North High School (Torrance, California)

Columbia Park (formally Columbia Regional Park) is a 52-acre (21 ha) recreational urban regional park in the City of Torrance, located in southern Los Angeles County, California. Columbia Park provides the community with soccer fields, baseball diamonds, bocce ball courts, community gardening beds, walking paths, and a jogging—competitive cross country running trail. It is one of thirty parks in the Torrance Parks system.

South Bay Galleria, formerly named Galleria at South Bay, is a shopping mall located in Redondo Beach, California, United States. It is anchored by Macy's, Kohl's, Q, Wonder of Dinosaurs, and a 16-screen AMC Theatres multiplex.

Torrance Promenade, formerly Old Towne, is a shopping mall in Torrance, California, United States. The original Old Towne mall built in 1972 featured a mix of shopping, amusement and entertainment. The property was converted to a strip mall in 1989 and renamed Torrance Promenade.

The Redondo Beach Transit Center is a bus station in Redondo Beach, California. The station consists of one large island platform with 11 bus bays and a 320-space park and ride parking lot located next to the transit center. The transit center opened in early 2023, replacing a nearby bus terminal at the South Bay Galleria dating to 1987.Bus services at the Redondo Beach Transit Center are operated by Beach Cities Transit, GTrans Lawndale Beat, Los Angeles Metro Bus, and Torrance Transit.Future plans for the transit center include light rail service. The transit center is located adjacent to the Harbor Subdivision, a freight rail line which is proposed as the route of the C Line Extension. The C Line Extension is expected to be completed by 2033, and its completion may be accelerated to 2028 under the Twenty-eight by '28 infrastructure program.

Featherstone Field, previously known as Murdock Stadium is a stadium on the campus of El Camino College in Torrance, California. Built in 1958 the stadium seats around 12,127 on wood-backed bleacher seats. It was home to the North American Soccer League's Los Angeles Aztecs for two years (1975–1976), the American Soccer League's Southern California Lazers for a single season in 1978, as well as several United States men's national soccer team FIFA World Cup qualification matches. Today, it hosts El Camino College's American football team. The stadium was originally named after the founding president of the college, Forrest G. Murdock. The stadium was also used as the main stadium in the 2005 remake of the 1974 film, The Longest Yard. The 2005 film starred Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, James Cromwell and Burt Reynolds, who actually played the lead role in the original film. The original stadium was demolished and a new state of the art stadium was opened in September 2016. In 2019, El Camino College announced that they would rename the field inside Murdock Stadium after longtime football coach John Featherstone, a former coach at El Camino. The stadium is also the annual host site of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Los Angeles City Section high school football championship games.

El Camino College (Elco or ECC) is a public community college in Alondra Park, California. It consists of 37 buildings spanning an area of roughly 26 acres (11 ha). It is one of two community colleges serving Southern California's South Bay area. The El Camino Community College District was officially established on July 1, 1947. As of 2019 the college served approximately 23,000 students within the El Camino Community College District, including the communities of Alondra Park, Carson, Del Aire, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, Ladera Heights, Lawndale, Lennox, Lomita, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, View Park–Windsor Hills. El Camino College offers 2,500 classes in 85 programs, including vocational, undergraduate, and honors courses, many available in online and televised formats for distance education.

The Torrance Transit Center (officially the Mary K. Giordano Regional Transit Center) is a bus station in Torrance that serves as the city's transport hub. It opened on June 9, 2023. The station is planned to serve as the southern terminus of the Los Angeles Metro Rail C Line via a proposed extension.

Redondo Beach Unified School District is a school district with approximately 10,000 students headquartered in Redondo Beach, California. The school district consists of eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, one continuation school, and one adult school. RBUSD serves the city of Redondo Beach. In addition, residents of Hermosa Beach may choose to attend Redondo Union High School of RBUSD or the Mira Costa High School of the Manhattan Beach Unified School District.

Environmental Charter High School, abbreviated to ECHS, is a 9th through 12th grade public charter high school in Lawndale, California. It was founded in 2002. Prior to its founding, there was another high school at the same location that was named “Victory”. It was around from at least 1999–2001.

Alondra Park (), also known as El Camino Village, is a census designated place (CDP) in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is the unincorporated area north of Alondra Community Regional Park and El Camino College. It is east of Lawndale, south of Hawthorne, west of Gardena, and north of Torrance. Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard are the two major cross streets in the area. The population was 8,569 at the 2020 census, down from 8,592 at the 2010 census. There is an official Alondra Park Post Office of the U.S. Postal Service in nearby Gardena, California. Urbanized cement-lined Dominguez Creek bisects a portion of Alondra Park.

Construction of this new facility began in the fall of 2014, and is located at the corner of Texas State Highway 121 and Legacy Drive, across the street from the FedEx Office Headquarters, and the J. C. Penney World Headquarters. The former location of Toyota's headquarters was Torrance, California, where they supervised 14 regional offices. TMS oversees the sales of Toyota and Lexus products in 49 states through a network of over 1,200 Toyota dealers (of whom more than 900 also previously sold Scion vehicles) and over 200 Lexus dealers. California has the greatest number of Toyota dealerships of any other state at 172 dealerships. Toyota vehicles in Hawaii are distributed by Servco Pacific. TMS develops Toyota's television campaigns and other nationwide marketing materials, and supervises dealer marketing to ensure that dealers present a uniform image. TMS also manages regional distribution, which occurs through 12 parts centers and five vehicle centers. James E. Lentz III is the president of TMS.

Lawndale is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 32,769 at the 2010 census, up from 31,712 according to the 2000 census. The city is in the South Bay region of the Greater Los Angeles Area.
