Hill-Murray School is a coeducational private Catholic school serving grades 6–12. It is located on a 40-acre (16 ha) site in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States, a suburb of Saint Paul. Located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, it was established in 1971 as a result of the consolidation of Archbishop Murray Memorial High School and Hill High School. Archbishop Murray was founded in 1958 by the Benedictine Sisters as a school for young women. Hill High was established in 1959 by the Christian Brothers as a school for young men. The Middle School was added in 1989. The student population is drawn from the Twin Cities, surrounding suburban areas, and nearby Wisconsin communities. Hill-Murray is one of only twenty-one Minnesota high schools accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

KTIS (900 AM) is a radio station based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, owned and operated by University of Northwestern - St Paul. It is a non-profit, listener-supported radio station relying on donations from the local community throughout the year. KTIS's studios are located on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul, while its transmitter is located in the Hazel Park neighborhood of Oakdale. The station broadcasts throughout the midwest. KTIS is the flagship station of Faith Radio, a network whose programming features mainly Christian talk and teaching, with programs such as Susie Larson Live with Susie Larson; Focus on the Family; Family Life Today with Dave and Anne Wilson; Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll; Living on the Edge with Chip Ingram; In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley; and others. Programming is nearly 100 percent satellite deliverable and produced by Northwestern Media.

Minnesota's 4th congressional district covers nearly all of Ramsey County, and part of Washington County. It includes all of St. Paul, and most of its northern and eastern suburbs. The district is solidly Democratic, with a CPVI of D+17. It is currently represented by Betty McCollum, of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL). The DFL has held the seat without interruption since 1949, and all but one term (1947-1949) since the merger of the Democratic and Farmer-Labor Parties.

The East Side Review was an American, English language newspaper headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, until publication ceased in September 2019. While it was published, it was the only neighborhood-focused, general-interest weekly newspaper in either Minneapolis or St. Paul.

North Saint Paul (abbreviated North St. Paul) is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States, located east-northeast of the city of Saint Paul. The population was 12,364 at the 2020 census.North Saint Paul is a distinct city, and not a neighborhood of nearby Saint Paul. This fact also contributes to a major difference from typical suburbs; rather than being composed of new developments and urban sprawl, many of the structures in town are older, including a downtown area of brick storefronts. On the east side of the Margaret Street bridge over Minnesota State Highway 36 resides the 20-ton North Saint Paul Snowman. As the official city logo of North Saint Paul, it was constructed on Margaret and 7th Streets from 1971 to 1974 by Lloyd Koesling and moved to its current location in 1990.

North High School is a public 9-12 high school located in North Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It is one of two high schools in the ISD 622 District. The other high school in ISD 622 is Tartan Senior High School in Oakdale, Minnesota.

The St. Paul Minnesota Temple is the 69th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It is located in Oakdale, Minnesota, United States, a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota, and is the first temple of the LDS Church to be built in the state. The site of the St. Paul Minnesota Temple is also the site of a stake center, a larger meetinghouse for the members of the LDS Church. The temple is situated on a wooded 7.5-acre (3.0 ha) site. The building itself features a single spire and is covered with a light gray granite veneer.

Minneapolis Japanese School (MJS; ミネアポリス日本語補習授業校 Mineaporisu Nihongo Hoshū jugyō kō) is a Japanese weekend school in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.It is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to teach Pre-K through 12th Grade children the Japanese language, culture and traditions in order to enrich cross-cultural skills. Classes are currently held on Saturdays at Mounds Park Academy in Maplewood, Minnesota. The mailing address is in Woodbury.The school previously held its classes at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis.As of 2011 the school engages in fundraising during the annual Lantern Lighting Festival.

Mounds Park Academy (MPA), founded in 1982, is an independent, PreK-12, co-educational, college preparatory day school in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States, serving students from throughout the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area. The school is accredited by and is a member of the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. It is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and The College Board. The school is a 246,000-square-foot (22,900 m2) facility, on a campus of more than 32 acres (130,000 m2).

The Gateway State Trail is a multi-use recreational rail trail in the U.S. state of Minnesota, running 18 miles (29 km) from Saint Paul to Pine Point Regional Park in Stillwater. It runs through urban landscapes of eastern Saint Paul in Ramsey County and rural farmland and forests in Washington County. It was designated a National Recreation Trail in 2002.The trail is open to walking, jogging, cycling, inline skating, and roller skiing during the summer. A side trail is designed for horseback riding. During the winter separate sections invite snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Both horseback riding and cross-country skiing require permits from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

The Ramsey County Poor Farm Barn served as home and work for the indigent in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The barn is now used by the Ramsey County Cooperative extension service. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The second floor housed the Ramsey County Fright Farm, a popular haunted attraction, from 1996 through 2020.

Tartan Senior High School is a public secondary school in Oakdale, Minnesota, United States. It is a member of Independent School District 622. Since its opening in 1971, Tartan has grown to more than 1,800 students supported by 120-plus teachers, administrators, aides, custodians, administrative assistants and other support staff. Tartan offers a comprehensive academic program consisting of core courses as well as a wide range of electives in the fine arts, industrial technologies, business education, world languages and cultures, and others. The school mascot is the Titan and its colors are Black, Silver, White and Royal Blue.
