Papaya King is a fast food restaurant in New York City. It has a single location in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, its original location; it has made several attempts to expand to other locations, but these expansions have since closed.

Bay Ridge is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is bounded by Sunset Park to the north, Dyker Heights to the east, the Narrows and the Belt Parkway to the west, and Fort Hamilton Army Base and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge to the south. Bay Ridge is part of Brooklyn Community District 10, and its primary ZIP Codes are 11209 and 11220. It is patrolled by the 68th Precinct of the New York City Police Department. Politically, it is represented by the New York City Council's 43rd District.

The 86th Street station is a station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, located at 86th Street and Fourth Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It is served by the R train at all times. The 86th Street station was constructed as part of the Fourth Avenue Line. Though it was originally planned to be a four-track express station with two island platforms, only the western platform and tracks were ultimately built. Construction on the segment of the line that includes 86th Street started in 1913, and was completed in 1915. The station opened on January 15, 1916, as part of an extension of the BMT Fourth Avenue Line from 59th Street to 86th Street. The station's platforms were lengthened in 1926–1927, and it was renovated in the 1970s and again in the late 2000s. The 86th Street station was renovated between 2018 and 2020, and elevators were added to make the station compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The 86th Street station serves as a bus hub and terminal for several New York City Transit bus routes.

The 77th Street station was constructed as part of the Fourth Avenue Line, which was approved in 1905 and subsequently modified. Construction on the segment of the line that includes 77th Street started on January 24, 1913, and was completed in 1915. The station opened on January 15, 1916, as part of an extension of the BMT Fourth Avenue Line from 59th Street to 86th Street. The station's platforms were lengthened in 1926–1927 and in 1968-1970.

The Bay Ridge–95th Street station (originally 95th Street–Fort Hamilton station) is the southern terminal station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Despite the name, the station is located in the neighborhood of Fort Hamilton (as its original name implied) at the intersection of 95th Street and Fourth Avenue in southwestern Brooklyn. It is served by the R train at all times. Geographically, this station is the westernmost New York City Subway station. The station was first planned in 1922 as the first part of an extension to Staten Island through a tunnel under the Narrows. Construction began on December 17, 1923, after the construction contractor submitted, withdrew, and resubmitted its bid. The station opened on October 31, 1925, but the Staten Island extension was never built due to various funding disputes. The platform was lengthened in the 1960s.

Fort Hamilton High School (HS 490) is a public high school in Brooklyn, New York, USA, under the jurisdiction of the New York City Department of Education. Students in Bay Ridge, Sunset Park and Dyker Heights are zoned to Fort Hamilton HS. It is named for the army garrison at Fort Hamilton.Ground was broken by then mayor Fiorello LaGuardia on September 23, 1940 and the school opened at 8301 Shore Road on September 8, 1941 at the location of the former Crescent Athletic Country Club.

Shore Road Hospital was a 93-bed private hospital in Brooklyn, New York City, which opened in 1924 and was demolished in 1977. "Although it was a full service hospital, it specialized in maternity care."

The houses at 216–264 Ovington Ave. form a national historic district in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York, New York. It consists of 20 contributing residential buildings built between 1908 and 1910. They are brownstone rowhouses with bowed fronts in the Neo-Renaissance style. The houses are two or three stories in height.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Bay Ridge United Methodist Church, originally known as Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, was a historic Methodist church at 7002 Fourth Avenue and Ovington Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York, New York. It was designed by architect George W. Kramer.It was built in 1899 in the Romanesque Revival style. It was built of green serpentine stone and trimmed in brown stone. It featured a four-stage, crenelated clock tower. Also on the property was the contributing Sunday School building built in 1926–1927.The church was demolished October 21, 2008.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Victory Memorial Hospital was a 254-bed medical facility. It was announced in 2006 that they're closing; they were acquired by SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2009 and renamed SUNY Downstate at Bay Ridge.

Fontbonne Hall is an all-girls, private, Roman Catholic high school in Brooklyn, New York. It was established in 1937 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, and is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. In 2013, in celebration of its 75th year, school leadership noted that throughout its history, Fontbonne had educated nearly 10,000 women who “have become noted doctors, lawyers, engineers, leaders in business and the arts, educators, mothers and even, like Sister Ita Ford, class of 1957, martyrs for their cause.”Making reference to the boroughs of New York City, Fontbonne's students predominantly come from southwest Brooklyn, southern Queens and Staten Island.

John J. Carty Park, also known as Rubber Park, is located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. This park honors John J. Carty (1909–1970), a native of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn who lived his life only five blocks away and dedicated himself to New York City government for 32 years.
