Primorsky District (Russian: Примо́рский райо́н "Seaside District") is a district of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 507,238; up from 393,960 recorded in the 2002 Census.

North-West Thermal Power Plant (Russian: Северо - Западная ТЭЦ) is a cogeneration power station (TETs) in Saint-Petersburg, owned by Inter RAO UES. This is a first power station in Russia to use combined cycle.

Olgino (Russian: О́льгино) is a historical area in Lakhta-Olgino Municipal Okrug of St. Petersburg, Russia, located south-west of the area of Lakhta and east of Lisy Nos. This part of the Neva Bay coast was owned in the mid-19th century by Count Stenbock-Fermor, of Swedish provenance, who bestowed upon it the name of his wife Olga. In the early 20th century, Olgino emerged as a prosperous dacha village north of the Russian capital. Among its inhabitants was the poet Korney Chukovsky. Olgino was incorporated into the city of Leningrad in January 1963. It's one of most luxurious and wealthiest neigbourhoods of St.Pertersburg it is considered St.Petersburg's equivalent of Rublyovka. Olgino is with Repino, Komarovo, and Leninskoe considered the most prestigious settlements within the district. There are plenty of luxury countryside estates here that can cost up to 159 million rubles or $2.3 million. The gated community of "Versailles North" is located on the district.

Lakhta railway station (Russian: Ста́нция Ла́хта) is a railway station in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was named after the historical district of Lakhta-Olgino Municipal Okrug. The station was built by JSC Prinorskaya St. Peterburg–Sestroretsk railway and it was opened on 12 July 1894 as part of the opening section between Uzlovaya and Lakhta. It was considered as a terminal until on 31 October 1894, the line was lengthened to Razdelnaya, what is now Lisy Nos railway station.

Yakhtennaya railway station (Russian: Платфо́рма Я́хтенная) is a railway station in Saint Petersburg, Russia, that opened in the 1990s. All trains that pass through this station stop at this station.

Lakhta (Russian: Ла́хта; Finnish: Lahti) is a historical area in Lakhta-Olgino Municipal Okrug of St. Petersburg, Russia, situated west of Lake Lakhta (hence the name). It was formerly owned by Peter the Great, Count Grigory Orlov, and Count Stenbock-Fermor (whose 19th-century residence survives). The Lakhta railway station of the Primorsky Railway connects Lakhta to Central Saint Petersburg. The historical area of Olgino lies south-west of Lakhta.

The Saint Petersburg Ring Road (Russian: Кольцевая автомобильная дорога вокруг Санкт-Петербурга) is a 142 km (88 mile) orbital freeway encircling Saint Petersburg, Russia. The city's only beltway, it is listed in the Russian road numbering system as federal public highway A-118.

Lake Lakhta (Russian: Лахтинский разлив; Lakhtinsky razliv; from Finnish lahti, 'gulf') is a lake (or inlet) in St. Petersburg's Primorsky District connected to the Neva Bay of the Baltic Sea by the 500-meter-long Bobylka River. The Kamenka, Glukharka and Yuntolovka rivers empty into the lake. Its area is 1.76 km², with the maximum depth of 8.3 meters. The lakeside village of Lakhta takes its name from the lake. Along the eastern shore extends the neighbourhood of Kolomäki. The lake belongs to the Yuntolovsky Reserve, zakaznik established in 1999 to conserve the nature of the nearby wetlands, providing, among other things, habitat for a significant population of the shrub Myrica gale, which is protected in Russia.

The Lakhta Centre (Russian: Ла́хта це́нтр, tr. Lahta tsentr) is an 87-story skyscraper built in the northwestern neighbourhood of Lakhta in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Standing 462 metres (1,516 ft) tall, it is the tallest building in both Russia and Europe, and the sixteenth-tallest building in the world. It is also the second-tallest structure in Russia and Europe, behind the Ostankino Tower in Moscow, in addition to being the second-tallest twisted building and the northernmost skyscraper in the world. Construction of the Lakhta Centre started on 30 October 2012, with the building topping out on 29 January 2018. It surpassed the Vostok Tower of the Federation Towers in Moscow as the tallest building in Russia and Europe on 5 October 2017. The centre is designed for large-scale mixed-use development, consisting of public facilities and offices. First designed by British architectural firm RMJM, the project was then continued by Gorproject (2011–2017) under the main contractor, Turkish company Rönesans Holding. On 24 December 2018, the Lakhta Centre was certified according to the criteria of ecological efficiency at LEED Platinum. In August 2021, Gazprom, formerly headquartered in Moscow, completed its re-registration process in Saint Petersburg. The new address of the company is at the Lakhta Center Multifunctional Complex.

The Volga–Baltic Waterway (Волгобалт), formerly known as the Mariinsk Canal System (Мариинская водная система), is a series of canals and rivers in Russia which link the Volga with the Baltic Sea via the Neva. Like the Volga–Don Canal, it connects the biggest lake on Earth, the Caspian Sea, to the World Ocean. Its overall length between Cherepovets and Lake Onega is 368 kilometres (229 mi). Originally constructed in the early 19th century, the system was rebuilt for larger vessels in the 1960s, becoming a part of the Unified Deep Water System of European Russia. The original name "Mariinsky" is the credit to Empress Maria Feodorovna, the second wife of Emperor Paul I of Russia.

Lisy Nos railway station (Russian: Ста́нция Ли́сий нос, lit. 'Fox Nose') is a railway station in Lisy Nos, St. Petersburg, Russia. It was built by the JSC Prinorskaya Saint Peterburg–Sestroretsk railway and opened on 31 October 1894 as part of the Primorskaya line Lakhta–Razdelnaya section, under the name "Razdelnaya". The station was renamed "Lisy Nos" in 1928, following the closure of the branch line to old Lisy Nos station which was on a landing stage on Kronstadt Bay.

The Saint Petersburg Flagpoles are the world's third tallest flagpoles at 175 m (574 ft 2 in) tall. Located at the Park of the 300th Anniversary of St Petersburg, near the Lakhta Center in Saint Petersburg, they were erected in June 2023. The flags are the current flag of the Russian Federation, the flag of the Russian Empire and the flag of the Soviet Union. The raising of the flags marked the following anniversaries: 330th anniversary of Peter the Great's tricolour 165 years of Tsar Alexander II's black-yellow-white flag 100 years of the institution of the red flag The project was implemented by majority state-owned Gazprom, which is headquartered nearby at the Lakhta Centre.
