Bond Lake (Ontario) is a 55-acre (22 ha) glacial kettle lake in the Oak Ridges Moraine. It is located on the east side of Yonge Street in the north end of Richmond Hill, Ontario.

It encompasses a portion of Ontario previously included in the electoral districts of Newmarket—Aurora, Oak Ridges—Markham, and Richmond Hill.Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the dropping of the writs for the 2015 federal election.

Oak Ridges is an unincorporated community of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, and has been part of the city since 1971. It forms the northern portion of the municipality's boundary, where it borders Aurora. Located about 20 km north of the northern border of Toronto and about 35 km from Downtown Toronto, it has a population of 18,520 (2016). The community developed around Lake Wilcox, the largest lake in the area, and has continued to expand slowly since its annexation by the Town (now City) of Richmond Hill. In the 1990s, Oak Ridges experienced moderate growth, which spurred environmental action by numerous organizations. Population has grown significantly as a result of development initiatives along Bayview Avenue. The Oak Ridges Community Center was built and completed in June 2012 to accommodate community demand.It is located north of the main urban area of Richmond Hill (which begins just south of Lake Wilcox), east of King City, immediately south of Aurora, and west of Whitchurch-Stouffville. Oak Ridges can sometimes be considered separate from Richmond Hill, given the differences in current and future development patterns and plans and a large natural area forming a physical separation between Oak Ridges and urban Richmond Hill.

Temperanceville is an unincorporated community in the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada, straddling two geopolitical jurisdictions, King and Richmond Hill. It is located at the southeastern edge of King and northwestern part of Richmond Hill, east of King City and adjacent to the western part of Oak Ridges. The settlement became home to James and Mary Love in 1804, the former being a cobbler and farmer who was also a teetotaler.: 104  Their home would be used for church services, leading to the settlement being named 'Love's Corner'.: 104  The settlement also had an active temperance movement, with at least five temperance societies active in the area by the 1890s.: 104  Its name was changed in the early 1900s when the prohibition campaign became popular through the promotion of 'temperance values'. This campaign would later help cripple the hotel industry in the area. Temperanceville would grow to boast a post office, several businesses, and a market. Today, the most popular part of Temperanceville is the Temperanceville Park, which now has ample parking, a soccer field, and a large children's play area. In King Township, it is part of electoral Ward 1.

Académie de la Moraine is a French first language elementary school located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. It serves the French population of the GTA. If the French language is not the student's first language, an admission test can be taken, to allow the enrollment. The school also offers busing for students that requires said service. Its former location was 13200 Yonge Street in Richmond Hill. However, after George Street P.S. closed, Moraine took up its space. George St P.S students went to Aurora Senior/Wellington P.S. Nonetheless, in 2019, after remodelling, reconstruction, and upgrading the school facilities, the school has returned to its previous address — 13200 Yonge Street. In the past, the school have had some split classes, such as a class with both grade 5 and 6 at the same time.

Mon Sheong Foundation Chinese School is a fee-operated private school, with focus on promoting Chinese culture, heritage, and philosophy. The MSFCS was created in 1968 by the Mon Sheong Foundation in Toronto and uses Cantonese/Putonghua as the language of instruction. Today MSFCS offers additional programs including: Chinese (Cantonese) Program for children over the age of 3 Chinese (Putonghua) Program for children over the age of 3 Conversational Putonghua Program Mathematics Program for grades 1 to 12Programs run on Friday evenings and Saturdays from September to May. Instructors are mainly college graduates from Hong Kong, China and Canada.

St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic High School is a Catholic high school in Richmond Hill, a suburb of the Greater Toronto Area in Canada. The school is named after St. Theresa of Lisieux. The school was founded by the York Catholic District School Board in 2002. The first graduating class was that of 2005. The graduating class of 2006 was the first class to have gone through all four grades at this school. The school team name is The Lions, with the mascot being Roary the Lion. St. Theresa's athletics offers a wide variety of sports and other recreational events held throughout the school year. St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic High School also offers the AP (Advanced Placement) and pre-AP program for students. Students in this regular program have the opportunity to participate in differentiated courses in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences.

The Loyal True Blue and Orange Home is a Colonial Revival architecture building located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, a city located north of Toronto. It has served a variety of purposes over the years, including an orphanage, school, and center for mental healthcare, among others. The original property covered 2 blocks, but parts of the land have been sold off over the years and other buildings were built, including 2 seniors homes. The building is included in the Town of Richmond Hill's Inventory of Cultural Heritage Resources.The building was originally built by William H. Graham in 1901 to be used as an orphanage, and opened in 1923. H.C. Hocken laid the cornerstone. It was founded to take care of underprivileged or orphaned Protestant children. The Home was founded by the Loyal True Blue Association and the Orange Order in Canada. The orphans had to wear specific uniforms so everyone could identify the children as orphans. In 1982 the orphanage was abolished and the children moved to foster care programs. In the same year the building was extended. The Loyal True Blue And Orange Home had to rent rooms to people from the community. Many different organizations operate as part of the home, including the St. John Ambulance, Century Montessori School, The Learning Disabilities Association. Century Montessori School came to The Loyal True Blue And Orange Home in 1994 and in 1997 the first students arrived. The school's name references the educational methods inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori. Her philosophy of education emphasizes student freedom with logical guidelines. The school is funded solely by tuition fees paid by the parents. The basement has a lab, two gyms, a music room and three classrooms.

Richmond Hill High School is a secondary school located in the City of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. It is the second oldest high school in York Region Municipality (and behind Newmarket High School c. 1843), being established in the mid-19th century. The school is a host to several regional special education programs, including an Advanced Placement Program, Alternative Education Program, Cooperative Education Program, Developmentally-Delayed Program, and an Orthopedic Program. The school has a small gifted program along with all other secondary schools in York Region.In the 2016-2017 Fraser Institute rankings, Richmond Hill ranked 19th in the province of Ontario and 7th in York Region, with an overall score of 8.7/10.

Bernard Terminal is a small bus station in York Region, Ontario, Canada, located at 11000 Yonge Street. It is on the west side of a mall on the southeast corner of Bernard Avenue and Yonge Street in the town of Richmond Hill, Ontario, one city block north of Elgin Mills Road. It replaced the previous bus loop at the north end of the Richmond Heights Centre, that was used after the former Toronto Transit Commission loop was replaced by GO Transit Yonge 'C' Buses in the 1970s, until the late 1990s. The bus terminal land, formerly owned by the Town of Richmond Hill, was conveyed to York Region in 2005, since the responsibility for public transit now belonged to the Region.It presently serves York Region Transit (YRT) routes 81 (Inspiration), 83 (Trench), 86 (Newkirk-Red Maple), 98 (Yonge), and 99 (Yonge), Viva Blue service; previously other routes served this stop, including the 84A/C Oak Ridges route. During the first and second stages of Viva's launch (launched on September 4, 2005, and October 16, 2005, respectively), Bernard Terminal served as the northernmost last stop of the Viva Blue line. On November 20, 2005, the line was extended northward to Newmarket Bus Terminal, relegating Bernard to a large intermediate stop. Currently, half of the Viva Blue buses from Finch Bus Terminal short turns here. The terminal consists of a series of partially covered platforms, Viva kiosk and fenced off driveway.

Lake Wilcox is a kettle lake in the Oak Ridges neighbourhood of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. The lake measures 1.5 kilometers across and covers 55.6 hectares or 0.55 square kilometres, making it the largest kettle lake on the Oak Ridges Moraine. Lake Wilcox, Lake St. George and their associated wetlands form a "provincially significant wetland".The lake is named after William Willcocks (1735/36-1813), who was a merchant in York, Upper Canada and became mayor of Cork, Ireland in 1793 (after his return from Upper Canada). Willcocks and his family moved to Upper Canada, where his cousin Peter Russell became interim administrator after the departure of John Graves Simcoe in 1796. Willcocks "was an active land speculator" who acquired significant holdings in Upper Canada, including 800 acres (3.2 km2) surrounding the lake. The name of the lake was originally Lake Willcocks, but it was corrupted over time to its present spelling.Willcocks resided in York and Markham, but died in the former in 1813.
