TPC at Piper Glen (full name Tournament Players Club at Piper Glen) is a private golf club located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

John Washington McKinney House was a historic home located near Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The I-house was built in the 1870s, and was remodeled in the Colonial Revival style about 1916. It was a two-story, double pile farmhouse with a slate hipped roof and one-story rear kitchen ell. Also on the property were a contributing wellhouse / dairy (c. 1916) and smokehouse (c. 1916). It has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

The Big Rock Nature Preserve is a nature preserve and park with a natural rock shelter in Charlotte, North Carolina. Big Rock is known for its "very big and quite significant rocks" which are the largest known exposed boulders in Mecklenburg County. The eponymous rocks are part of a granite pluton and form a natural rock shelter with archaeological evidence of human use dating to 5500 BC.

The British International School of Charlotte (BISC), formerly known as the "British American School" is a private non-sectarian, co-educational college preparatory day school located in the Ballantyne neighborhood in south Charlotte, North Carolina. BISC offers education for ages 18 months to 18 years old (Grade 12/UK (Year 13)). The school opened in September 2004 and was the fifth school opened in the United States by the British Schools of America. In 2013, BISC joined Nord Anglia Education, an international education provider with 66 international schools and over 50,000 students.

Green Morris Farm was a historic home, farm, and national historic district located near Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The district encompassed two contributing buildings and one contributing site in rural Mecklenburg County. The farmhouse was built about 1870, and was a two-story, three-bay I-house with two one-story rear additions. It had a hipped roof and blend of vernacular Greek Revival / Italianate style design elements. The front facade featured a one-story, facade-width porch topped by a center-bay balcony. Other contributing resources were a machinery shed (c. 1920) and the agricultural landscape. It has been demolished. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

United Faith Christian Academy is a private, accredited, college-preparatory Christian school for children in Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade that was founded in 1985, and also operates United Faith Christian Preschool for children 24 months–4 years old. Its two-building facility is located in Charlotte, NC.

Charlotte Latin School is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian day school located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The school was founded in 1970 and serves about 1,500 students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Southern Association of Independent Schools and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.

The 2017 PGA Championship was the 99th PGA Championship, held August 10–13 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. This was the first major at Quail Hollow, which is a regular stop on the PGA Tour. Early in the week of the tournament, it was announced that the championship will be held in May beginning in 2019.Justin Thomas, the son of a PGA professional, won his first career major title, two strokes ahead of runners-up Francesco Molinari, Louis Oosthuizen, and Patrick Reed.

Quail Hollow Club is a country club and golf course in the southeastern United States, located in the Quail Hollow neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is a private member club, founded by James J. Harris on April 13, 1959. The club hosted the Kemper Open on the PGA Tour from 1969 through 1979, and the senior tour's PaineWebber Invitational from 1983 through 1989. The PGA Tour returned to Quail Hollow in 2003 with the Wachovia Championship, now the Wells Fargo Championship, which has been held every year since except 2020 when it was cancelled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Additionally the club hosted the 2017 PGA Championship and that year the Wells Fargo was held at Eagle Point in Wilmington, North Carolina. The club is also scheduled to host the PGA Championship for a second time in 2025Quail Hollow was designed by golf course architect George Cobb who designed several golf courses, primarily in the southeastern United States. Opened in 1961, it underwent a series of improvements, including modifications of several holes by Arnold Palmer in 1986, and a redesign by Tom Fazio in 1997, 2003, and from 2014 to 2016 in preparation for the PGA Championship. South of central Charlotte, the average elevation of the course is approximately 600 feet (185 m) above sea level. The course is part of an extensive housing development. Quail Hollow is scheduled to host the fourteenth edition of the Presidents Cup in 2022, after being postponed from its original date of 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. For the event, the courses will be rerouted. The hole arrangement changes starting at the 8th hole. After the 8th hole, players will skip the 9th to 11th holes, and will then play the 12th hole, and continue. After the 18th hole, players will play holes 9-11. The realignment of the course was designed for match play to assure most matches will reach the 16th to 18th holes at the course, with the only possible ways to avoid the signature "Green Mile" is to win 7&6 or better.
