Port Richey is a city in Pasco County, Florida, United States. It is a suburban city included in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2020, the city had a population of 3,052.

WZRA-CD (channel 48) is a low-power, Class A television station licensed to Oldsmar, Florida, United States, serving ethnic groups in the Tampa Bay area. The station carries a variety of mostly news-oriented programming from broadcasters outside the United States, in several languages. In Pinellas County, WZRA-CD is available on WOW! cable TV channel 122 and on Spectrum digital channel 948. WZRA is also on channel 24 on Verizon FiOS throughout the market, as far south as Sarasota County. The station also offers a live feed of its programming on the Internet.

Gulf View Square Mall is an enclosed mall in Port Richey, Florida. Opened in 1980, it is anchored by Best Buy & Dillard's Clearance Store and is owned by Namdar Realty Group. The mall has not been in great shape in recent years. There have been plans to demolish the mall, but the mall is trying to find other ways to make money.

Richey Suncoast Theatre is a historic former movie theatre built in 1925 and later restored for use as a playhouse and community theatre in New Port Richey, Florida. It is named for silent film star Thomas Meighan and opened as the Meighan Theatre on July 1, 1926 with a screening of Meighan's movie The New Klondike. Meighan himself was not present but sent a congratulatory telegram.In 1930 sound was added to the theatre. Meighan himself appeared to push the start button for the sound. The theatre closed in 1934 due to the Great Depression. It reopened in 1938 as a community theatre under the name The New Port Richey Theatre. : Richey Suncoast Theatre.The theatre hosts the Black Maria Film and Video Festival.

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is a hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. In 2010, two brand new buildings opened: Starkey Tower and the Medical Arts Building. In addition to the new buildings, the hospital opened the Richard and Laura Bekesh Education and Conference Center which hosts community lectures, support groups, and health screenings. North Bay Hospital is also home to Mitchell Rehabilitation Hospital, a 30-bed acute rehab facility.

The Hacienda Hotel is a historic site in New Port Richey, Florida. It is located at 5621 Main Street. On October 24, 1996, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by Thomas Reed Martin. The hotel originally opened in 1927. The city of New Port Richey bought the building in 2003.The Hacienda opened as a hotel again when it reopened on September 15, 2022. The hotel features a full-service restaurant and bar, Sasha's On the Park.

Gulf Harbors is an unincorporated community in western Pasco County, Florida, United States, near New Port Richey; however, the community has not been a census-designated place since 1970. According to Rand McNally, the latest population estimates for the community is approximately 5,000. Gulf Harbors and its sister communities, the Woodlands, Sea Forest, Sea Colony, Egrets Place and Harbor Colony are deed restricted, waterfront communities and cater to boating and fishing enthusiasts. It used to have a golf course that opened in 1973 and closed in 2011. The community falls into the 34652 zip code and 727 area code.

Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park is a Florida state park located in Pasco County, Florida near Port Richey, Florida, along the Gulf of Mexico on the Atlantic coastal plain. An entrance to this park is at the intersection of Scenic Drive and Cinema Drive, one mile west of the intersection of Cinema Drive/Ridge Manor Blvd. and U.S. Highway 19. The park is named, in part, for a 320 feet deep saltwater spring in the park, which is not yet easily accessible. The park includes four miles of Pasco County's coastal waters on the Gulf of Mexico. Activities include picnicking, boating, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The park's wildlife include gray foxes, gopher tortoises, alligators, and West Indian manatees, as well as about 150 species of bird. Among the park's birds are raptors, wading birds, shore birds, and migratory song birds. The park includes a half mile nature trail, a picnic pavilion, and an informational kiosk. Visitors can explore the park's waterways by boat, but there is no boat ramp as yet. The park is new, and planned additions include hiking trails, primitive camping, group camping, picnicking and marked canoe/kayak trails. The park was named by Robert Pullen and CJ Bennett in a contest when the two were classmates at Hudson Elementary School. The park is open from 8:00 am till sundown year round.

Gulf High School is a four-year public high school in New Port Richey, Florida. It is part of the Pasco County School System in Pasco County, Florida. It is the first high school in western Pasco County and the second school in Pasco County to offer the International Baccalaureate Program, the other being Land O' Lakes High School. Gulf High School is so named because it was originally located less than one mile from the Gulf of Mexico.
