Tenth Street is a street in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Hank McCamish Pavilion, nicknamed The Thrillerdome and originally known as Alexander Memorial Coliseum, is an indoor arena located on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. It is the home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball and Yellow Jackets women's basketball teams. The venue previously hosted the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1968 to 1972 and again from 1997 to 1999. Tech's women's volleyball team occasionally uses the facility as well, primarily for NCAA tournament games and other matches that draw crowds that would overflow the O'Keefe Gymnasium.

Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) is a state network of PBS member television stations and NPR member radio stations serving the U.S. state of Georgia. It is operated by the Georgia Public Telecommunications Commission, an agency of the Georgia state government which holds the licenses for most of the PBS and NPR member stations licensed in the state. The broadcast signals of the nine television stations and 19 radio stations cover almost all of the state, as well as parts of Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The network's headquarters and primary radio and television production facilities are located on 14th Street in Midtown Atlanta, just west of the Downtown Connector in the Home Park neighborhood. The facility and GPB are also a major part of Georgia's film and television industry, and in addition to commercial production occurring at the GPB facilities, some production companies also rent production offices from GPB.

Williams Street Productions, LLC, d/b/a Williams Street and formerly known as Ghost Planet Industries, is an American animation and live action television production studio owned by the Warner Bros. Television Studios division of Warner Bros., a unit of Warner Bros. Discovery. The studio is the in-house production arm of Adult Swim (the programming block on Cartoon Network). Mike Lazzo and Keith Crofford oversaw operations for the building for most of its existence. On December 16, 2019, co-founder Lazzo retired from the company, with business partner and co-founder Crofford retiring the following year. Michael Ouweleen was named president in 2020.

The Roger A. and Helen B. Krone Engineered Biosystems Building (EBB) is an interdisciplinary facility on the North side of the campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. EBB is a hub for collaboration between researchers in the fields of Chemical Biology, Cell Therapies and Systems Biology, and it houses labs and offices for nearly 40 researchers. A notable occupant of the building is the Children's Pediatric Technology Center. A primary design requirement of the 218,880 square feet (20,335 m2) building was to foster interaction between two colleges of Georgia Tech: the College of Engineering and the College of Science. The building opened on 11 September 2015, with major funding for its development and construction provided by a gift from Roger Krone and his wife Helen Krone.

The Turner Broadcasting tower was a 314.3-meter (1,031 ft) free-standing lattice tower in Atlanta, Georgia. It was located next to the Downtown Connector between Spring, West Peachtree, 10th and 12th Streets in Midtown. The tower had a triangular cross-section and was built on the site of a previous four-sided broadcast tower built for WAGA-TV 5 and to serve WJRJ-TV which was founded by Rice Broadcasting Inc. which was owned by a local Atlanta entrepreneur, Jack M. Rice, Jr. It is the tallest freestanding structure to ever be voluntarily removed in the United States and second tallest in the world.

The Frank H. Neely Nuclear Research Center, also known as the Neely Research Reactor and the Georgia Tech Research Reactor was a nuclear engineering research center on the Georgia Institute of Technology campus, which housed a 5 megawatt heavy water moderated and cooled research reactor from 1961 until 1995. It was decommissioned in November 1999. The building that housed the reactor was demolished to make way for the Marcus Nanotechnology Research Center. The center is named for Frank H. Neely, a Georgia Tech graduate and businessman who organized the first Georgia Nuclear Advisory Commission, an essential step in the creation of the reactor and associated facilities.

The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering is a department in the Emory University School of Medicine, Georgia Institute of Technology's College of Engineering, and Peking University College of Engineering dedicated to the study of and research in biomedical engineering, and is named after the pioneering engineer and Georgia Tech alumnus Wallace H. Coulter. The graduate program has consistently ranked 2nd in USNWR rankings, while the undergraduate program ranks 1st in USNWR rankings.

Home Park is a neighborhood of Atlanta in Georgia, US. It is bordered on the south by Georgia Tech, on the west by the railroad yards adjacent to Marietta Street and Brady Avenue, on the north by 16th Street at Atlantic Station, and on the east by Techwood Drive at I-75/85 (the Downtown Connector). The neighborhood is known as West Midtown Atlanta since it lies on the west side of the Downtown Connector. The residential district is bordered by Northside Drive, Techwood Drive, 10th Street, and 16th Street. This section is also home to the media organizations CBS Atlanta WGCL-TV, Georgia Public Broadcasting and Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. The commercial district is west of Northside Drive over to Marietta Street and Brady Avenue. It has retail and services, design firms, art galleries, restaurants and an expanding residential section along Howell Mill Road.

Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium is a college baseball stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. It has been the home field of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets college baseball team since 1930. The current stadium opened in 2002.

1072 West Peachtree Street is an under-construction mixed-use skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is jointly developed by the Rockefeller Group, Taisei Corporation and Mitsubishi Estate is expected to be complete in 2026. Located on Peachtree Street, the building will be the fifth-tallest building in Atlanta.

On May 3, 2023, a mass shooting occurred at a Northside Hospital facility in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Five people were shot, one fatally and three critically, before a male suspect, Deion Patterson, fled the scene. He was apprehended eight hours later and charged with one count of murder and four counts of aggravated assault.
