SAP SE (; German pronunciation: [ɛsʔaːˈpeː] ) is a German multinational software company based in Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg. It develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. The company is the world's leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) software vendor. Apart from ERP software, the company also sells database software and technology (particularly its own brands), cloud-engineered systems, and other ERP software products, such as human capital management (HCM) software, customer relationship management (CRM) software (also known as customer experience), enterprise performance management (EPM) software, product lifecycle management (PLM) software, supplier relationship management (SRM) software, supply chain management (SCM) software, business technology platform (BTP) software and programming environment SAP AppGyver for business. Founded in 1972 as a private partnership named Systemanalyse und Programmentwicklung (lit. 'System Analysis and Software Development'; SAP GbR), which in 1981 fully became Systeme, Anwendungen und Produkte in der Datenverarbeitung (SAP GmbH) after a five-year transition period beginning in 1976.: 1972–1980  In 2005, it further restructured itself as SAP AG. Since 7 July 2014, its corporate structure is that of a pan-European societas Europaea (SE); as such, its former German corporate identity is now a subsidiary, SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG. SAP is headquartered in Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, with regional offices in 180 countries. The company has over 111,961 employees in over 180 countries and is a component of the DAX and Euro Stoxx 50 stock market indices. The company is the largest non-American software company by revenue and the world's third-largest publicly traded software company by revenue. As of December 2023, SAP is the largest German company by market capitalization.

Wiesloch-Walldorf station is in the towns of Wiesloch and Walldorf in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. Leimbach Park and the Wiesloch Feldbahn and Industrial Museum are located to the north of the station, with the headquarters of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and SAP SE on the south-western side.

The Leimbach Park (German: Leimbachpark or Park am Leimbach) is a linear park and 100-year flood prevention scheme opened in October 2016 in Wiesloch, Germany. It is part of a larger ecological enhancement of the River Leimbach. The park follows the River Leimbach downstream from Wiesloch to a larger 1.4-hectare (3.5-acre) area just north of Wiesloch-Walldorf station, part of the former Tonwaren-Industrie Wiesloch brickworks.As of 2019 a narrow-gauge railway track connection runs northwards from the Leimbach Park, via the Landratsamt district government office to the Wiesloch Feldbahn and Industrial Museum.

Tonwaren-Industrie Wiesloch (TIW AG, originally Thonwaaren-Industrie Wiesloch GmbH, abbreviated Ton) was a brickworks making which existed in Wiesloch, Germany between 1895 and 1989. It was one of the largest and most significant factories in Germany. The factory was located just north of Wiesloch-Walldorf station and was the largest employer in Wiesloch.Raw clay material was excavated from a clay pit in the Dämmelwald forest on the north-west side of Wiesloch. This clay material was located at an elevation of 120 metres above sea level within the Upper Rhine Graben.The factory contained one of many industrial 600 mm gauge railways in Germany. Use of the narrow-gauge trains to fetch material from the clay pit finished in 1979. Since 2001 the Wiesloch Feldbahn and Industrial Museum has been based at part of the north end of the site, and since 2016 the Leimbach Park has been built on the south end of the site, with the rest of the area transformed into an industrial zone.

The Wiesloch Feldbahn and Industrial Museum (German: Feldbahn- und Industriemuseum Wiesloch, FIW) is a narrow-gauge railway and industrial heritage open-air museum established in 2001, at Wiesloch, Germany. The museum is centred around the former locomotive shed of the Tonwaren-Industrie Wiesloch (TIW) brickworks, and houses industrial equipment from large excavators to small machine tools, plus large and small locomotives.It is 650 metres (0.4 mi) north of Wiesloch-Walldorf station, lying between the River Leimbach and mainline Mannheim–Karlsruhe–Basel railway to the west, and the Bundesstraße 3 and REWE supermarket Group's south-west central warehouses to the east.

The Battle of Wiesloch (German: Schlacht bei Wiesloch) occurred on 16 August 1632 during the Thirty Years' War near the German city of Wiesloch, south of Heidelberg. A Swedish army led by Count Gustav Horn fought an army of the Holy Roman Empire led by Count Ernesto Montecuccoli.The battle resulted in a Swedish victory.

BWT-Stadion am Hardtwald is a football stadium in Sandhausen, Germany. Situated in a small patch of forest near the Sandhausen town limits, it is the home stadium of local football team SV Sandhausen. The stadium is owned by the club.

Waldangelbach is a river of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It flows into the Leimbach in Wiesloch. During 2017, a €2.4-million project took place to redevelop 210 metres of the Waldangelbach through the Mühlhausen city centre.In mid-2019, the bed of Waldangelbach between the former Wellpappe factory in Wiesloch, and where the stream flows into Leimbach started to be redeveloped. As part of the construction work, the railway bridge carrying the former local railway between Wiesloch-Walldorf station and Wiesloch city centre was due to be dismantled and relocated to the Wiesloch Feldbahn and Industrial Museum. The bridge arrived at the museum on 8 October 2019.

Sandhausen (German pronunciation: [zantˈhaʊ̯zn̩]) is a municipality in the district of Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 7 km south of Heidelberg.

St. Ilgen/Sandhausen station (German: Haltepunkt St. Ilgen/Sandhausen) is a railway station in the municipality of Leimen, located in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Wiesloch (German: [ˈviːslɔx], locally [ˈvɪslɔx]), is a town in northern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 13 kilometres south of Heidelberg. After Weinheim, Sinsheim and Leimen it is the fourth largest town in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis. It shares Wiesloch-Walldorf station with its neighbouring town Walldorf. Also in the vicinity of Wiesloch are Dielheim, Malsch (bei Wiesloch), Mühlhausen, Rauenberg and Sankt Leon-Rot. Wiesloch's population grew to more than 20,000 when the administration of the area was reorganised in the 1970s. Wiesloch became a Große Kreisstadt on 1 January 1973, when Altwiesloch, Baiertal, Frauenweiler and Schatthausen were amalgamated with Wiesloch to form the present municipality.
