The West Maple Omaha Rock (nicknamed Rocko, also referred to as the west Omaha rock and similar names) is a boulder located in a parking lot at the corner of West Maple Road and North 156th Street in north-western Omaha, Nebraska, in the United States. It became the subject of significant online discourse as well as a local tourist attraction in late 2019 after over a dozen vehicle owners drove on top of it. This included at least six that had to be towed within six weeks. The rock was originally placed on a curb to prevent people from driving over it; however, it was sloped such that it was often not visible to taller automobiles and would get stuck between their wheels. A Facebook group dedicated to the rock, "The W Maple Omaha Rock", was created by employees of a nearby UPS Store and had over 25,000 followers in November 2019; a subreddit and Google Maps listing were also created.In January 2021, the rock was repositioned such that it was no longer sloped towards the road and a tree was planted near it to catch drivers' attention.

It was played annually for eighteen years at Champions Run in Omaha, Nebraska.It debuted as the "Nike Omaha Classic" in 1996, with a purse of $200,000 and a winner's share of $36,000, won by Rocky Walcher on August 11. For its 18th and final edition in 2013, the purse had quadrupled to $800,000 and Bronson La'Cassie took the winner's share of $144,000 after three playoff holes.The Web.com Tour returned to Omaha in 2017 with the Pinnacle Bank Championship, held at public Indian Creek Golf Course in July.

Standing Bear Lake, also known as Dam Site 16, is a park located at 6404 North 132nd street in West Omaha, Nebraska. The park has a 135-acre (55 ha) lake with boating in the summertime, and ice skating in the winter. The park and recreation area covers about 396 acres (160 ha) of land surrounding the lake, with a 131-acre (53 ha) wildlife area is located on the west side of the park.

First National Business Park is located at 144th & Dodge Streets, just north of Boys Town in West Omaha. CB Richard Ellis regards the park as Omaha's "most prestigious location". It was a significant part of the largest annexation in Omaha's history, which former mayor Hal Daub called for in 1999.Founded in 1997, the 80-acre (32 ha) business park is notable as one of the most desirable locations for business parks in the Midwestern United States. The Park had its last building commitment within a year of its founding. The park includes a 250,000-square-foot (23,000 m2) building finished in 1998, the Empire Fire and Marine Insurance building of 135,000 square feet (12,500 m2), a third building of 70,000-square-foot (6,500 m2) building, and a 65,000-square-foot (6,000 m2) building. Harlan Noddle, a past chairman of the University of Nebraska Foundation and a prominent Omaha businessman, was involved in building the park.It was announced on October 23, 2008 that Yahoo will be coming to the Omaha Metro Area. Yahoo stated that the First National Business Park will be the home to the customer care center that would open the following April.

Elkhorn North High School is a public high school located in Omaha, Nebraska. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12 and is one of three traditional high schools operated by Elkhorn Public Schools.

The Ackerhurst–Eipperhurst Dairy Barn is located at 15220 Military Road near Bennington, Nebraska, United States. Built in 1935 by Adolf Otte in the Gambrel (also known as Dutch Gambrel) style, the Barn was designated a "Landmark" by the City of Omaha Landmarks Heritage Preservation Commission on March 5, 2002, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places later that month. To ensure the quality of the products, owner Anthony W. Ackerman put into place a few important factors. A veterinarian was on duty at all times, the milking machinery was state of the art stainless steel, and only the highest quality of hay was given to the cows.The roof has a hay hood at each end.

Millard North High School is a high school in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Millard Public Schools district. Millard North partially opened in 1978 for 9th and 10th grade students. In 1981, the second phase of the project was completed and the school began to serve students in grades 9-12; at that time, the school's name was changed to Millard North High School. The school completed an expansion in 2007. Millard North underwent a comprehensive renovation which was finished in 2016.

The Jewish Community Center in Omaha, Nebraska was established in 1926, and moved to its present location at 333 South 132nd Street in 1973. The original JCC was the site of important labor organizing in the city, and has continued to serve as an important center for financial support in Omaha's Jewish community throughout its history. Today the JCC is the site of a Holocaust memorial that is unique in the Midwestern United States. In 2008 teams from the United States Olympic Trials practiced at the JCC before partaking in the official trials in downtown Omaha.

Harry A. Burke High School is a secondary school located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The principal is Darren Rasmussen. The school's mascot is the Bulldog. Each year in May, the Nebraska State Track Meet is held at the school. Its stadium was renovated in 2008.
