Hotel des Artistes is a historic residential building located at 1 West 67th Street in New York City near the west side of Central Park, Manhattan. Completed in 1917, the ornate 17-story, 119-unit Gothic-style building has been home to a long list of writers, artists, and politicians over the years.

Stephen Wise Free Synagogue is a Reform synagogue located at 30 West 68th Street in the New York City borough of Manhattan. The congregation was the first of multiple "free synagogue" branches in the early 20th century.

The West 67th Street Artists' Colony is a group of structures in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City, New York, US. Developed as an art colony starting in 1901, it consists of apartment buildings with artists' studios, located on a single city block of 67th Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. The buildings were mostly developed by artists' cooperatives and are generally made of stone and brick. Most of the buildings in the colony are located on the north side of the street, with large north-facing windows in the rear to take advantage of sunlight. Seven apartment buildings and one institutional building are listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) as a historic district, the West 67th Street Artists' Colony Historic District. The colony was developed amid a shortage of suitable housing for artists in New York City, at a time when the adjacent portion of the Upper West Side was relatively sparsely developed. The first building in the colony was the 67th Street Studios at 27 West 67th Street, a cooperative developed between 1901 and 1903. The success of the 67th Street Studios led to the development of three more co-op apartment buildings between 1903 and 1907; the Swiss House, a clubhouse, was also built during that period. Two additional buildings, including the Hotel des Artistes, were built in the mid-1910s, followed by two more in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The buildings had become conventional, upper-class co-ops by the late 20th century.

The former Second Church of Christ, Scientist is a historic Christian Science church building located at Central Park West and West 68th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City, within the Central Park West Historic District. The Beaux-Arts building was designed by architect Frederick R. Comstock and constructed in 1899-1901. The building was restored beginning in 2005 by Sydness Architects which planned to clean the facade, reinforce the stained-glass windows, and waterproof the copper dome and illuminate the skylight.In 2003 Second Church of Christ, Scientist merged with First Church of Christ, Scientist, whose building at 96th Street was later sold to the Crenshaw Christian Center. The merged congregation used the name First Church of Christ, Scientist, but worshiped at the former Second Church on 68th Street.

Studio Maestro is a ballet school in New York City founded in 1995 by Rose Caiola. A portion of its students have graduated into ballet companies including American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Washington Ballet, National Ballet of Croatia, Pennsylvania Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, San Francisco Ballet, Ballet de Espana. The school program is taught in eight levels, each of which has a specific set of skills that the student must master in order to advance to the next level. The school also has a four-week summer program held in August of every year. The school's facility at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center at West 60th Street, New York, opened with a ribbon-cutting evening on June 26, 2008. Faculty include Deborah Wingert, and Marina Stavitskaya. Guest faculty for the 2008–2009 year are Jared Angle (New York City Ballet), Natalia Boesch (American Ballet Theatre), Sébastien Marcovici (New York City Ballet), Janie Taylor (New York City Ballet), Daniel Ulbricht (New York City Ballet), Roman Zhurbin (American Ballet Theatre), Karin Averty (Paris Opera Ballet), and Flavio Salazar (American Ballet Theatre). In addition to the enrolled students, dancers from the School of American Ballet and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School are permitted to audit classes at Studio Maestro. The annual Spring Gala Performance for 2008 included excerpts of classics by George Balanchine, Marius Petipa, Martha Graham, Bryan Arias-Diaz, and Tom Baird.

York Preparatory School commonly referred to as York Prep School, is an independent, university-preparatory school in the Upper West Side area of Manhattan, New York City, near Lincoln Square.The coeducational school provides instruction to approximately 410 students between 6th and 12th grades. The student:teacher ratio is 5:1.York Prep is approved by the New York State Board of Regents and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.For the 2022–2023 school year, tuition is US$58,000 including fees for students in every grade, tuition for students in the school's ITP program is $71,000, and tuition for students in the school's "Jump Start" program is $86,800.

27 West 67th Street is a cooperative apartment building located near Lincoln Square in the Upper West Side neighborhood of New York City. Completed late in 1902 and opened early the next year, it was designed by an artist named Henry Ward Ranger and financed by an association of his fellow artists. Ranger's innovative design provided for compact duplex apartments conjoined with large north-facing studios. The association was organized as a corporation whose financial structure followed a cooperative model. The corporation built and managed the co-op while its artist-investors held leases for the studio apartments they occupied. The project was an immediate success, leading other artist-investors to finance and build similar studio co-ops nearby. In 1995, following a thorough restoration, the architectural historian Christopher Gray wrote that the building was "one of the most important apartment houses in the history of New York City". As evidenced by the cost of ownership and demand for its studio apartments, the co-op has continued to thrive in the early years of the 21st century.

55 Central Park West is a 19-floor housing cooperative located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. The building was designed by the architectural firm Schwartz & Gross, and built in 1929. The building is a contributing property within the Central Park West Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building holds significance in American popular culture because the plot of the 1984 film Ghostbusters revolves heavily around it. Although the building does not have an official name, it is often colloquially referred to as The Ghostbusters Building, The Shandor Building, The Shandor Apartments or Spook Central, the fictional names it is given in the film.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is a Lutheran church located at 3 West 65th Street at the corner of Central Park West in the Upper West Side neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The church is a double-height-over-basement stone structure with a rectory, and is located within the Central Park West Historic District, designated 1990 by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.

The Brentmore at 88 Central Park West, on the Upper West Side of New York City, is an apartment building that faces the west side of Central Park. It is on the southwest corner of 69th Street.The Brentmore is in the Upper West Side-Central Park West Historic District which has been established by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission; and it is a contributing property to the federally designated Central Park West Historic District.

50 West 66th Street is a skyscraper planned for the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. It is being developed by Extell Development Company and designed by Snøhetta.The building will contain setbacks, private loggias, chamfered corners, and a 16th-floor communal terrace. The facade will be made of limestone and burnished bronze beneath the 16th floor and glass with burnished-bronze chamfers above that floor. The building was originally to be 25 stories, but the plans were later changed. When plans for an enlarged 775-foot (236 m), 69-story tower were released in late 2017, the tower faced immediate opposition by those living in the neighborhood. The city approved the tower, overriding neighborhood opposition, in December 2018. After neighborhood groups filed a lawsuit to block the project, claiming that increased height was due to misuse of mechanical space, the New York City Board of Standards and Appeals voted to approve the building permit in January 2020.

Tavern on the Green is an American cuisine restaurant in Central Park in Manhattan, New York City, near the intersection of Central Park West and West 66th Street on the Upper West Side. The restaurant, housed in a former sheepfold, has been operated by Jim Caiola and David Salama since 2014. From its opening in 1934 to its closure in 2009, the restaurant changed ownership several times. From 2010 until 2012, the building was used as a public visitor center and gift shop run by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. After a multimillion-dollar renovation, Caiola and Salama reopened Tavern on the Green to the public on April 24, 2014. Throughout its history, Tavern on the Green has been frequented by prominent actors, musicians, politicians, and writers. It has also received several awards, including those for the best restaurant in the Upper West Side, and the best wine menu.
