The European College of Business and Management (ECBM) was established in 1988 and is the training arm of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) in London. It is located in the heart of London. The ECBM provides international accredited business and management programmes. It has developed various partnerships with Chambers of Commerce within Europe and is supported by companies. ECBM specialises in providing opportunities for the German market, based on programmes offered by its partner universities in the UK.

Respect is a UK-based charity working in the area of domestic violence. A national organisation based in London, it provides services, including helplines, for male and female perpetrators of domestic violence, for male victims of domestic violence, and for young people who are violent in the home or relationships. It provides confidential counselling to perpetrators of domestic violence as a way to promote the safety of victims. It has been described as "the main UK organisation working with domestic violence perpetrators".

The Foundry was a bar and venue on Great Eastern Street at the junction with Old Street in Shoreditch, London. It was owned and run by Jonathan and Tracey Moberly. Bill Drummond, co-founder of The KLF, helped set up the Foundry. It had a basement which hosted art, music and poetry events. A weekly radio show, the foundry late late breakfast show, was broadcast live from the Foundry on Resonance 104.4 FM. The bar closed down in 2010, as the building's owner intended to redevelop the whole block to include a 350-room hotel. The Foundry's manager is said to be looking to move to another location, possibly nearby.

The Royal Drawing School is a not-for-profit educational organisation and registered charity in the London Borough of Hackney in England. It was founded in 2000 by Charles, Prince of Wales, and artist Catherine Goodman as The Prince's Drawing School and received its current name in 2014.The School runs full and part-time drawing courses each year for adults and children of all abilities. This includes a postgraduate programme, The Drawing Year, a Foundation Year, public programme and courses for Young Artists aged 10 – 18 yrs. It is part of The Prince's Charities, a group of not-for-profit organizations affiliated with Charles. In 2006, The Prince's Drawing School received a donation of £85,000 from The Prince's Charities Foundation. In 2018, works created by The Royal Drawing School and two other charities founded by Prince Charles were put on display during the Prince & Patron exhibition to mark his 70th birthday.

Old Street is a 1-mile (1.6 km) street in inner north-east Central London that runs west to east from Goswell Road in Clerkenwell, in the London Borough of Islington, via St Luke's and Old Street Roundabout, to the crossroads where it meets Shoreditch High Street (south), Kingsland Road (north) and Hackney Road (east) in Shoreditch in the London Borough of Hackney. It has London Underground station Old Street on the Northern line which has other platforms for National Rail's Northern City Line. Its west half is inside London's Congestion Charging Zone; a short part of its eastern half is the inner ring marking its limit.

The Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts is a school in London which teaches students at the postgraduate degree level, and short open courses and in the community. The school was founded in 2005 by the Prince of Wales as part of The Prince's Charities group, with the aim "to continue the living traditions of the world's sacred and traditional art forms".

Plates is a Michelin-starred vegan restaurant in the Shoreditch neighbourhood of London, United Kingdom. The restaurant opened in 2024 and found immediate success with significant demand. It first achieved a Michelin-star in 2025 making it the first vegan restaurant in the UK to achieve such an award.

Islam Channel is a UK-based, free-to-air, English language, Islamic-focused satellite television channel and online media platform funded by advertising and donations. It was founded in 2004 by Mohamed Ali Harrath (born 1963), a Tunisian activist and businessman; his son, Mohamed Harrath, is now its Chief Executive Officer. It was reported in 2008 that UK government research found that 59% of British Muslims watched the channel. It broadcasts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and is streamed live on the internet. Islam Channel began broadcasting in March 2004 on Sky Digital channel 836, but subsequently moved to channel 813, then 806, now 737. In April 2010, it launched on Freesat channel 693. In 2015, Islam Channel Urdu was launched. In 2017 both channels launched on Virgin Media; Islam Channel can be watched on 838 and Islam Channel Urdu on 839.In 2021 Islam Channel launched new apps to offer enhanced VOD and live-streaming services.Since its launch, the channel has expanded its range of programming, including programmes regarding current affairs, education, Islamic values, Islamic doctrine, entertainment, lifestyle and children’s programming as well as domestic, financial and community related topics.In March 2021, Islam Channel became a BARB reported channel and in April 2021, based on an analysis of BARB data, it was reported to be the top channel watched by British Asians during the first week of Ramadan.

The Stuckism International Gallery was the gallery of the Stuckist art movement. It was open from 2002 to 2005 in Shoreditch, and was run by Charles Thomson, the co-founder of Stuckism. It was launched by a procession carrying a coffin marked "The death of conceptual art" to the neighbouring White Cube gallery. The gallery staged group and solo shows of Stuckist paintings, and displayed a preserved shark as a challenge to Damien Hirst and Charles Saatchi. The premises were taken over by La Viande gallery, which shut in 2008.

The Theatre was an Elizabethan playhouse in Shoreditch (in Curtain Road, part of the modern London Borough of Hackney), just outside the City of London. It was the first permanent theatre ever built in England. It was built in 1576 after the Red Lion, and the first successful one. Built by actor-manager James Burbage, near the family home in Holywell Street, The Theatre is considered the first theatre built in London for the sole purpose of theatrical productions. The Theatre's history includes a number of important acting troupes including the Lord Chamberlain's Men, which employed Shakespeare as actor and playwright. After a dispute with the landlord, the theatre was dismantled and the timbers used in the construction of the Globe Theatre on Bankside.

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) is a British child protection charity founded as the Liverpool Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (LSPCC) by Thomas Agnew on 19 April 1883. The NSPCC lobbies the government on issues relating to child welfare, and creates child abuse public awareness campaigns. Since the 1980s, the charity has had statutory powers allowing it to apply for help on behalf of children at risk. In the 1990s, the charity's publication, Satanic Indicators, fuelled panic in social workers who went and accused parents and removed children from homes when they should not have. It also operates a telephone help line. The Paddington Bear character has partnered with the charity to raise funds.
