Vifärna is a village in Ekerö Municipality, Stockholm County, southeastern Sweden.

Balingsta Church (Swedish: Balingsta kyrka) is a Lutheran church in the Archdiocese of Uppsala in Uppsala County, Sweden. It is one of the best preserved Romanesque churches in the province of Uppland. .Not far from the church is the site of the Viking Era memorial Böksta Runestone (Bökstastenen).

Sjöö Castle (modern spelling: Sjö) is a castle in the tiny Parish of Holm (population in the year 2000: 26), in the Municipality of Enköping in Uppland, Sweden. The Sjöö Castle Palace with its park is considered one of the most beautiful in Sweden, with its perfect and harmonious proportions.

The Church of Holm is located in the Parish of Holm, between Lårstaviken and Gorran in Mälaren, 17 km north of Bålsta, in the Municipality of Enköping in Uppland, Sweden. Holm is probably the smallest parish in Sweden today, with a population of 26 residents enlisted in the year 2000. The church was constructed in 1678 above the ruins of an earlier medieval church. From the start, the new church was closely connected with the nearby Sjöö Castle (modern spelling: Sjö), which was built during the decade between 1669 and 1769 by a patron (Latin: patrōnus) of the church, the Marshal of the Realm of Sweden Johan Gabriel Stenbock (1640-1705). The first head of congregation working in the newly built church was the Rector (Swedish: "kyrkoherde") Andreas Hackzelius (1630-1681), who also headed the congregation of Kulla close by. The 17th-century patronage of the Church of Holm consisted of high-ranking statesmen and royal and other high noble friends and family members of Johan Gabriel Stenbock who owned Sjöö Castle and was one of the most powerful people within the Realm of Sweden. In one 17th-century letter remaining to date, the Queen of Sweden Christina (1626-1689) compliments and thanks Rector Andreas Hackzelius for a church service and sermon given by him. The church was built in Italian style. It has a rectangular plan and a ridge roof. The design work was done either by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder or Mathias Spieler or possibly both. At the time, the two architects were on the grounds to lead the work on the Castle's construction. Because the church has later burned twice, in 1723 and in 1822, basically only the stonewalls of the 17th-century church remain today. Otherwise, the present exterior of the church appearance is from the reconstruction work after the fire of 1822. The church decor is from the 1720s. A new sacristy for the church was designed in 1840. The church was repaired in 1950 when it was in poor condition, after having been used for many years as a granary. Above the altar in the church is a pulpit and above the pulpit is a small organ from the 17th century - it was donated to the Church in 1752. Above the middle aisle of the church is a 16-arm chandelier from around 1700. Today, the Church of Holm belongs to the Assembly of Lagunda in the Diocese of Uppsala.

The Böksta runestone is a Viking Age memorial runestone that is located near the farm of Böksta in Balingsta, which is about four kilometers southwest of Ramstalund, Uppsala County, Sweden, in the historic province of Uppland. It is situated not far from Balingsta Church.

Arnöhuvud Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in Uppsala County, Sweden. The nature reserve protects a forested and relatively high peninsula in Lake Mälaren, part of a much longer ridge. It rises to approximately 45 m (148 ft) in the nature reserve. It is covered with old-growth forest consisting mainly of Norway spruce and Scots pine. The rich fauna includes hare, roe deer, pheasants and several types of marine birds. The nature reserve furthermore contains several cairns dating from the Bronze Age. The nature reserve is part of the EU-wide Natura 2000 network.

Gryta Church (Swedish: Gryta kyrka) is a medieval Lutheran church located in a shallow valley about 2 kilometers northeast of Örsundsbro, in the Archdiocese of Uppsala in Uppsala County, Sweden. A few hundred meters west of the church is Salnecke Castle, one of Sweden's best-preserved castles from the mid-17th century.

Ulleråker Hundred, or Ulleråkers härad, was a hundred of Uppland and Uppsala County in Sweden. The area of the hundred stretches from the border of Hagunda hundred in the south-west to the Rivers Jumkilsån and Fyrisån in the northwest and Lake Ekoln in the south-east. The area of the hundred was described by Wilhelm Tham in 1850 as consisting of mostly unforested fields with occasional swampy areas around the streams which flow into the Fyris or Lake Ekoln. The medieval Ullarakers hundare (the name later changed into Ulleråker) had its name after Ullaraker, the place of the thing, which was close to the Church of the Holy Trinity or the Castle in Uppsala. The hundred consisted of the parishes of Bondkyrka, Börje, Jumkil, Läby, Näs and Vänge. The hundred was (1920) part of the middle court district of Uppsala County, Tiunda tingslag and Tiunda bailiwick. In the 19th and early 20th centuries it consisted of the parishes of Bondkyrka, Börje, Uppsala-Näs, Vänge, Läby, and one half of Jumkil, of which the other half belonged to Bälinge Hundred. The antiquities in Ulleråker Hundred were described by the antiquarian Johan Peringskiöld in his large, illustrated work Monumenta ullerakeriensia, published in 1719. Ulleråker is also the name of a deanery in the Archdiocese of Uppsala.

Vänge, previously known as Brunna, is a locality situated west of Uppsala in Uppsala Municipality, Uppsala County, Sweden with 1,331 inhabitants in 2010.The community holds a medieval church and the building of the church began in the middle of the 12th century. It is built on the site of an older church which was probably made of wood. This preceding church was built in the end of the 11th century on the site of a holy well.

Vänge Church (Swedish: Vänge kyrka) is a Lutheran church at Vänge in Uppsala County, Sweden. It lies in the Archdiocese of Uppsala of the Church of Sweden.
