The Basilica of the Holy Apostles (German: Basilika St. Aposteln, German pronunciation: [ˌzaŋt ʔaˈpɔstl̩n], Colognian pronunciation: [ˌtsɪnt ʔaˈpɔsˑtəl]) is a Romanesque church in Cologne (Köln), located near Innenstadt's busy Neumarkt (Köln). The former collegiate church is dedicated to the twelve Apostles. It is one of the twelve Romanesque churches built in Cologne in that period.The church has a basilical plan of nave and aisles, and like Groß St. Martin and St. Maria im Kapitol, has three apses at the east end making a trefoil plan. There is a single tower of 67 metres at the west.

The Gloria-Theater is a multi-purpose theatre and event space, originally a cinema-theatre, in the centre of Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on Apostelnstraße north of the Neumarkt, near the Basilica of the Holy Apostles.

The Kölnischer Kunstverein is an art museum in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia state, Germany. It is named after the historical art society of the same name. The Kölnischer Kunstverein was a "Kunstverein" established in Cologne in 1839.In the 20th Century, the Kölnischer Kunstverein held exhibitions of works by Hans Arp in 1919, Paul Klee in 1932, and Fluxus artists in the 1970s.The building that housed the Kölnischer Kunstverein and its exhibitions was demolished in 2002. The Kölnischer Kunstverein now generally refers to that building and the history of the society.

The Galerie Michael Werner is a German art gallery. It was started in Cologne, in Nordrhein-Westfalen in western Germany, in 1969 by Michael Werner, who had taken over the Galerie Hake there.: 505  Werner showed work by post-War German artists such as Georg Baselitz, Jörg Immendorff, A.R. Penck and Sigmar Polke.A branch was opened in New York City in 1990, in a house on East 77th Street formerly used by Leo Castelli, and re-designed by Annabelle Selldorf. A London branch opened in 2012 in Upper Brook Street, Mayfair; the first show was of work by Peter Doig.: 7  A space was opened in Basel, in Switzerland, in 2015.In 2017 the gallery collaborated with a Brazilian gallery, Mendes Wood DM, to open Hic Svnt Dracones, a project space on East 66th Street in New York.In 2017 Michael Werner became a chevalier of the Legion of Honour, in recognition of his contributions to French culture, which included the donation of 130 artworks to the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.

The Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Cologne owns the largest collections of works by the German artist Käthe Kollwitz (1867–1945) and has maintained close links with the Kollwitz family. The museum is owned and operated by the Kreissparkasse Köln savings bank.

The Jawne (Hebrew: יבנה) was a Jewish Reformrealgymnasium (reform grammar school) in Cologne.

The Erich Klibansky Platz in Cologne quarter Altstadt-Nord, located on Helenenstraße, takes the name of Erich Klibansky, the one-time and last headmaster of the Reformrealgymnasium Jawne, the first Jewish Gymnasium of the Rhineland. It took his name in 1990.

Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln (RFH) is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences located in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was officially established in 1971 and continues the tradition of the Rheinische Ingenieurschule für Bau- und Maschinenbauwesen, which was founded in 1958. The institution offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in areas such as engineering, business administration, law, social sciences, and health. RFH is organized under private sponsorship and is subject to state supervision according to the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. The university maintains several campuses in Cologne and has a student population of approximately 5,700.

The Cologne Public Library (German: StadtBibliothek Köln) is among the biggest and most important public libraries in Germany. The central library is part of the ‘Kulturquartier’ (a cultural hub) near the Neumarkt. It is located at the Josef-Haubrich-Hof, with the new Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum (cultures of the world) in its immediate neighbourhood. Since 2008, Dr. Hannelore Vogt has been the director of the library.

Sartory-Saal is a concert hall located in Innenstadt, Cologne, Germany. It has a capacity of 1,400 people. Notable past performers include Weather Report, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Queen, AC/DC and Judas Priest.

Schauspiel Köln is a theatre and company in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It forms together with the Cologne Opera and other houses the Bühnen der Stadt Köln (Stages of the city of Cologne). The listed building has 830 seats in the Grand House, 120 in the locksmith and 60 in the refreshment room. In addition, the listed 'Halle Kalk' has 200 seats, it was used until closing in the summer of 2015 because of the danger of collapse. Since the 2013/14 season (September 2013) Depot 1 and Depot 2 have been used as interim venues during the extensive renovation of the Schauspielhaus on the site of the former Carlswerk in Schanzenstraße in Cologne-Mülheim. Ernst Hardt was the intendant before he moved on to the Westdeutscher Rundfunk in 1927.
