Crestwood Preparatory College is a co-ed, non-semestered high school in Toronto, Ontario. Located in the former Brookbanks Public School property, Crestwood Preparatory College is owned by Toronto Lands Corporation (a real estate arm of the Toronto District School Board).

Parkwoods or sometimes referred to as Parkwoods-Donalda, is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a geographically large neighbourhood located just south of Ontario Highway 401, west of Victoria Park Avenue, north of Lawrence Avenue East and east of the Don Valley Parkway.

Lynch High School until 1967 is a Separate high school in the Parkwoods neighbourhood in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada serving grades 9 to 12 in the communities of Wexford, Maryvale, Don Mills, and Dorset Park. The school was named after Senator Frank O'Connor, founder of the Laura Secord chocolate company. The school is part of the Toronto Catholic District School Board and was originally founded as John J. Lynch High School in 1963, named after the first archbishop of Toronto from 1870 to 1888, John Joseph Lynch. It had 1,414 students as of March 2018, and was ranked 266 of 738 secondary schools in the 2017-18 Fraser Institute School Report Card.

Parkway Mall (originally Parkway Plaza) is a community-scale shopping centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at the southeast corner of Victoria Park Avenue and Ellesmere Road in the Maryvale neighbourhood in the Scarborough district. Parkway Mall is more geared toward providing essential community and neighbourhood-level retail stores and services, rather than being a large-scale regional shopping destination, such as the nearby Fairview or Scarborough Town Centre. The mall has always had a larger grocery store within it and for many years until the early 2000s also had a Zellers discount department store.

Radisson Toronto East Hotel is a hotel in North York, Toronto, Ontario. It is located at 55 Hallcrown Place, immediately north-west of the intersection of Highway 401 and Highway 404. As of September 2018, there were 400 African refugees staying there long term, causing the media to label it as a refugee camp and refugee hotel. In October 2018, an arsonist started a fire in the hotel, although Toronto Police said there was no indication the fire was an attack on the refugees.

Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts (commonly known as Wexford Collegiate, WCSA, Wexford CSA, Wexford or "Wex" for short), formerly and still known as Wexford Collegiate Institute (WCI) (initially known as Northwest Collegiate Institute) is a public high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located in the former suburb of Scarborough, it is run and organized by the Toronto District School Board. The school officially opened to students in September 1965 by the Scarborough Board of Education. It was renamed Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts in 2006 in recognition of its specialized arts programs.The school is located in the Wexford neighborhood of Scarborough, north of the intersection of Lawrence Avenue and Pharmacy Avenue. Don Valley East (French: Don Valley-Est) is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada that covers the northeast section of the North York part of Toronto. The federal riding was created in 1976 from parts of Willowdale, York East, York North, and York—Scarborough ridings. It is represented in the House of Commons of Canada by Liberal MP Michael Coteau. He was formerly the Ontario Liberal MPP for the contiguous provincial riding.

Don Valley East is a provincial electoral district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It was created in 1999 from parts of Don Mills, York Mills, Oriole and Willowdale. When the riding was created, it included all of North York within the following line: A hydroelectric transmission corridor located south of McNicoll Avenue to Highway 404 to Finch Avenue to the Don River East Branch to Highway 401 to Leslie Street to the CN Railway to Don Mills Road to the CP Railway to the Don River East Branch to the border of East York around Sunrise Avenue. In 2007, the boundaries were altered slightly. In the northwest, the boundary was changed from the Don River to Leslie Street, and in the south they changed from the North York/East York border to Sunrise Avenue. This riding underwent significant changes during the 2012 electoral redistribution. It lost almost half of its territory to Don Valley North and gained a significant portion of Don Valley West. It is operated by Tasos Sklavos.Comedian Mike Myers has endorsed the eatery several times during interviews as being a childhood favourite, having grown up in Scarborough. The spot was combined with the Canadian coffee and donut chain Tim Hortons to create Stan Mikita's, a fictional hangout appearing in Myers' famous Wayne's World movies.
