Witmer's Tavern, is an historic structure that is located in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, just east of U.S. 30 on Old Philadelphia Pike. This building known as Witmer's Tavern should not be confused with the other Witmer's Tavern more commonly known as the Conestoga Restaurant or Conestoga Inn that is located on Route 462 at Bridgeport just east of Lancaster City. This building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Christian Stauffer House is a historic home located at East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1769, and is a two-story, four bay limestone dwelling, in a melded Pennsylvania-German and Anglo-American Georgian style. It has a two-story, two bay frame addition on a stone foundation built in the 1890s. Also on the property are a contributing late-18th century bank barn, stone and frame summer kitchen, and late-19th century carriage house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Michael Dohner Farmhouse is a historic home located at East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It is a two-story, fieldstone dwelling, five bays long and two bays deep. The original section was built about 1732, in a configuration typical of a German continental house. It features a massive interior fireplace.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

East Lampeter Township is a township in central Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 17,834.East Lampeter Township is one of the six suburbs that border the city of Lancaster, all sharing the same ZIP code with Lancaster. Though the township is predominantly rural and agricultural, the busy highway U.S. 30, also known as the Lincoln Highway, crosses the township from the northwest to the southeast, traveling about eight and one-half miles. The Lancaster Campus, east of the city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, serves students from Pre-K through twelve. The high school on the Lancaster Campus is known as Lancaster Mennonite High School. In 2021, the former New Danville and Locust Grove campuses closed, and merged with the Lancaster Campus.

The Conestoga Creek Viaduct spans the Conestoga River east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The present structure, built in 1887–88, is a five-span, two-track stone arch railroad bridge. The first crossing at this location was a 1,412 feet (430 m) series of 11 wooden Town lattice trusses constructed in 1829 for the Columbia and Philadelphia Railroad, which was purchased by the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) and incorporated into its main line in 1857. PRR shortened the viaduct and replaced the remaining wooden trusses with iron Whipple trusses in 1863. The 1887-88 stone arch replacement was originally intended to be four tracks wide, but only half of the superstructure width (two tracks) was constructed, leaving an unfinished spandrel wall on the southern face. Tie rods were added in 1930 to brace the spandrel walls.

The U.S. Women's Open is the oldest of the five current major championships and the third of the 2015 season. It had the largest purse in women's golf, at $4.5 million in 2015. Additionally, the tournament set an attendance record for the U.S. Women's Open at 135,000 spectators for the week.The tournament was televised by Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports.
