South Frederick Street (Irish: Sráid Fhreidric Theas) is a Georgian street in Dublin, Ireland which connects Nassau Street with Molesworth Street. The street is intersected by Setanta Place and is connected via a covered arch laneway to Dawson Lane.

The Douglas Hyde Gallery is a publicly funded contemporary art gallery situated within the historical setting of Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.When the Gallery opened in 1978, it was for a number of years Ireland's only public gallery of contemporary art. Today, in an abundance of smaller galleries and exhibition spaces in Dublin, The Douglas Hyde Gallery continues to sustain its reputation for holding exhibitions by some of the most established and well-regarded Irish and international artists working today. The Douglas Hyde Gallery consists of two exhibition spaces that are used to show concurrent exhibitions, which often have a relating theme or tone. In 2017 Georgina Jackson was appointed director, taking "over from John Hutchinson who was director for 25 years."

Independent College Dublin is a college in Dublin, Ireland which offers courses at certificate, diploma, degree, and postgraduate levels, along with professional development courses. Independent College Dublin was established in Dublin in 2007. The college was founded by the Independent News & Media plc group, with facilities on Dawson Street in Dublin city centre.

The Library of Trinity College Dublin (Irish: Leabharlann Choláiste na Tríonóide) serves Trinity College and the University of Dublin. It is a legal deposit or "copyright library", under which, publishers in Ireland must deposit a copy of all their publications there, without charge.It is the only Irish library to hold such rights for works published in the United Kingdom. The Library is the permanent home to the Brian Boru harp which is a national symbol of Ireland, a copy of 1916 Proclamation of the Irish Republic, and the Book of Kells. One of the four volumes of the Book of Kells is on public display at any given time. The volumes and pages shown are regularly changed; a new display case installed in 2020 will allow all pages to be displayed including many not seen in public for several decades. Members of the University of Dublin also have access to the libraries of Tallaght University Hospital and the Irish School of Ecumenics, Milltown.

Dawson (Irish: Dásain) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2017 as the first stop on Luas Cross City, an extension of the Green Line through the city centre from St. Stephen's Green to Broombridge. It is located on Dawson Street and provides access to the Grafton Street shopping district, the seat of the legislature at Leinster House on Kildare Street, St. Ann's Church, the Kerlin Gallery, Mansion House (the Lord Mayor's residence), and the National Library of Ireland. Its side platforms are integrated into the pavement.

Hodges Figgis is a bookshop located on Dawson Street in Dublin. Founded in 1768, it was moved and expanded numerous times until 1992, when it settled into its current location at 56-58 Dawson Street. It is given a passing mention in James Joyce's modernist novel Ulysses, where it would have been situated at 104 Grafton Street.The shop briefly housed a coffee shop on the first floor, but this was removed in 2002 during renovations to expand the space used for the shelving of stock. Hodges Figgis also operate the student bookshop in Dublin City University.For some time in the late 19th and in the 20th century, the company also published a number of books, often on Irish topics.Hodges Figgis is now owned by Waterstones, and operates as an integral part of the group, with the exception of operating its own loyalty stamp scheme instead of the Waterstones Plus card. It was the second highest performing store in the chain in 2015 and 2018 only outstripped by Waterstones flagship store in Piccadilly. Waterstones do operate a limited number of other stores in Ireland; but closed their other Dublin stores - which included one directly opposite Hodges Figgis - in 2011.It has been mentioned in The Wall Street Journal as well as popular works of fiction like "Conversations with Friends".

The Old Library is an early 18th century building within the campus of Trinity College Dublin and forming part of the Library of Trinity College Dublin. It contains the barrel-vaulted Long Room and the building also houses the Book of Kells. On completion the building was significantly larger than the college's collection of books and it wasn't until the mid-nineteenth century that further storage was required.

Molesworth Street (Irish: Sráid Theach Laighean, meaning 'Leinster House Street') is a street in Dublin, Ireland named after Richard Molesworth, 3rd Viscount Molesworth and links the more notable Dawson Street with Kildare Street and lies just over 200 m to the north of St. Stephens Green in Dublin's central business district.

The Embassy of Norway in Dublin, officially the Royal Norwegian Embassy, was established in 1983. The mission of the Embassy is to promote Norwegian interests in Ireland and to improve further the Norwegian-Irish relations. The Embassy works in close co-operation with Irish and Norwegian public and private institutions, as well as with organisations and individuals. As of 8 October 2020, the current ambassador to Ireland is Mari Skåre who had previously served as Chef de Cabinet to the UN President of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly The Embassy does not handle visa applications.

The Provost's House is a five-bay, two-storey house with seven-bay single-storey wings on each side, which dates from 1759 and was built for Provost Francis Andrews of Trinity College.
