Century Park station (Shanghai Metro)

The Shanghai maglev train (SMT) or Shanghai Transrapid (Chinese: 上海磁浮示范运营线; pinyin: Shànghǎi Cífú Shìfàn Yùnyíng Xiàn) is a magnetic levitation train (maglev) line that operates in Shanghai, China. The line uses the German Transrapid technology. The Shanghai maglev is the world's first commercial high-speed maglev and has a maximum cruising speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). Prior to May 2021 the cruising speed was 431 km/h (268 mph), at the time this made it the fastest train service in commercial operation.The train line connects Shanghai Pudong International Airport (transfer to Line 2) and Longyang Road Station (in the outskirts of central Pudong, transfer to Lines 2, 7, 16, and 18), where passengers can interchange to the Shanghai Metro to continue their trip to the city center. The line is not part of the Shanghai Metro network, which operates its own service to Pudong Airport from central Shanghai and Longyang Road Station (Line 2). The journey takes 8 minutes and 10 seconds to complete the distance of 30 km (18.6 mi). A train can reach 300 km/h (186 mph) in 2 minutes and 15 seconds, while the historical maximum operational speed of 431 km/h (268 mph) could be reached after 4 minutes.

Longyang Road (simplified Chinese: 龙阳路; traditional Chinese: 龍陽路; pinyin: Lóngyáng Lù) is an interchange station that serves both the Shanghai maglev train and lines 2, 7, 16 and 18 on the Shanghai Metro. It provides quick transfers between the metro system and the Maglev train to and from Pudong International Airport. There are two separate fare-paid zones at this station: one for the conventional metro lines (Lines 2, 7, 16, 18) and one for the Maglev train, which has a separate fare system. It is also the third four-line interchange station in mainland China and the second in Shanghai, after Century Avenue and Chegongmiao in Shenzhen, and the first five-line interchange (Maglev included) station in Shanghai and mainland China.

Huamu Road (Chinese: 花木路; pinyin: Huāmù Lù) is a station on Line 7 of the Shanghai Metro. This station is the eastern terminus of Line 7, and entered operation on December 5, 2009. It is part of the first phase of Line 7. The station was originally named Fangdian Road. The station is located in the Pudong New Area.

Century Park (simplified Chinese: 世纪公园; traditional Chinese: 世紀公園; pinyin: Shìjì Gōngyuán; Shanghainese: Sy-ci Kon-yoe) is the biggest park in the city of Shanghai. It is situated on Jinxiu Road, in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai, nearby to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. Century Park focuses on lawns, woods, and lakes. The park was designed by the British environmental consultancy LUC and was built in four years from 1996 to 2000. It got its name because it is situated at the end of Century Avenue. Its construction was completed in 2000, the starting point of the new century. The park is known as "Holiday Park" because it is both modern and natural. Numerous different facilities are provided for tourists in the park. They can feed pigeons, go fishing, row a boat, peddle a bicycle, or have fun in the green maze. Century Park sprawls 140 hectares (350 acres) and lies to the south of Century Boulevard (世纪大道).Century Park is divided into seven parts, including the Lakeside Scenic Area, the Forest Landscape Area, the Amenity Grass, the Nature Reserve, the Folk Village, the Exotic Zone, and the Mini Golf Course. There are eight entrances in total, and five of them are open to the public: Gate 1 at the end of Century Avenue, Gate 2 at the crossroad of Jinxiu Road and Minsheng Road, Gate 3 at the crossroad of Jinxiu Road and Jinsong Road, Gate 5 at the crossroad of Huamu Road and Fangdian Road, and Gate 7 at the intersection of Huamu Road and Yinghua Road.

ChinaJoy, formally China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference (中国国际数码互动娱乐展览会; 'China International Digital Interactive Entertainment Exhibition') is a digital entertainment expo held annually in Shanghai, China.The exhibition is the largest gaming and digital entertainment exhibition held in China and Asia.

The Shanghai New International Expo Center is an exhibition center in Pudong, Shanghai. It hosts many exhibitions, including the Shanghai Motor Show. It has also hosted the 2002 Tennis Masters Cup, where one of the halls was temporarily converted into a tennis court. With more than 100 exhibitions per year and a turnover rate of 27 (2015), SNIEC is one of the world's most successful exhibition venues.Construction started on November 4, 1999, with its opening taking place on November 2, 2001. It has, as of 2012, a capacity of 200,000 square meters indoor and 100,000 square meters outdoor exhibition area. Expo Center facilities include 17 exhibition halls, conference rooms, and a business center. Hotel facilities and a subway station are located at one of the entrance halls of the center. Total investment until 2011 was 591 million U.S. dollars.Shanghai New International Expo Center Co., Ltd. is a Sino-German 50:50 joint venture of Shanghai Lujiazui Exhibition Development Co., Ltd. and the German Exposition Corporation International GmbH (GEC). GEC is a joint venture of Deutsche Messe AG, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and Messe Munich GmbH. Since 2014, the German Michael Kruppe is general manager of the company.The United States design firm Murphy/Jahn Architects designed the center.The nearest Shanghai Metro station is Longyang Road station, which is served by Line 2, Line 7, Line 16, Line 18, and the Shanghai maglev train to Pudong International Airport. Shanghai Science and Technology Museum (simplified Chinese: 上海科技馆; traditional Chinese: 上海科技館; pinyin: Shànghǎi Kējìguǎn) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 2. It features the large underground AP Plaza shopping mall. The station is linked directly to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, and is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from Zhongshan Park to Longyang Road that opened on 20 September 1999.

Shanghai Street Circuit (上海街道赛道) is a street circuit in Pudong, Shanghai. On 18 July 2004, the 2.840 km (1.765 mi) track hosted a non-championship race of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters won by Gary Paffett for Mercedes-AMG.On 28 January 2010, DTM bosses revealed the final calendar for the 2010 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season featured a season finale on a shortened 2.465 km (1.532 mi) version of the street circuit on 31 October 2010 for the first time in six years. The race was later rescheduled for 28 November 2010, and was won by Gary Paffett, while his teammate at HWA Team Paul di Resta claimed the drivers' title there.

Yingchun Road (Chinese: 迎春路) is a station that serves Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Jinxiu Road and Minsheng Road in Pudong, Shanghai, the station was opened with the rest of phase one of Line 18 on December 30, 2021. The station is named after the nearby Yingchun Road, which intersects Minsheng Road one block north of the station.

Fanghua Road (simplified Chinese: 芳华路; traditional Chinese: 芳華路; pinyin: Fānghuá Lù), formerly known as Hunan Road Station (沪南路; 滬南路; Hùnán Lù), is a station on Line 7 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on December 5, 2009. The station is located in Pudong New Area.

Fangxin Road (Chinese: 芳芯路) is a station on Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Fangxin Road and Baiyang Road in Pudong, Shanghai, the station opened with the rest of phase one of Line 18 in 2021.

Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is a large museum in Pudong, Shanghai, close to Century Park, the largest park within the inner districts of the city. It is one of China's most-visited museums. It received 1,351,000 visitors in 2020, despite a fall of attendance of 72 percent from 2019 due to restrictions and reduced tourism imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
