Le Veau d'Or is an Upper East Side of Manhattan restaurant open since 1937 making it through oldest French bistro in NYC. Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson of Frenchette are the owners, since April 2019. Catherine Treboux was the previous owner. Her father, Robert Treboux, bought the restaurant in 1985. In 1968, Craig Claiborne of The New York Times gave the restaurant a four-star review.By 1980, their reputation had diminished. That year, The New York Times critic Moira Hodgson gave the restaurant a fair rating. On Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Bourdain was impressed with the breadth of their traditional menu. Catherine Treboux said appearing on the show helped their business.

535 Park Avenue is a pre-war cooperative apartment building located at the north-east corner of 61st Street and Park Avenue, in the Lenox Hill neighborhood of the Upper East Side in Manhattan. It was constructed in 1910 and was designed by architect Herbert Lucas.

The De La Salle Institute was a coed Catholic Church school which operated in Manhattan in New York City beginning in the 19th century. From 1902 it was located at 106 West 59th Street, running through to 107 West 58th Street. It fronted 59th Street for 53.5 feet (16.3 m) and faced Central Park. It had a depth of 200 feet (61 m), with 53 feet (16 m) on West 58th Street, and 71 feet (22 m) west on Sixth Avenue. In August 1912 the De La Salle Institute adjoined the German Club on West 59th Street and the Hotel Savilla on West 58th Street.

59th Street station is a unused station located in the Park Avenue Tunnel used by the Metro-North Railroad for all of its trains. The station was built by the New York Central & Hudson River Railroad as part of an agreement with New York City. The station was built during the late 1870s, although trains never stopped here. Currently, the station is used as an emergency exit for Metro-North Railroad in the Park Avenue Tunnel.

Trump Park Avenue is a residential building on the southern border of Lenox Hill at 502 Park Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. The 32-story building, designed by Goldner and Goldner in 1929, today contains 120 luxury condominium apartments and 8 penthouses converted by real estate developer Donald Trump. The structure was built as a skyscraper hotel. Originally named the Viceroy Hotel, it was renamed the Cromwell Arms, then the Hotel Delmonico. It was purchased in 1929 by New York investor Benjamin Winter, Sr.On August 28, 1964, Bob Dylan met The Beatles and Brian Epstein for the first time in their suite on the sixth floor where he introduced them to cannabis. 200,000 incoming calls were received by the hotel switchboard during their two-day stay. Fans stood eight-deep outside, held back by barricades, and the lobby and corridors were patrolled by police officers.The building was converted into apartments in 1974. In 1977, Christie’s leased the Hotel Delmonico’s grand ballroom on the second floor as its first international auction house. In 1990, real estate investor Sarah Korein converted it back to a hotel. Trump purchased the hotel from Korein's estate in 2001 for $115 million and hired architect Costas Kondylis to renovate it.From 1976 to the early 1990s, the current New York Sports Club’s ground floor location was home to Regine's, a restaurant lounge where many celebrities would meet before going to Studio 54. Andy Warhol was a regular. The building is also home to many of New York's finest established businesses, including Scully & Scully, that has occupied a storefront in the building since 1934.In 2011, Trump allegedly increased the rent of an apartment to $100,000 per month in order to keep Arianna Huffington out of the building. In 2019, the Trump Organization sued Prince Faisal bin Abdul Majeed al-Saud for $1.8 million in back rent.

The Argosy Book Store is New York City's oldest independent bookstore. Located at 116 East 59th Street in Midtown Manhattan, it occupies an entire six-story townhouse with various sales floors specializing in first editions, Americana, leather bindings, antique maps and prints, and autographs. The store, also noted for a wide selection of bargain books, has its own framing and shipping departments and owns a large warehouse in Brooklyn.

The Grolier Club is a private club and society of bibliophiles in New York City. Founded in January 1884, it is the oldest existing bibliophilic club in North America. The club is named after Jean Grolier de Servières, Viscount d'Aguisy, Treasurer General of France, whose library was famous; his motto, "Io. Grolierii et amicorum" [of or belonging to Jean Grolier and his friends], suggested his generosity in sharing books. The Club's stated objective is "the literary study of the arts pertaining to the production of books, including the occasional publication of books designed to illustrate, promote and encourage these arts; and the acquisition, furnishing and maintenance of a suitable club building for the safekeeping of its property, wherein meetings, lectures and exhibitions shall take place from time to time ..."

It is located at Lexington Avenue between 59th and 60th Streets, on the border of Midtown and the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The station complex is the fourteenth-busiest in the system, with over 21 million passengers in 2016.It is served by the 4, 6, and N trains at all times, the W train on weekdays, and the 5 and R trains at all times except late nights. In addition, the <6> express train stops here during weekdays in peak direction. A free out-of-system MetroCard/OMNY transfer is available to the 63rd Street Lines (F and Q trains, as well as rush-hour N and R trains) by exiting the station and walking to the Lexington Avenue–63rd Street station.

The building was funded through a US$450 million construction loan from The Children's Investment Fund. At 781 ft (238 m) tall, it is the 36th tallest building in New York, and the tallest on the Upper East Side.Arthur and William Lie Zeckendorf of Zeckendorf Development developed the building.
