The Beach 25th Street station (signed as Beach 25th Street–Wavecrest station) is a station on the IND Rockaway Line of the New York City Subway, located in Queens on the Rockaway Freeway at Beach 25th Street. It is served by the A train at all times. There are two tracks and two side platforms.

Bayswater is a small neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens, on the eastern end of the Rockaway Peninsula. The community is located to the northwest of Far Rockaway, along the southeastern shore of Jamaica Bay. Some consider Bayswater to be a part of Far Rockaway, but most recognize it as separate. One of Bayswater's early developers was William Trist Bailey, who had purchased the property and laid out the community around 1878, hence the street names Bailey Court and Trist Place. Once the location of a number of summer hotels such as the Elstone Park and the Sunset Lodge, Bayswater is now a year-round residential neighborhood. Bayswater has a diverse population with large numbers of Black and Orthodox Jewish residents. The Bayswater Civic Association represents the area. Bayswater is located in Queens Community District 14 and its ZIP Code is 11691. It is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 101st Precinct.

Far Rockaway is a neighborhood on the eastern part of the Rockaway peninsula in the New York City borough of Queens. It is the easternmost section of the Rockaways. The neighborhood extends from Beach 32nd Street east to the Nassau County line. Its southern boundary is the Atlantic Ocean; it is one of the neighborhoods along Rockaway Beach. Far Rockaway is located in Queens Community District 14 and its ZIP Code is 11691. It is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 101st Precinct.

The Far Rockaway–Mott Avenue station (announced as Far Rockaway station) is the eastern terminal station of the New York City Subway's IND Rockaway Line. Originally a Long Island Rail Road station, it is currently the easternmost station in the New York City Subway. It is served by the A train at all times. As of 2016, this station is the busiest of all subway stations in the Rockaway peninsula. The original surface station on this site was opened in 1869; the current elevated station began operation as a subway station on January 16, 1958. The station was renovated between 2009 and 2012.

The Beach 36th Street station (signed as Beach 36th Street–Edgemere station) is a station on the IND Rockaway Line of the New York City Subway. The station is located at the intersection of Beach 36th Street and Rockaway Freeway in Edgemere, Queens. It is served by the A train at all times.

Far Rockaway–Lockwood's Grove is a former station on the Long Island Rail Road's Cedarhurst Cut-off that was located between Beach 21st Street and Beach 22nd Street in Far Rockaway, Queens. The old stationhouse was located roughly between the present Wavecrest and Mott Avenue stations when the entire line was at grade. On about July 1, 1871, before the extension to Far Rockaway opened, the line was leased to the Long Island Railroad. Far Rockaway–Lockwood's Grove was opened by the New York and Rockaway Railroad on May 14, 1872 with the extension of the Cedarhurst Cut-off. The section of the Cedarhurst Cut-off between Far Rockaway and Lockwood's Grove was later known as "The Grove Track". The station closed in September 1877. Lockwood's Grove's original station building was moved to Syosset station in 1877 after the station was abandoned. The building was renovated in 1944, but was torn down and replaced in 1948.

Far Rockaway Beach Bungalow Historic District is a historic area in Far Rockaway, Queens County, New York. It includes summer beach bungalows near the oceanfront of Far Rockaway. They are smaller than the usual domestic bungalows of the 1920s. They were built in 1921 using pattern book designs incorporating uniform facades, compact interiors, integrated porches and exposed rafters. Their architect, Henry Hohauser, became better known in the 1930s as a designer of Art Deco hotels in Miami Beach. The district was hit by Hurricane Sandy in 2012, but survived without major damage. The district is located along Beach 24th, 25th, and 26th Streets. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

St. John's Episcopal Hospital South Shore opened as St. Joseph's Hospital on June 25, 1905, became the South Shore Division of Long Island Jewish Hospital in January 1973, and was renamed St. John's Episcopal Hospital South Shore on July 1, 1976.

Bayswater Point State Park is a 17-acre (0.069 km2) state park located on Jamaica Bay in Queens, New York. The park is located at the western end of Mott Avenue in Bayswater near Far Rockaway and is built on land that once housed the mansion and estate of banker Louis A. Heinsheimer.

Trinity Chapel, also known as St. John's Church and Beth-El Temple Church of God in Christ, is a historic Episcopal church at 1874 Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York. It was built in 1858 to the design of architect Richard Upjohn (1802–1878). It is a frame Gothic Revival style chapel on a brick foundation and three bays wide by five bays long. It has a steeply pitched roof and sided in wood shingles. Atop the roof is a wooden belfry with steeply pitched pyramidal roof. It was founded as Trinity Chapel as a mission of Trinity Church in Hewlett, New York. Its name was changed to St. John's of Far Rockaway in 1881 when it became an independent parish. St. John's merged with Trinity Church in 1974 and the building was sold the following year to Beth-El Temple Church of God in Christ.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Yeshiva Darchei Torah (located in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York, United States) is a private Orthodox Jewish boys' school.

US Post Office-Far Rockaway is a historic post office building located at Far Rockaway in Queens County, New York, United States. It was built in 1935, and is one of six post offices in New York State designed by architect Eric Kebbon as a consultant to the Office of the Supervising Architect. It is a two-story brick building with limestone trim and a low granite base in the Colonial Revival style. Its main facade features a centrally placed polygonal shaped frontispiece with a rounded dome inspired by Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. It also has a grand entrance vestibule.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
