The Gottfried Gustav Pitz Barn in Cass County, Nebraska near Plattsmouth, Nebraska is a German banked barn built in 1883 by Gottfried Gustav Pitz. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.Pitz came to the United States from Germany in 1868, at age 19. He was a market gardener who brought produce into Plattsmouth and Omaha to sell.It is a one-and-a-half-story 16 by 16 feet (4.9 m × 4.9 m) plan barn, with a dry brick floor.It has also been known as the Pia-Muller Barn.It is located at 903 Livingston Rd.

The Cass County Courthouse in Plattsmouth, Nebraska was built in 1891. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.It was designed by architect William Gray. Built of brick, terra cotta, and stone, it is a two-story building, 80 by 102 feet (24 m × 31 m) in plan. It has a tall (135 feet (41 m)) central clock tower, and four corner towers, each with steep hipped roofs and elaborate ornamentation.

The George E. Dovey House, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska in Cass County, Nebraska, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.Also known as The Heights, it was built for businessman George E. Dovey around 1887. It is Queen Anne in style. Queen Anne features include its "steeply-pitched roof with intersecting, asymmetrical cross gables, multiple variations of spindle work throughout both the interior and exterior, a one-story veranda along the front elevation and wraps around to the side, and a rounded tower on a prominent corner of the house that extends past the roofline." Inside it has its "original hardwood floors, pocket doors, elaborate woodwork, and period-appropriate wallpaper." It was deemed significant as a local example "of a Late Victorian home in the Queen Anne subtype."It was listed along with the Velosco V. Leonard House, also in Plattsmouth.It is located at 423 N 4th St. in Plattsmouth.

The Velosco V. Leonard House, at 323. N 6th Street in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, was built in 1883 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. It was listed along with the George E. Dovey House, also in Plattsmouth.It was originally the home of photographer Velosco V. Leonard, whose studio is on the National Register within the Plattsmouth Main Street Historic District. The house was deemed significant "as a fine representation of a Late Victorian home in the Italianate style."

The Capt. John O'Rourke House, at 424 N 6th St. in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, was built in 1881. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.It is a two-story Italianate house, upon a full basement. It has a hipped roof with a deck with decorative iron cresting at the top of the roof. It has also been known as the Dugan House.It is also significant for association with Captain John O'Rourke, who was born in Limerick, Ireland in 1834. He served as Captain of the 11th Wisconsin Light Artillery Battery in the American Civil War.A "Captain John O'Rourke day" was declared by the City of Plattsburgh and held for the first time on June 10, 2006.

Plattsmouth High School is a public high school located in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, United States. It enrolls roughly 500 students. Its previous location was located on Main Street. It shared the building with the Middle School (located on the lower levels) until later moving into its next location (the building that is now the middle school) in the late 1970s. Plattsmouth High School has had its current location since January 1997.

Mid America Motorplex, now renamed Raceway Park of the Midlands (RPM), is an Alan Wilson-designed road circuit in the Omaha – Council Bluffs metropolitan area, in Plattville Township, Mills County, just outside Pacific Junction, Iowa. This facility includes a 2.23 mile road course and a 1/8-mile drag strip, known as I29 Dragway. It is a relatively safe track for people to learn to drive their cars at high-performance driving events. It is low-speed course (most cars under 300 bhp); maximum speeds are around 120 mph (190 km/h) with cornering speeds around 50 mph (80 km/h), with the exception of Turn 4 which is a fairly fast left-hander at around 80–100 mph. There is a motorbike school at the track as well as most local car clubs such as the PCA-run driving education sessions and BMW Iowa Chapter driving schools. Mid-America Motorplex has also served as a concert venue. It served as the venue for River Riot 2012, hosted by KIWR, which featured Incubus, Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch, After the Fall and Emphatic. It also served as the venue for Knotfest on August 17, 2012, which featured Slipknot, Deftones, and Serj Tankian.
