Park Street Reserve is a public park located in the Melbourne suburb of Brunswick East. It was formerly an Australian rules football and cricket ground, known as the Park Street Oval.

Brunswick South Primary School (BSPS) is a government primary school located in Brunswick East, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The school was ear-marked by the Kennett state-government in the 1990s to be sold-off as being excess to requirements. The local community fought a strong campaign to successfully save the school. Brunswick East is an inner-city suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 5 km (3.1 mi) north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Merri-bek local government area. Brunswick East recorded a population of 13,279 at the 2021 census.Bordered generally by Lygon Street and Holmes Street in the west; the Merri Creek in the east adjoining Northcote; Park Street, Nicholson Street and Glenlyon Road in the south adjoining Carlton North and Fitzroy North; and Moreland Road in the north adjoining Coburg. Brunswick East is a mixed-use suburb, consisting of primarily residential and commercial properties.

The Inner Circle Line was a steam era suburban railway line (later electrified) in Melbourne, Australia. It served the inner-northern suburbs of Parkville, Carlton North, Fitzroy North and Fitzroy. At its closure, it ran from Royal Park station on the Upfield line in the west to a triangular junction with Rushall and Merri stations on today's Mernda line in the east. There was also a branch line to Fitzroy that opened at the same time.

North Carlton is a former railway station that was located on the Inner Circle railway line in Melbourne, Australia. It was located on Lang Street. The station was opened on 8 May 1885, and was originally known as Langridge-street and later Lang Street. It was closed to passengers in 1948, except for special events such as the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. The station building was used a residence by the former station master and his wife, Mr and Mrs Barnes, until the mid-1970s when it was vacated upon their deaths. The former station building is now used as North Carlton Station Neighbourhood House.

The Brunswick Road Iron Cottages are a series of four cottages, co-located between 181 and 189 Brunswick Road, in Brunswick, an inner northern suburb of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia. The series of four buildings were added to the Victorian Heritage Register on 11 April 1996 (#181, #183, #187) and 18 November 1987 (#189) in recognition of their architectural and historical significance. The buildings were also added to a non-statutory list by the Victorian branch of the National Trust on 4 December 1980.

Carlton North is an inner-city suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 4 km (2.5 mi) north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Cities of Melbourne and Yarra local government areas. Carlton North recorded a population of 6,177 at the 2021 census.The suburb is bordered by Princes Street and Cemetery Road to the south, Royal Parade to the west, Nicholson Street to the east and Park Street to the north. Carlton North is home to the Melbourne General Cemetery and the Princes Park, which contains the Princes Park Football Ground. Its main commercial area is along Rathdowne Street, which has numerous cafés, restaurants, small fashion boutiques, bookshops and other businesses. Today, Carlton North, like other inner-northern suburbs of Melbourne, contains a mixture of white-collar professionals, bureaucrats and academics. The area has become more gentrified than Fitzroy North, Brunswick or Collingwood, resulting in significantly higher median property prices.

Princes Hill is an inner-city suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 3 km (1.9 mi) north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Yarra local government area. Princes Hill recorded a population of 2,005 at the 2021 census.The suburb is named for Queen Victoria's consort, Prince Albert. Demographer Bernard Salt dubbed Princes Hill "Chick City" in 2003, after 2001 Census data revealed the suburb had the highest proportion of single women to men in Melbourne.

Princes Hill Secondary College is a coeducational state secondary school, located in Carlton North, an inner suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The school is 2 kilometres from the Melbourne City Centre.The school was formerly known as Princes Hill High School and prior to that, Princes Hill Central School. Princes Hill Secondary College is non-selective and accepts students from over 30 primary schools in the City of Yarra, City of Melbourne, City of Moreland and City of Darebin.

North Fitzroy tram depot was a depot on the Melbourne tram network. Located on Nicholson Street, North Fitzroy, it opened in 1956 when the Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board converted part of its North Fitzroy bus depot for tramway operation when the Bourke Street to Brunswick East line reopened. In 1976 it became a sub-unit of East Preston depot. It was the smallest tram depot in Melbourne.With the impending takeover of the Public Transport Corporation's bus services from the depot by the National Bus Company, it closed on 18 December 1993 with the remaining 10 trams that operated on route 96 reallocated to South Melbourne.It briefly reopened in 2008/09 to stable W class trams used on the City Circle while Southbank depot was undergoing refurbishment. In 2020 the tracks leading to the depot were disconnected during works along Nicholson Street.Immediately to the south is a Public Transport Victoria bus depot, operated since 2022 by Kinetic Melbourne.

The Empress Hotel (formerly the Empress of India Hotel) is a pub located at 714 Nicholson Street, in the inner Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy North. The Empress Hotel closed in December 2013, and reopened in its current form in early 2015.

The Albanian Mosque (Albanian: Xhami shqiptare), also known as the Albanian Australian Islamic Society Mosque and Carlton Mosque, is a mosque located in Carlton North, a suburb of inner Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The building contains a minaret, and community facilities. Associated with the Albanian Australian community, the mosque is owned by and the centre of the Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) of Victoria, whose membership numbers some 1000 people. Built in the late 1960s, the mosque is the oldest in Melbourne and listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
