Molesworth Street (Irish: Sráid Theach Laighean, meaning 'Leinster House Street') is a street in Dublin, Ireland named after Richard Molesworth, 3rd Viscount Molesworth and links the more notable Dawson Street with Kildare Street and lies just over 200 m to the north of St. Stephens Green in Dublin's central business district.

Nassau Street (; Irish: Sráid Thobar Phádraig, meaning 'St. Patrick's Well Street') is a street in central Dublin, running along the south side of Trinity College. It goes from Grafton Street in the west to the junction of South Leinster Street and Kildare Street in the east.

Dawson (Irish: Dásain) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2017 as the first stop on Luas Cross City, an extension of the Green Line through the city centre from St. Stephen's Green to Broombridge. It is located on Dawson Street and provides access to the Grafton Street shopping district, the seat of the legislature at Leinster House on Kildare Street, St. Ann's Church, the Kerlin Gallery, Mansion House (the Lord Mayor's residence), and the National Library of Ireland. Its side platforms are integrated into the pavement.

Hodges Figgis is a bookshop located on Dawson Street in Dublin. Founded in 1768, it was moved and expanded numerous times until 1992, when it settled into its current location at 56-58 Dawson Street. It is given a passing mention in James Joyce's modernist novel Ulysses, where it would have been situated at 104 Grafton Street.The shop briefly housed a coffee shop on the first floor, but this was removed in 2002 during renovations to expand the space used for the shelving of stock. Hodges Figgis also operate the student bookshop in Dublin City University.For some time in the late 19th and in the 20th century, the company also published a number of books, often on Irish topics.Hodges Figgis is now owned by Waterstones, and operates as an integral part of the group, with the exception of operating its own loyalty stamp scheme instead of the Waterstones Plus card. It was the second highest performing store in the chain in 2015 and 2018 only outstripped by Waterstones flagship store in Piccadilly. Waterstones do operate a limited number of other stores in Ireland; but closed their other Dublin stores - which included one directly opposite Hodges Figgis - in 2011.It has been mentioned in The Wall Street Journal as well as popular works of fiction like "Conversations with Friends".

Independent College Dublin was established in Dublin in 2007. The college was founded by the Independent News & Media plc group, with facilities on Dawson Street in Dublin city centre.

The Douglas Hyde Gallery is a publicly funded contemporary art gallery situated within the historical setting of Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.When the Gallery opened in 1978, it was for a number of years Ireland's only public gallery of contemporary art. Today, in an abundance of smaller galleries and exhibition spaces in Dublin, The Douglas Hyde Gallery continues to sustain its reputation for holding exhibitions by some of the most established and well-regarded Irish and international artists working today. Dawson Street (; Irish: Sráid Dásain) is a street on the southern side of central Dublin, running from St Stephen's Green to the walls of Trinity College Dublin. It is the site of the residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin, the Mansion House.

The Oireachtas of the Irish Free State (Irish: Oireachtas Shaorstát Éireann) was the legislature of the Irish Free State from 1922 until 1937. It was established by the 1922 Constitution of Ireland which was based from the Anglo-Irish Treaty. It was the first independent Irish Parliament officially recognised outside Ireland since the historic Parliament of Ireland which was abolished with the Acts of Union 1800. The Parliament was bicameral, consisting of Dáil Éireann (the lower house, also known as the Dáil) with 153 seats and Seanad Éireann (the upper house; also known as the Seanad) with 60 seats). The Seanad was abolished on 29 May 1936, and from then until its abolition the Oireachtas was unicameral. The King, who was officially represented by the Governor-General, was also a constituent part of the Oireachtas. The Oireachtas of the Irish Free State was disbanded by the 1937 Constitution of Ireland which created the modern Oireachtas. Like the modern Oireachtas, the Free State legislature was dominated by the directly elected Dáil. Unlike the modern body, the Free State Oireachtas had authority to amend the constitution as it saw fit, without recourse to a referendum. During the Free State it was also the Oireachtas as a whole, rather than the Dáil, that had authority to commit the state to war, although this distinction was not significant in practice.
