Bald Eagle State Forest is a Pennsylvania state forest in Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry District #7. The main office is located in Laurelton in Union County, Pennsylvania. The forest is found in Centre, Clinton, Mifflin, Snyder, and Union Counties. Bald Eagle shares a common border on its western extent with Rothrock State Forest and on its northern extent with Tiadaghton State Forest. Five Pennsylvania State Parks are contained within the forest: Poe Valley, Poe Paddy, R. B. Winter, Reeds Gap, and Sand Bridge, as well as two former state parks: Snyder-Middleswarth Natural Area (formerly Snyder-Middleswarth State Park) and Hairy Johns Picnic Area (formerly a state park known as both "Hairy John's State Forest Park" and "Voneida State Forest Park").

Centre Hall is a borough in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in Penns Valley and is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,265 at the 2010 census, which is a 17.2% increase from the 2000 census.[1] Centre Hall was so named on account of its location near the geographical center of Penns Valley.

Bellefonte Armory is a historic National Guard armory located at Bellefonte, Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was built in 1930, and consists of an administration building and stable building executed in the Colonial Revival style. Both buildings are constructed of brick and have slate hipped roofs.It was designed by American architect Joseph F. Kuntz.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Mingoville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Walker Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 503 residents.Mingoville is located in eastern Centre County, west of the center of Walker Township, in the Nittany Valley between Nittany Mountain to the southeast and Sand Ridge to the northwest. It is 3 miles (5 km) southwest of the community of Hublersburg and 2 miles (3 km) northeast of Zion, along Pennsylvania Route 64. State College is 15 miles (24 km) to the southwest.

Bellefonte Area High School (previously known as Bellefonte High School) is a high school serving Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. “During the height of airmail operations in Bellefonte in 1925, as many as fifteen people worked there full-time. By 1926, though, powerful long-range aircraft were able to fly directly from New York to Cleveland, bypassing Bellefonte. The terminal was relegated to the status of emergency field only. All other intermediary cities lost their regular service too: Bryan, Iowa City, North Platte, Rawlins, and Rock Springs. Today, the site of Bellefonte airmail terminal, formerly the Beaver farm, is now the Bellefonte Area Senior High School. Karoondinha Music & Arts Festival was a music festival which was to be held at Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. The festival was officially announced on December 9, 2016. The inaugural festival's full lineup was unveiled May 2, 2017, and featured Chance the Rapper, John Legend, ODESZA, Paramore, and Sturgill Simpson as headliners. On June 27, 2017 the festival's official website and social media went dark signaling the festival had been cancelled. Compounded with the festival's reported financial struggles, an overarching factor in the closing of the festival was a result of the May 22nd terrorist attack of an Ariana Grande concert in London. Many consumers feared the possibility of a similar attack taking place at the venue in Penn's Cave, forcing ticket sales to plummet, and subsequently, contributing to the cancellation of the festival.
