The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, a western, historical museum in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, "honors those men and women who have shown excellence in the business and support of rodeo and the western lifestyle in Texas."The Hall of Fame includes over 125 cowboys and cowgirls, each of whom has a booth to display personal memorabilia. The museum, located in Historic Barn A, is also home to The Sterquell Wagon Collection, John Justin Trail of Fame, Chisholm Trail Exhibit, The Applewhite-Clark Exhibit, Adventures of the Cowboy Trail, Zigrang Horse Bit Collection, Amon G. Carter's 1933 Cadillac and The Jersey Lilly Old-Tyme Photo Parlour.The Hall of Fame was established in 1997 and its original purpose was to recognize excellent horsemen and women. In 2001, the hall moved to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. Today the hall recognizes individuals from all facets of rodeo and western lifestyle. The building housing it is one of the horse and mule barns in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Originally built in 1888, they housed over 3,000 horses and mules. The original wooden ones that stood in this location were lost March 14, 1911, when a spark from a passing train ignited a fire. They were rebuilt and completed in March 1912 and considered the first "fireproof" ones. The bricks, columns, metal doors, catwalks, and cinder blocks are all original architecture. The Hall of Fame is located in the heart of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

A 98-acre (40 ha) portion encompassing much of the district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District in 1976. Oakwood Cemetery is a historic cemetery in the city of Fort Worth, Texas. Deeded to the city in 1879, it is the burial place of local prominent local citizens, pioneers, politicians, and performers. Located at 701 Grand Avenue, Oakwood is a 62-acre cemetery on the north side of the Trinity River, just across the river from downtown Fort Worth. The cemetery is actually composed of three historically distinct cemeteries divided along racial and religious lines: New City Cemetery, the oldest section historically limited to white burials; Trinity Cemetery, designated for African-American burials; and Calvary Cemetery, a section specifically for Catholic burials.The cemetery was designated a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018 and a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1966. One grave site within the cemetery is also designated separately as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark since 1983.

Grand Avenue Historic District is a platted community located in north Fort Worth, Texas. It sits two miles northwest of the Tarrant County Courthouse. The subdivision was platted in 1888. It comprises the western edge of the original subdivision of North Fort Worth where the street curves along the bluffs above the West Fork of the Trinity River. The district encompasses the properties on both sides of Grand Avenue for approximately seven blocks. It was added to the National Register on March 1, 1990.

LaGrave Field is an abandoned baseball park in Fort Worth, Texas. It was primarily used for baseball and was the home field of the Fort Worth Cats independent minor league baseball team. Its original version was the home of the predecessor Panthers/Cats team of the Texas League from 1926–1958; the American Association in 1959; and then in the Texas League again in 1964. It also served as the part-time home of the Dallas Rangers during 1960–1962. The ballpark was rebuilt during 2001 and opened in 2002 after the club played one season at Lon Goldstein Field. The ballpark sits on land bounded by a parking lot and then North Calhoun Street (southwest, first base); Northeast 6th Street (if extended) (southeast, right field); Northeast 7th Street (if extended) (northwest, third base); and the banks of a branch of the Trinity River (northeast, left field). The imaginary line running from home plate through second base runs roughly east-southeast. During the team's inaugural 2014 season, LaGrave Field hosted home games for the Fort Worth Vaqueros FC of the National Premier Soccer League.

The Vintage Flying Museum is a non-profit aviation museum located at Meacham International Airport, Fort Worth, Texas. The primary mission of the museum is to preserve America's flying heritage in word, deed and action. Also located at the museum is Greatest Generation Aircraft, the Invader Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force, the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Rosie the Riveter Association and PGM Aviation.
