Crofton Park

Blythe Hill Fields, also sometimes known as Blythe Hill is an area of elevated open land in the London Borough of Lewisham that commands panoramic views over Canary Wharf, the City, Kent and Surrey. The surrounding areas of Blythe Hill Fields involve Catford to the south and southeast, Crofton Park to the north, and Forest Hill to the north west. The land stands at an elevation of 70 metres (230 ft) – which may be one of the reasons it escaped development – and was once part of Brockley Farm. A brickworks was also formerly on part of the site and a chimney remained there until 1938. Blythe Hill House was built to the south in 1842 and its grounds covered a large part of Blythe Hill Fields until it was demolished in 1895. The land where Blythe Hill Fields now stands was bought by London County Council and opened as a public park in 1935.

Brockley and Ladywell Cemeteries (also known as Ladywell and Brockley Cemetery) were opened within one month of each other in 1858 and are sited on adjacent plots of previously open land. The two component parts are characteristic examples of the first wave of Victorian public cemeteries and are now part of the Brockley Conservation Area. The cemeteries occupy 37 acres (15 ha) of land wholly within the London Borough of Lewisham and are owned and managed by the Cemeteries and Crematorium Services of the Borough. They are also nature conservation sites of Borough Importance Grade 1 and a haven for wildlife, plants and wildflowers. Until 1948, the two cemeteries were completely separate, being divided by a wall. Ladywell Cemetery, which was previously known as Lewisham Cemetery, stands to the east of the wall and Brockley Cemetery, formerly Deptford Cemetery, lies to the west. Both cemeteries hold a wealth of historical interest. Evidence of Deptford's seafaring past can be found in the many inscriptions and adornments on the headstones.

The Rivoli Ballroom is the only intact 1950s ballroom remaining in London, England. It is famed for its original decor and interior fittings, including red velvet, flock wallpaper, chandeliers, glitter balls and oversized Chinese lanterns. The venue is often used as a film location and plays host to many dance and musical events.

The Brockley Jack Theatre (also known as the Jack Studio Theatre) is an Off West End theatre in the Crofton Park area of Lewisham, south London. It shares a building with the Brockley Jack pub. The theatre was founded by David Kincaid, Michael Bottle and Peter Rocca; Kincaid and Bottle took the leads roles in its first production, of the Chekhov pieces On the Harmful Effects of Tobacco and Swansong. It opened in 1992 and is a registered charity.The Brockley Jack Theatre's programming is a mix of established works and new writing, produced by in-house company Southside Arts and by visiting theatre companies, plus comedy and music nights and regular work-in-progress "scratch" shows. It runs workshops to support new playwrights, hosts the Brockley Jack Film Club and produces an annual festival of new plays, Write Now, supported by Lewisham Council.The theatre's artistic director is Kate Bannister. Mike Burnside was the initial artistic director and Rhys Thomas held the post from 1996 to 1999. The Brockley Jack Theatre's associate companies are OutFox and Bruce Farce; previous associate companies include The Faction Theatre Company.

Prendergast Ladywell School is a co-educational all-through school located in the Crofton Park area of the London Borough of Lewisham, England.Originally known as Crofton School, it was completely rebuilt between 2007 and 2008. In 2009 the school entered into the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers federation of schools, and was renamed Prendergast Ladywell Fields College. Other schools in the federation include Prendergast School and Prendergast Vale School. Previously a secondary school, in 2014 a primary school provision was opened on a separate site. The combined all-through school was renamed Prendergast Ladywell School. Prendergast Ladywell School also offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. The school also has a specialism in the Arts.

St Dunstan's College is a co-educational independent day school in Catford, south-east London, England. It is a registered charity, and a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference and the Independent Association of Prep School Heads. The college is made up of a junior school for 3-10 year olds, a senior school for 11-16 year olds and a sixth form for 16-18 year olds. Since its foundation in 1888, the school has been located in Catford, with many additions being made to the original Victorian building.

Catford Stadium was a historic greyhound racing stadium in Catford, a suburb of London.

The Blythe Hill Tavern is a grade II listed public house in Forest Hill, south London.

Prendergast School is a comprehensive girls' secondary school, located on Hilly Fields, Brockley, in the London Borough of Lewisham. It has an independent board of governors. The Headteacher is Paula Ledger. The school motto is from Chaucer's Prologue to The Canterbury Tales: "Trouthe and Honour, Fredom and Curteisye". (In Middle English and in this context, "fredom" is generosity, not liberty.)

Catford railway station is one of two stations serving the London suburb of Catford. Mainly used by commuters, it is in Travelcard Zone 3 and is on the Catford Loop Line, between Crofton Park and Bellingham. It is served mainly by Thameslink trains between West Hampstead Thameslink, London Blackfriars and Sevenoaks. Connections to London Victoria are available at Peckham Rye. Catford is 8 miles 3 chains (12.9 km) measured from Victoria. It is adjacent to, and on a higher level than, Catford Bridge railway station on the Mid-Kent Line. The two stations are separated by the site of the former Catford Stadium. Interchange on one ticket is allowed between the two stations. There is only a small shelter, a ticket machine, a few lamp-posts and a stairway on each of the two otherwise bare platforms, unlike the more ornate Catford Bridge station, which has retained most of its original architecture. Each platform has customer information screens.
