Stillwater Area High School (SAHS) is a public school located in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota, United States, and is part of the Stillwater Area Public Schools, District 834. As the oldest high school in Minnesota and the first accredited by the North Central Association (now known as AdvancED) in 1903, Stillwater Area High School claims a special sense of history.The current campus was built in 1993 thanks to a 28 million dollar bond that was approved by the citizens of District 834. The previous location is now Stillwater Middle School. (SMS). Students from both SMS and Oakland Middle School attend Stillwater Area High School. Newsweek ranked the school #326 in their "List of the 500 Top High Schools in America in 2015."Stillwater was designed by the architecture firm ATS&R. The school recently underwent a $97 million dollar renovation, involving the construction of a new 9th grade wing, a new gym and Pony Activity Center (PAC).

Lake Elmo is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 8,069 at the 2010 census.Much of the area within the city limits is still farmland, giving the city a rural appearance. Following the loss of a lawsuit against the Metropolitan Council, a regional planning authority, the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2005 ordered that Lake Elmo had to compile a plan in accordance with the Councils regional development guide. The population of Lake Elmo is developing rapidly. It is projected that by 2040, the population of the city will be over 21,000.

The airport covers 640 acres (259 ha) and has two runways. There are 74,227 takeoffs and landings annually and 194 aircraft are based at the facility. It is also home to a Civil Air Patrol squadron.

Lake Elmo is a lake in Washington County, Minnesota, in the United States. It is partially within Lake Elmo park reserve. The park also contains walking paths, camp grounds, playgrounds, and a swimming pond. The lake was named after the 1866 novel St. Elmo by Augusta Jane Evans.

Mahtomedi Senior High School is a four-year public high school located in Mahtomedi, Minnesota, United States. The school houses grades 9–12 with a total population of approximately 1,146 students. About 22% of this population are from surrounding districts due to open enrollment. The school colors are blue and gold, and the athletic teams are known as the Zephyrs. The district (district #0832) was created in 1870, and the original high school was built in 1930. In 1970 a new high school building was constructed several miles south east of the original building and this remains the current high school campus. Based on standardized test scores the State of Minnesota has awarded the school a five-star rating, the highest level that can be achieved. In 2006, Newsweek ranked the school #675 in its "List of the 1200 Top High Schools in America." The school has also made adequate yearly progress in compliance with No Child Left Behind standards. As of 2015 the school had a demographic of 91% Caucasian, 2% Black, 2% Asian, 2% Two or more races, 2% Hispanic or Latino, and 1% Native American. Finally, out of the total population, 9% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Mahtomedi competes in the Metro East Conference (formerly known as the Classic Suburban Conference), having joined that conference at its inception in 2001 soon after being a founding member of the Metro Alliance in 1997. Prior to 1997, Mahtomedi was a member of the Tri-Metro Conference. The school was awarded the title "Exemplary High Performing Schools" along with being a profiled 2015 National Blue Ribbon School.

The Henry Stussi House is a historic Gothic Revival house in Stillwater Township, Minnesota, United States, dating to the late 1870s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its local significance in the themes of architecture and commerce. It was nominated for being one of Washington County's finest rural houses, and for its association with a notable figure in the local milling industry and ice trade.

KLBB (1220 AM) is an AM radio station licensed to Stillwater, Minnesota, serving the eastern suburban Twin Cities area and western-central Wisconsin. It is locally and independently owned by Dan & Gretchen Smith. Known as “Club 12-20,” KLBB formerly played adult standards and classic hits. It was the Twin Cities affiliate of the Green Bay Packers Radio Network. Other programming included “The Wolf Brewing All Request and Dedication Show with Stan Turner,” “The Morning Show with Jeff Petersen” and was the Twin Cities flagship station for Saint Paul Saints Baseball and Stillwater Ponies Football. The studios and transmitter are located in Stillwater, Minnesota. At full power, the daytime signal area covered the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul as well as portions of western Wisconsin. The station is currently silent. KLBB carried news updates at top of hour from Fox News, Minnesota Network News, and local news from the KLBB News Desk focusing on the eastern Twin Cities area and western Wisconsin. Weather from Weatherology was also heard at the top of the hour. KLBB was also an affiliate of Westwood One's Adult Standards format, which features adult standards from artists such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Harry Connick, Jr., and Michael Bublé as well as classics from the Beatles to contemporary music from such artists as Celine Dion & Diana Krall. On weekends, KLBB aired programs such as “The Stan Turner Show,” “Flashback Twin Cities with Tom Oszman,” “The Sounds of Sinatra,” “Shake Rattle Showtime,” “Martini Mix with Mike Martin”, “Sunday Morning Worhship from St. Andrew’s; a live broadcast of worship services from St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. KLBB also included national and local features such as “The Osgood File,” “Bill Scott’s Titletown Report,” “Rudy Maxa’s Travel Minute,” “Community Calendar,” “Here’s What’s Happening in the Saint Croix Valley” and “Success Journal.” For over 25 years, incentives from local businesses were offered on “The Super Saver” show. Signing on in 1949, the 1220 AM frequency had a series of call letters including WSHB (1949 sign-on to 1955), WAVN (1955-1983), WVLE (1983-1985), WTCN (1985-1993), WIMN (1993-1/1/1997) and WEZU (1/1/1997-2003). WMGT "The Mighty 12-20" (2003-2006), KLBB (2006-2018). Noted personalities included Roger Erickson, Stan Turner, Ruth Koscielak, Ralph Jon Fritz, Bob Yates and Lee Valsvik. KLBB ceased broadcasting at 11:59 PM (CT) on March 31, 2018. The 3.6 acres of land in Stillwater on which the station's radio tower was located had been sold for residential development. The announcement of the station's demise was made a month prior on February 28. KLBB concluded its final broadcast with a message from station owner Dan Smith, followed by the Frank Sinatra song, “One for My Baby (And One More for the Road)”. The station returned to the air at the end of March 2019 before its license would have met the FCC's cancellation criteria, using a temporary antenna setup atop the station's studio building to transmit with a power of 20 watts until a permanent transmitter site is found.
