Arkansas Governor's Mansion

The Abraham and Mollie Froug House, located at 1727 South Center Street in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a historic residential property adjacent to the Arkansas Governor's Mansion.

The Turner House, also known as the Turner-Fulk House, is a historic house at 1701 Center Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof, clapboarded exterior, and brick foundation. Its most prominent feature is a massive two-story temple portico, with a fully pedimented and modillioned gabled pediment supported by fluted Ionic columns. The main entry is framed by sidelight windows and an elliptical fanlight, and there is a shallow but wide balcony above. The house was built in 1904–05 to a design by noted Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Ragland House is a historic house at 1617 South Center Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, with asymmetrical massing characteristic of the Queen Anne period. Its exterior is elaborately decorated with bands of cut shingles on the second level, and a bulbed turret at one corner. A single-story porch wraps around the tower to the side, with a jigsawn valance and Stick style balustrade. Built about 1891–92, it is unusual as an early work of architect Charles L. Thompson, who is better known for more Colonial Revival designs. The house was built for Mr. and Mrs. William Ragland. After the Raglands moved, Mrs. Ragland's parents, Edmond and Henriette Urguhart lived there until his death in 1905.

The Turner-Ledbetter House is a historic house at 1700 South Louisiana Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, its exterior mostly finished in brick, with a hip roof and a variety of dormers, projections, porches, and decorative elements typical of the Queen Anne period of architecture. Notable features include a three-story turret with flared conical roof, an entry porch with turned posts, bracketing, and a spindled balustrade, and windows with stone sills. The house was built in 1891-92 for Susan Turner, and was given additional Craftsman styling during renovations in the early decades of the 20th century.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Rogers House is a historic house at 400 West 18th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a large two story brick building, with an eclectic combination of Georgian Revival and American Craftsman features. It was designed by Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson and completed in 1914. It has a green tile hip roof with extended eaves that show Craftsman style rafter ends, and is pierced by gabled dormers, which also have extended eaves, with large brackets for support. A half-round entry portico projects from the front, supported by monumental fluted Ionic columns. The house is one of Thompson's more imposing designs.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Halliburton Townhouses are a pair of virtually identical residential buildings at 1601 and 1605 Center Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. They are two story wood frame Classical Revival structures, dominated by oversides two-story gabled porticos supported by Corinthian columns. They were built in 1905 or 1906 in what was then one of the most fashionable neighborhoods of the city. They were probably built by Thomas Halliburton, a prominent local landowner who once ran for mayor.The houses were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Remmel Apartments and Remmel Flats are four architecturally distinguished multiunit residential buildings in Little Rock, Arkansas. Located at 1700-1710 South Spring Street (even numbers) and 409-411 West 17th Street, they were all designed by noted Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson for H.L. Remmel as rental properties. The three Remmel Apartments were built in 1917 in the Craftsman style, while Remmel Flats is a Colonial Revival structure built in 1906. All four buildings are individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and are contributing elements of the Governor's Mansion Historic District.

The Hotze House is a historic house at 1619 Louisiana Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a 2+1⁄2-story brick structure, with a combination of Georgian Revival and Beaux Arts styling. Its main facade has an ornate half-round two-story portico sheltering the main entrance, with fluted Ionic columns and a modillioned cornice topped by a balustrade. Windows are topped by cut stone lintels. The hip roof is topped by a balustrade. Built in 1900 to a design by Charles L. Thompson, its interior is claimed to have been designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Peter Hotze, for whom it was built, was a major cotton dealer.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church, formerly the Winfield Methodist Church is a historic church at 1601 Louisiana Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story brick building with Gothic Revival style, designed by the prominent architectural firm of Thompson and Harding, and built in 1921. Its main facade has three entrances below a large Gothic-arch stained glass window, all framed by cream-colored terra cotta elements. A square tower rises above the center of the transept.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Governor's Mansion Historic District is a historic district covering a large historic neighborhood of Little Rock, Arkansas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and its borders were increased in 1988 and again in 2002. The district is notable for the large number of well-preserved late 19th and early 20th-century houses, and includes a major cross-section of residential architecture designed by the noted Little Rock architect Charles L. Thompson. It is the oldest city neighborhood to retain its residential character.
