Pohjois-Tapiola (Swedish: Norra Hagalund) is a district of the municipality of Espoo, Finland.

The Villa Elfvik nature house is an environmental education centre in Espoo, Finland, directed at all residents of Espoo. The nature house offers information about nature and the environment in all forms. Jugend style Villa Elfvik was designed by the architect Mauritz Gripenberg. The construction project finished in 1904. The villa was built to be a home for baroness Elvira Standertskjöld.Villa Elfvik is located in Laajalahti near the seashore, between the commercial centres of Tapiola and Leppävaara.

Innopoli is a large office building in the district of Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland, near the main campus of the Aalto University. Innopoli provides housing for many newly founded Information Technology companies, and some well-known, successful companies such as SSH Communications have started there. A new office building, called Innopoli 2, was constructed later near the original Innopoli building.

Sello (Finnish for cello) is a shopping mall in the Leppävaara, Espoo, Finland. The mall contains more than 170 shops and services including a concert hall and a library. The largest stores in the shopping center are Prisma, K-Citymarket, Power, Tokmanni, Halonen, H&M, and Intersport Megastore. The Sello is separated into three parts: the oldest part (finished in 2002), the second part (finished in 2005) and the newest part (finished in 2008). The oldest part of Sello has two hypermarkets, three banks, contains Espoo City's main library, a concert hall, gym, restaurants and cafes, pharmacy, an Alko and a music academy. The second part of Sello has many restaurants and smaller stores, and multiple sport stores such as Intersport and Stadium. Sello's third and newest part was designed to have a movie theater, several restaurants and a bowling alley. Sello also has a hotel named Hotel Sello, property of the Palace Kämp Group. It is served by Leppävaara bus station and Leppävaara railway station immediately to the north, with Ring I running just to the east. On 31 December 2009, five people were killed during a shooting spree in the mall.

The Sello mall shooting occurred on the morning of 31 December 2009 shortly after 10:08 local time at the Prisma hypermarket in Sello mall, located in the Leppävaara district of Espoo, Finland. Ibrahim Shkupolli, who was born in Yugoslavia but had lived in Finland for many years, shot three men and one woman who all worked at Prisma. Before the shooting, he had killed his ex-girlfriend at her home. After the shooting, Shkupolli left the mall and killed himself in his own apartment. The Sello mall, which opened in 2003, is the largest in the Nordic region with over 170 stores. On the day of the shooting the mall contained between two and three thousand customers. Witnesses described the gunman as calm when walking out of the grocery store in the mall immediately after the shooting.

Suur-Tapiola (Swedish: Stor-Hagalund, "Greater Tapiola") is a south-eastern main district of Espoo, a city in Finland. It contains the districts Haukilahti, Laajalahti, Mankkaa, Niittykumpu, Otaniemi, Pohjois-Tapiola, Tapiola and Westend.

Leppävaara (Swedish: Alberga) is a district of Espoo, a city in Finland. The Rantarata rail line and the Ring Road I, the busiest road in Finland, cross in Leppävaara, thus making it a major traffic hub in the Greater Helsinki region. The Sello Shopping Centre is also located in Leppävaara.

The Panorama Tower (previously known as Signaali Headquarters) is a high-rise building in Leppävaara, Espoo, Finland located at Hevosenkenkä 3. It is the third highest building in Espoo and the third-highest office building in Finland after the Accountor Tower and the Maamerkki building in Itäkeskus, Helsinki. The building is a three-sided office building with the sides attached to each other. Of the three sides, two have seven floors and one has seventeen floors.

EVTEK University of Applied Sciences (formerly Espoo-Vantaa Institute of Technology or Espoon-Vantaan teknillinen ammattikorkeakoulu in Finnish, abbr. EVTEK) was one of Finland's applied science polytechnics. In August 2008, EVTEK University of Applied Sciences together with Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia merged into Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.EVTEK University of Applied Sciences offered degree programs in technology, business and art & design leading to either a bachelor's or master's degree.

The Tapiola swimming pool is a swimming pool centre in the district of Tapiola in Espoo, Finland. The centre was designed by Aarne Ervi and built in 1965. The building was renovated by Arkkitehdit NRT, and the renovation was completed in the 2000s. The renovation included an extension of the centre's premises, including steam saunas, jacuzzis, and a gym. In 2008, the centre was awarded the European Union Europa Nostra award for successful renovation.

Taidepoliisi (Finnish for "arts police") (Swedish: Konstpolisen) is a statue designed by Pekka Kauhanen, located in Espoo, Finland, in the roundabout between Pohjantie and Ahertajantie. The statue directs the public to the Espoo Museum of Modern Art (Emma), located in the WeeGee house.The statue was revealed 4 October 2006, shortly before Emma's opening. It is cast from bronze and stands on a pedestal made of stainless steel. With the pedestal, the height of the statue is about five metres. It is part of the arts collection of the city of Espoo.The policeman in the statue has three arms, but only ten fingers in total. According to Kauhanen, "the rhythmic of Taidepoliisi's arms just requires three arms".

Kino Tapiola is a movie theatre in Tapiola, Espoo, Finland, founded in 1955. The theatre is one of the few original old-style movie theatres in the Helsinki capital area still remaining in its own, culturally protected state. The theatre has one auditorium, with 194 places. The theatre activity is owned by Espoon elokuvajuhlat ry.Kino Tapiola is part of the Europa Cinemas network, along with seven other Finnish movie theatres.
