stratford STEM Magnet High School (formerly Stratford Comprehensive High School) is a magnet school in Nashville, Tennessee, operated by Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. It serves approximately 600 students. In March 2012, the Metro Board of Education dropped the "Comprehensive" title from all its zoned schools to reflect the district's new emphases on smaller learning communities and thematic career academies. The school is noteworthy as MNPS's only STEM high school. The school colors are White, Gray, Black, and Orange.

McGavock High School (commonly McGavock or Big Mac) is a public high school located in Nashville, Tennessee. The high school is a Model Academy School (affiliated with the National Career Academy Coalition).In January 2014, President Barack Obama visited McGavock High School to discuss the success of the academy model.

The Stones River (properly spelled Stone's River) is a major stream of the eastern portion of Tennessee's Nashville Basin region and a tributary of the Cumberland River. It is named after explorer and longhunter Uriah Stone, who navigated the river in 1767.
