Bryntirion Estate is an estate in Pretoria, South Africa. It incorporates the Mahlamba Ndlopfu residence of the president of South Africa, the vice president's residence (called the OR Tambo House), the presidential guest house, many homes of cabinet ministers, 15 tennis courts, and a 9 hole presidential golf course with a helipad. The estate is 1.07 square kilometres (107 hectares or 264 acres). The perimeter security system includes 202 CCTV cameras, 4 gatehouses and 8.1 km of anti-climb motion detection fences. The perimeter fences cost R90 million (USD12.8 million) to build in 2007. R90 million for 8.1 km is approximately R11 million per kilometre or R11 000 per metre. The Bryntirion Estate contains 28 erfs (properties). All the Bryntirion erven are owned by the Republic of South Africa except for erf 16.

Indonesia also has a consulate general in Cape Town and an honorary consulate in Mbabane, Eswatini.The first Indonesian ambassador to South Africa was Rahadi Iskandar (1995–1998). The current ambassador, Salman Al Farisi, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 2 May 2018.

Venning Park is a park in Arcadia, Pretoria, South Africa. The three-hectare park is formally laid out with a sunken garden on the western side of the park and a tea garden, the Heavenly Rose Café, in the middle. The park also features a date palm-lined path and rose gardens on the eastern side near the American Embassy and the Indian High Commission. Annuals are regularly planted on a site between the busy arteries of Pretorius and Schoeman Streets and quieter Eastwood and Farenden Streets.

Fairview Avenue is a closed road through which only officials can enter the Union Buildings. Though not in the centre of Pretoria, the Union Buildings occupy the highest point of Pretoria, and constitute a South African national heritage site.The Buildings are one of the centres of political life in South Africa; "The Buildings" and "Arcadia" have become metonyms for the South African government. It has become an iconic landmark of Pretoria and South Africa in general, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city and an emblem of democracy. The Buildings are the location of presidential inaugurations.

The Nelson Mandela statue on the Union Buildings grounds, Pretoria, Gauteng, of former President of South Africa and anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela, stands 9 metres tall. The statue was unveiled on the Day of Reconciliation (16 December) 2013, bringing the official mourning period of ten days to a close, after Mandela died on 5 December.
