Saint Bartley Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church in Huntsville, Alabama. Bartley Harris (1800 - 1896) served as its minister. He is renowned for refusing to disclose the whereabouts of valuables he hid for his Confederate neighbors and for his mass baptisms in "Big Spring".

Huntsville Bible College is a non-denominational Christian seminary in Huntsville, Alabama. Founded in 1986, the college offers both associate degrees and bachelor's degrees in Christian Education, Mission and Evangelism, and Pastoral Ministry, as well as a bachelor's in Theology. With 72 students and 13 faculty members, it is one of the smallest post-secondary institutes in Alabama.

Con†Stellation (also written as Con*Stellation) was an annual general-interest science fiction convention held in Huntsville, Alabama. Held annually since 1982, Con†Stellation is hosted by the North Alabama Science Fiction Association. The convention was not held in 2014 but the sequence resumed with Con†Stellation XXXIII: Coma Berenices in October 2015.

The Huntsville bus crash involved a school bus carrying 40 students from Lee High School and a car, both heading to the Huntsville Center for Technology, which occurred on November 20, 2006, on an elevated portion of Interstate 565 in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Kildare–McCormick House is a historic residence in Huntsville, Alabama. The highly ornate, Queen Anne-style mansion was built in 1886–87. Its early owners contributed to the development of Huntsville, both through industrial projects and philanthropic efforts. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Lowry House is a historic home in Huntsville, Alabama. It was built circa 1850 by John Tate Lowry, a merchant with the firm of Lowry, Hamilton and Company. Elements of an earlier Lowry family log house, built circa 1809, that stood on the site were incorporated into the new construction.Restoration of the Lowry House began in 1998 with assistance from Harvie P. Jones, a preservation architect. It took a total of four years. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service on October 29, 2001. It was subsequently listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on November 26, 2012.

The Huntsville Depot located on the Norfolk Southern Railway line in downtown Huntsville is the oldest surviving railroad depot in Alabama and one of the oldest in the United States. Completed in 1860, the depot served as eastern division headquarters for the Memphis and Charleston Railroad. It is listed on both the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage and National Register of Historic Places.Huntsville was occupied by Union forces in 1862 during the Civil War as a strategic point on the railroad and the depot was used as a prison for Confederate soldiers. Graffiti left by the soldiers can still be seen on the walls. The Huntsville Depot saw its last regularly scheduled passenger train, Southern Railway's The Tennessean, on March 30, 1968. Today the Depot serves as a museum, part of the Early Works Museum. A 0-4-0 Porter steam locomotive that was built in Pittsburgh in 1904 resides outside of the museum.

Lincoln School is a historic school building in Huntsville, Alabama. Built in 1929 as part of the Lincoln Mill Village, the school became part of the city school system in the 1950s. The city sold the building to a private school in 2011. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

S. R. Butler High School was a four-year public high school that served students in grades 9-12 from Huntsville, Alabama. The school was named after Samuel Riley Butler, a principal, school superintendent, and school founder. It opened in 1951 and closed in 2015.

The Lincoln Mill and Mill Village Historic District is a historic district in Huntsville, Alabama. Opened in 1900, it quickly grew to be Huntsville's largest cotton mill in the first quarter of the 20th century. After closing in 1955, the mills were converted to office space that was used by the U.S. space program. Two of the older production buildings burned in 1980, but one main building and numerous houses built for workers remain. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Glenwood Cemetery, formerly Georgia Cemetery, is a historic cemetery for African American burials founded in c. 1870 on Hall Avenue in Huntsville, Alabama. Burials include veterans, local politicians, and community leaders.

The Lombardo Building is a historic warehouse in Huntsville, Alabama. The three-story brick structure was built in 1922. The façade is divided into three bays by four piers. The center and right bays each have a double entry door with transom and sidelights, while the left bay contains a group of four one-over-one sash windows topped with a transom. Each of the upper floors has groups of three one-over-one windows. Each bay is topped with three decorative corbels, below a stepped parapet. The center of the parapet is marked with "LOMBARDO" and "1922".The area of Jefferson Street was known as "Grocery Row", due to the number of grocery, vegetable, and fruit warehouses on the block. The Lombardo Building is adjacent to the Kelly Brothers and Rowe Building, 305 Jefferson Street, and the Halsey Grocery Warehouse, and less than a block from the W. L. Halsey Warehouse. The buildings lie one block south of the Huntsville Depot.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
