Trent Park

Southgate Hockey Club is a field hockey club based at Southgate Hockey Centre in Trent Park, near Oakwood in London.The men's 1st XI play in the Men's England Hockey League. The club has 9 men's sides, 5 ladies' sides and a large junior section.

Southgate Hockey Centre is a sports ground in Trent Park in North London, near Oakwood. The Centre is home to Southgate Hockey Club and Trent Park Running Club. Southgate Hockey Club's top men's and ladies' teams play in the England Hockey National League, and its numerous other teams cater for players from 6 to 86. The Centre hosts international tournaments during the year. The all-weather pitches are hired by numerous local football clubs and teams as their winter training facility. Nordic Walking UK hold regular courses throughout the year. It has two artificial grass pitches (one water, one sand dressed), and a grass area (which can fit three football pitches). The upper part of the building contains a bar and catering facilities, which are used for sports/social purposes, and are hired by external organisations for parties and conferences. The land is owned by Berkeley Homes, and is currently leased to Southgate Sports and Leisure Trust (SSLT). An agreement with the original landowners, Middlesex University, allowed SSLT, in 1997-98, to build the pitches and clubhouse as part of a £1.4 million project, partly funded (£626,000) by the Sports Lottery Fund.

Oakwood is a London Underground station on the Piccadilly line. It is the second most northerly station on the line, between Southgate and Cockfosters stations, and is in Travelcard Zone 5. The station is on the edge of the Oakwood area of Enfield (N14) and is situated at the junction of Bramley Road (A110) and Chase Road (the other end of Chase Road is close to Southgate Underground station). This station has step-free access after the upgrades made to the station between October and December 2007.

Southgate School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in the Oakwood area of London, England.The school is situated just east of the Cat Hill roundabout of the A111 and A110, between Cockfosters and Oakwood tube stations. The Trent Park campus of Middlesex University is nearby to the north, on the northern fringe of Greater London's conurbation. Middlesex University has its Cat Hill campus nearby to the east. Although once historically in Southgate, the school is now in the parish of St Thomas, Oakwood, on the boundary with Cockfosters to the west, and on the western edge of Enfield borough, 500 metres east of the Barnet boundary.

Christ the King (Vita et Pax) is an architecturally notable former priory of the Olivetan order in Bramley Road, Cockfosters, north London. It was founded in 1930 by Dom Constantine Bosschaerts, formerly a monk of the Belgian Province of the Cassinese Congregation of the Primitive Observance. The building is dated to 1940 and its design credited to Bosschaerts in Pevsner.Part of the building was later the Benedictine Centre for Spirituality, and is now the Cockfosters Spirituality Centre.The parish church of the Parish of Christ The King in Cockfosters occupies part of the building which was intended to form the parish hall for a larger church. Since 2014 the parish has been administered by the Chemin Neuf Community.

South Lodge was one of the three lodges in the royal hunting ground of Enfield Chase. It was originally known as the South-bailey alongside the East-bailey and the West-bailey.The lake from the former gardens of the Lodge survives at Lakeside.

Trent Park Cemetery is a cemetery run by the Islington and Camden Cemetery Services located in Cockfosters Road, Cockfosters, north London. It is adjacent to Cockfosters tube station and Trent Park.

St Thomas's Church, Oakwood is an Anglican church in the Enfield Deanery of the Diocese of London. It is located in Prince George Avenue in the Oakwood area of the London Borough of Enfield, England.

Cockfosters is a London Underground station on the Piccadilly line, for which it is the northern terminus. The station is located on Cockfosters Road (A111) approximately nine miles (14 km) from central London and serves Cockfosters. It is on the boundary of the London Borough of Barnet and the London Borough of Enfield. The station is in Travelcard Zone 5 and the next station towards Central London is Oakwood.

De Bohun Primary School (also known as De Bohun Primary School and Children's Centre and simply referred to as De Bohun School) is a 2–11 mixed, community primary school in Southgate, Greater London, England. It was established in 1936 and is a Grade II listed building.

Enfield Southgate is a constituency in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. It was created in 1950 as Southgate, and has been represented since 2017 by Bambos Charalambous, a member of the Labour Party.

The Cockfosters Water Tower is a water tower in Cockfosters Road, north London, on the edge of Trent Park, that is known for its hyperboloid structure. It is adjacent to the Cockfosters Reservoir. The tower was built in 1968 to a design by the architect Edmund C. Percey of Scherrer and Hicks, and J.W. Milne, chief engineer of the Lee Valley Water Company. It was later owned by Three Valley Water and Veolia Water and as of 2016, is owned by Affinity Water. It incorporates a supporting hyperboloid lattice of reinforced concrete and has a capacity of 1,130 m³. A number of mobile phone masts are located on the roof of the structure. Percey also designed the grade II listed Tonwell Water Tower (1964).
