Kino Tapiola is a movie theatre in Tapiola, Espoo, Finland, founded in 1955. The theatre is one of the few original old-style movie theatres in the Helsinki capital area still remaining in its own, culturally protected state. The theatre has one auditorium, with 194 places. The theatre activity is owned by Espoon elokuvajuhlat ry.Kino Tapiola is part of the Europa Cinemas network, along with seven other Finnish movie theatres.

The Hagalund manor (Finnish: Hagalundin kartano, Swedish: Hagalund gård) is a manor in Espoo, Finland located in the Tapiola and Otaniemi areas. It has been owned by the families of von Wright, von Numers, Sinebrychoff and Grahn.The history of the manor starts from the 1540s. The main building is from the early 19th century, it was built by Carl Johan von Numers. From 1857 the manor was owned by Pavel Sinebrychoff. In the 1920s it was transferred to Arne Grahn, nephew of Fanny Sinebrychoff, widow of Pavel Sinebrychoff's son Paul Sinebrychoff. In the 1950s the substantial lands of the manor were converted into a residential area, which later formed into Tapiola and part of Otaniemi. Of the buildings in the manor, the main building and three old residential and economical buildings remain in Otaniemi in connection to the campus area of Aalto University. The Tapiola riding school is located at the stables of the manor.The Hagalund manor is also connected to the history of the Otnäs manor.

The Otaniemi water tower is a structure designed by the well-known Finnish architect Alvar Aalto in 1971. The water tower is located in Otaniemi area, Espoo, Finland. The total capacity of the tower is 6000 m³. It rises to a height of 45 meters. It is Otaniemi's principal landmark, and consists of two stacked elements - the water storage tank and a free-form, five-story building constructed underneath containing the technical spaces and offices.

Aalto University School of Engineering (Finnish: Aalto-yliopiston insinööritieteiden korkeakoulu, Swedish: Aalto-universitetets högskola för ingenjörsvetenskaper) is part of Aalto University. It is one of the four new schools of technology established on 1 January 2011 from Aalto University School of Science and Technology, formerly known as Helsinki University of Technology. The four new schools continue to offer education and research that promotes advances in science and technology. The Department of Architecture was part of the School of Engineering until 2012, when it was restructured into the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.The School of Engineering teaches and researches sustainable development, global warming, energy conservation and clean energy, and the sustainable use of natural resources. In 2018, Aalto University had a World University Ranking of 140, and was ranked 9th overall in the Top 50 under 50.The School operates in the fields of applied mechanics, civil and environmental engineering, energy and HVAC technology, mechanical engineering, real estate economics, geomatics, structural engineering and building technology, and urban and regional studies.

Tapiola Church (Finnish: Tapiolan kirkko, Swedish: Hagalunds kyrka) is a Lutheran church in the Tapiola district of Espoo, Finland. The modernist concrete building was designed by architect Aarno Ruusuvuori and opened in 1965. The church seats 600 people and is thus the largest in Espoo by capacity.The church is part of the garden city of Tapiola which is internationally famous for its architecture and listed as a nationally significant built cultural heritage site by the National Board of Antiquities. Docomomo has also selected Tapiola as a significant example of modern architecture in Finland.

The Tapiola swimming pool is a swimming pool centre in the district of Tapiola in Espoo, Finland. The centre was designed by Aarne Ervi and built in 1965. The building was renovated by Arkkitehdit NRT, and the renovation was completed in the 2000s. The renovation included an extension of the centre's premises, including steam saunas, jacuzzis, and a gym. In 2008, the centre was awarded the European Union Europa Nostra award for successful renovation.

Aalto Media Lab is a transdisciplinary laboratory focusing on digital design and its impact to culture and society. The Lab is part of the Department of Media at the School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Aalto University in Finland. Media Lab is a base for MA and Doctoral studies, and for research on design and production of digital culture, digital media, interaction design, games, new media art and sound and the effect they have on society. The current MA programs and majors of the Aalto Media Lab are MA in New Media, Sound in New Media and Game Design. The Lab is a coordinator and a partner in number of international research, design and development projects focusing on digital technology, art, design, media and culture.

Väre is a building of the Aalto University in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland. The main user of the building is the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, in addition to which the metro centre on the ground floor contains about 6000 square metres of commercial space such as two grocery stores, special stores and many restaurants and cafés. The building has a connection to the Aalto University metro station. In the immediate vicinity, on the other side of the Korkeakouluaukio square, are the Aalto University Undergraduate Center and the Aalto University Library. There is a stop for the Helsinki light rail line 15 on the Korkeakouluaukio square. A design contest was held for the building, which was won by the entry by Verstas Arkkitehdit in 2013. Designers included Jussi Palva, Väinö Nikkilä, Riina Palva, Ilkka Salminen and Mikko Rossi. Construction started in December 2015. The building was completed in summer 2018 and was opened to the public in September 2018. The main building of the Aalto University School of Business located in the same block was taken into use in February 2019 when the rest of the facilities of the business school moved from Töölö, Helsinki to the new building in Otaniemi. In order to strengthen stereotypes, the railings and stairs at the business school part make playful use of gold-coloured paint while the part for the school of arts, design and architecture make use of rusted steel. There is a café at the bottom floor selling sparkling wine. On the bottom floor of the schgool of arts, design and architecture is a vegetarian restaurant.

Aalto University (Finnish: Aalto-yliopisto, Swedish: Aalto-universitetet) is an underground station on the western metro extension (Länsimetro) of the Helsinki Metro. It is located inside the Otaniemi campus of Aalto University.

The Espoo Cultural Centre (Finnish: Espoon kulttuurikeskus; Swedish: Esbo kulturcentrum) is a culture centre in Tapiola, Espoo, Finland. It is most famous for hosting the central library of Tapiola. Near the culture centre is the Tapiola swimming pool and the Tapiola Garden hotel. The Espoo Cultural Centre hosts arts events, hosts activities to further culture in Espoo, offers cultural and public services, and hosts parties, meetings, fairs, and private events. The cultural centre houses the Espoo musical academy, the Espoo city orchestra Tapiola Sinfonietta, the Tapiola library, the Espoo city cultural office, the Tapiola general service point, and the Espoo folk high school. Among others, the Espoo city theatre, April Jazz, the Espoo Ciné film festival, the Espoo international piano week and KuoroEspoo have hosted events in the Espoo cultural centre. According to the web page of the city of Espoo, the cultural centre is "the main stage for performing arts and cultural life in Espoo".The Espoo cultural centre is located next to the Tapiola Central Tower, between the cultural square and the central pool. The building was designed by the architect Arto Sipinen and was completed in 1989. The building has two halls: Louhisali, with 300 seats, suitable for theatre, and Tapiolasali, with 800 seats, suitable for concerts.

The Tapiola Central Tower (Finnish: Tapiolan keskustorni) is a high-rise building at the centre of the Tapiola garden city in northeastern Espoo, Finland. The tower is 49 metres (161 ft) high and has 13 floors. It has a total floor space of 5,600 m2 (60,000 sq ft). The tower was designed by architect Aarne Ervi and it was completed in 1961. Construction of the tower started in 1958. The tower was originally known as Konttoritorni ("office tower").Originally the bottom floors of the tower hosted business spaces, while the top floors hosted offices and bureaus. The twelfth floor hosted restaurant Linnunrata for a long time. Ainoa is a shopping centre located in Tapiola, Espoo, Finland. Its first phase was opened on 24 October 2013 in a 1979 building that housed the Tapiola Sokos department house until 2011. During the renovation, the building was extended both upwards and downwards. Ainoa has five floors and about 30 shops, such as K-supermarket, Little Bouquet Factory, Stockmann, Alko, H&M, Clas Ohlson, Cubus, Stadium, BR-Lelut and Kultajousi. The parking hall in connection with Ainoa has approximately 450 parking spaces. Ainoa has good bus connections to other parts of Espoo and the neighbouring city of Helsinki. Ainoa is accessible from the Helsinki Metro through the Länsimetro extension. In the future Ainoa will have a central parking hall with approximately 2000 parking spaces.
