Fermanagh and South Tyrone (UK Parliament constituency)

Fermanagh and South Tyrone is a constituency in the Northern Ireland Assembly. It was first used for a Northern Ireland-only election in 1973, which elected the then Northern Ireland Assembly. It usually shares boundaries with the Fermanagh and South Tyrone UK Parliament constituency. However, the boundaries of the two constituencies were slightly different from 1983 to 1986 (because the Assembly boundaries had not caught up with Parliamentary boundary changes) and from 1996 to 1997, when members of the Northern Ireland Forum had been elected from the newly drawn Parliamentary constituencies but the 51st Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected in 1992 under the 1983–95 constituency boundaries, was still in session. Members were then elected from the constituency to the 1975 Constitutional Convention, the 1982 Assembly, the 1996 Forum and then to the current Assembly from 1998. Tattyreagh St Patrick's is a GAA club based in the townland of Tattyreagh (from the Irish: An Táite Riabhach meaning the striped/tabby field), about halfway between Omagh and Fintona in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Drumragh is a civil parish and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, on the right bank of the River Drumragh. Today, it is within the county town of Omagh. It has a Roman Catholic church; and a Church of Ireland one.

Fintona Junction railway station served Fintona in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. The Londonderry and Enniskillen Railway opened the station on 1 May 1856. It was taken over by the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) in 1883. It closed on 1 October 1957.

Tattyreagh (from Irish: An Táite Riabhach meaning "the striped/tabby field") is a small townland near Seskinore in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, and is situated within Omagh District Council area. Tattyreagh townland is approximately 258 acres (0.4 mi2) in area. Over the past 10 years, rapid growth has emerged in this small rural community with new private housing. It consists of mainly residential houses and farms, one Catholic primary school (Sacred Heart PS), Tattyreagh St. Patrick's Gaelic Athletic Association club, Darcy Park, and a public house. Cutting through the area is one main road leading from Omagh to Fintona.

Fintona Pearses (Irish: Fionntamhnach Na Piarsaigh) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Fintona, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is a member of the Tyrone GAA county board and is named after the Irish poet and revolutionary, Patrick Pearse. The club primarily concentrates on Gaelic football for both men and women, with boys hurling teams fielded at youth level. Its home venue is called St Lawrence's Park, located just outside the village on the Tattymoyle Road. As of 2025, the senior Gaelic football team competes in Division 2 of the Tyrone All-County Football League as well as the Tyrone Intermediate Football Championship.

Strabane District Council (Irish: Comhairle Ceantair an tSratha Báin; Ulster-Scots: Stràbane Destrìck Cooncil) was a local council in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland established by the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972. It merged with Derry City Council on 1 April 2015 under local government reorganisation in Northern Ireland to become Derry and Strabane District Council. The headquarters of the council was in the town of Strabane. Apart from Strabane the other smaller towns in the area included Plumbridge, Newtownstewart, Donemana, Sion Mills and Castlederg. Also included in the Strabane District Council area were the following rural areas: Glenmornan, Evish, Glebe, Artigarvan, and Ballymagorry. The Strabane District Council area consisted of three electoral areas, Derg, Glenelly and Mourne, from which 16 members were elected. At the final elections in 2011 members were elected from the following political parties: 8 Sinn Féin, 4 Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), 1 Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP), 1 Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) and 2 Independent Nationalist.

Drumragh Sarsfields is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Clanabogan between Omagh and Dromore in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The club was founded in 1972 as a result of an amalgamation of Tattysallagh St. Eugenes and Tattyreagh St Patrick's GAC.

Seskinore or Seskanore (from Irish Seisceann Mhór, meaning 'big marsh/bog') is a small village and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) northeast of Fintona and 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) southeast of Omagh. The village had a population of 358 in the 2021 census.

Clanabogan (from Irish Cluain Uí Bhogáin, meaning 'Ó Bogáin's meadow') is a small village and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 225 people. It lies within the Omagh District Council area. There is an anthroposophical living and working community for people with mental handicaps, called Camphill Community Clanabogan.
