KLXB (105.1 FM) is a non-commercial radio station that is licensed to Bermuda Dunes, California and broadcasts to the Palm Springs radio market in the Coachella Valley. The station is owned by Educational Media Foundation and airs that company's contemporary Christian radio format known as "K-Love". KLXB is also heard on a translator station, K247CL (97.3 MHz) in Indio, California.

KRET-CD (channel 45) is a low-power, Class A television station licensed to Cathedral City, California, United States, serving the Palm Springs area as an affiliate of the home shopping network ShopHQ. The station is owned Bridge Media Networks.

KDES-FM (98.5 MHz) is a radio station in the Palm Springs area and the Coachella Valley of Southern California. KDES-FM began in 1957 on the AM dial at 920 kHz and was affiliated with ABC Radio. KDES-FM (then called KGEC) went on-air in 1963, then adopted the top 40/pop music format in 1975. It switched to an oldies format in 1988. The AM station dropped oldies in 1995, replacing them with news/talk KPSI. KDES-FM's studio headquarters are in Palm Springs. In the 2000s, KDES-FM's signal covers a 40-mile (64 km) radius area, from Beaumont to the Morongo Basin to the Imperial Valley. Around September–November 2005, KDES-FM shifted from conventional oldies (1950s–1960s) to more of a "Classic Hits" leaning oldies format by expanding its playlist to include more 1970s hits before ultimately excluding 1950s hits in January 2006. In January 2010, KDES-FM announced plans to move its oldies format to KWXY-FM's former frequency. At the same time, the station would incorporate 1980s hits into their playlist after sister-station KPSI-FM withdrew from playing 80s music. This decision brought an end to KWXY-FM's beautiful music format, which has moved to AM 1340. KDES vacated its original frequency of 104.7 on February 2. The frequency was sold and moved out of the market by its new owners. On September 9, 2015, shortly after being sold to Alpha Media, KDES-FM began simulcasting KDGL, with a change to Country as "98.5 The Bull" to follow the next day, launching with the usual 10,000 songs in a row, with the first song being "This Is How We Roll" by Florida-Georgia Line.

K21DO-D, virtual and UHF digital channel 21, is a low-powered, Class A 3ABN-affiliated television station licensed to Palm Springs, California, United States. Founded October 29, 1991, the station is owned by HC2 Holdings. The station was owned by 3ABN until 2017, when it was included in a $9.6 million sale of 14 stations to HC2 Holdings.

El Rancho Vista Estates is one of the recognized neighborhood in Palm Springs, California, located in northeast Palm Springs, just east of the Palm Springs International Airport, bound by Vista Chino to the north, Gene Autry Trail to the east, Chia Road to the south, and the airport property to the west. The neighborhood features homes designed by architects Donald Wexler and Richard Harrison, who were associated with the Desert Modernism architectural style. The neighborhood has been featured as part of the city's Modernism Week. In 2010, El Rancho Vista Estates is one of the 52 legally recognized neighborhoods in Palm Springs by the City of Palm Springs Office of Neighborhoods and is part of the Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs (ONE-PS).

KHCS (91.7 MHz) is a non-commercial educational FM radio station broadcasting a contemporary worship music format. Licensed to Palm Desert, California, United States, the station serves the Palm Springs area and can be heard from Banning to North Shore, over most of the Coachella Valley. KHCS airs the nationally syndicated Air1 worship music network around the clock. Prior to the station's sale to Educational Media Foundation in April 2018, KHCS was a contemporary inspirational-formatted station known as "Joy92". It was owned by Prairie Avenue Gospel Center and carried a variety of locally produced Christian programming as well as inspirational music.

KVPS-LD, virtual and VHF digital channel 8, is a low-powered NewsNet-affiliated television station licensed to Indio, California, United States. The station is owned by Esther Arenas. KVPS-LD's transmitter is located on Edom Hill in Cathedral City.

The Palm Springs Unified School District, or PSUSD, is one of three public education governing bodies in the Coachella Valley desert region of Southern California. PSUSD governs the western half of the valley; the Coachella Valley Unified School District and Desert Sands Unified School District oversee communities in the eastern half. Administrative offices are located in Palm Springs. The PSUSD was established in 1958 from the Palm Springs Public Schools, later included Palm Springs High School in the 1960s.

The Palm Springs Air Museum (PSAM), is a non-profit educational institution in Palm Springs, Riverside County, California. The Museum's mission is to exhibit, educate and eternalize the role of the World War II combat aircraft and the role the pilots and American citizens had in winning the war. In addition to flying aircraft, related artifacts, artwork, and library sources are used to perpetuate American history. It contains one of the world's largest collections of flying World War II warplanes, many of which were built in Southern California. Many of these aircraft have been used by motion picture companies in movies set during the second world war. Located on the north-east side of the Palm Springs International Airport, the Air Museum is housed in a new structure that includes three main display hangars, theater, gift shop, ramp and airport access for flight demonstrations and visiting planes, research library, simulator and education center. The airport covers 940 acres (380 ha) and has two runways. The facility operates year-round, with most flights occurring in the fall, winter, and spring. The airport was named as number 3 in a 2011 list of "America's Most Stress-Free Airports" by Smarter Travel.

KXPS (1010 AM) is a radio station licensed to Thousand Palms, California, United States. Its previous sports format had a lineup from a variety of sources: The Dan Patrick Show from Fox Sports Radio and The Jim Rome Show from CBS Sports Radio, with the remainder of their non-local programming coming from CBS Sports Radio. The station offers local programming during the weekdays with Pure Sports with Geoff "The Dome" Bloom, which airs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM PST, featuring co-host Barry Long.
