Dalla Lana School of Public Health is the school of public health at the University of Toronto. It was founded in 1927, and was home for 50 years to Connaught Laboratories, a manufacturer of vaccines, insulin, and many other pharmaceutical products. Having grown to be the largest cluster of public health scholars in Canada, the school was revitalized in 2008 with the support of a major gift from the Dalla Lana family.

Spirit of Discovery is a 2005 sculpture by Veronica and Edwin Dam de Nogales, installed on the University of Toronto campus, in Ontario, Canada. The bronze and stainless steel figurative artwork measures 8m x 4.5m x 4m. The artists have said, "The sculpture attempts to capture not only the activity of the research centre, but the very spirit behind this research. There is in medicine and in art a unique connectivity of subject and subject matter … this work attempts to capture this … the figure is in unison with the protein structure, mimicking its every twist and turn … there in his reach is anticipation, hope and a sought objective … discovery within grasp."

The Toronto Athletic Club, also known as the Stewart Building, is a historic building located at 149 College Street in Toronto, Ontario. It was designed by E. J. Lennox and built in 1894 to support the activities of the club; it included the first indoor pool in Toronto. A similarly-named but unaffiliated Toronto Athletic Club now exists in the Toronto-Dominion Centre.

CIFAR (formerly the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research) is a Canadian-based global research organization that brings together teams of top researchers from around the world to address important and complex questions. It was founded in 1982 and is supported by individuals, foundations and corporations, as well as funding from the Government of Canada and the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec.

The Intact Centre is an office building located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that serves as the head offices of Ontario Power Generation and Intact Financial. It was originally built in 1975 for Ontario Hydro (of which OPG is a successor company) and has been previously known as Hydro Place, Ontario Hydro Building and Ontario Power Building. It was designed by the architect Kenneth Raymond Cooper with Consulting Architect Kenneth H. Candy, Chief Architect of Ontario Hydro, and Adamson Associates. Located at 700 University Avenue at the intersection of College Street in Downtown Toronto, the International Style building stands at 80.0 m and 19 floors with 113,898 m2 (1,225,990 sq ft) of space.The building is served by Queen's Park station on the Toronto subway.

The Medical Sciences Building (MSB) is the main building of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, the medical school at the University of Toronto. It was built in 1969 within the historic King's College Circle on the St. George campus in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The large, predominantly concrete structure is exemplary of the Brutalist architectural style of the 1960s. The building is connected to several others along College Street including the Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research. The building is located in Toronto's Discovery District, home to several teaching hospitals partnered with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, including Toronto General Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

The Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy is the pharmacy school and an academic division of the University of Toronto. The school is based on the St. George campus at the northwestern corner of College Street and University Avenue, placing it across from the Ontario Legislative Building and at the entrance to Queen's Park station. It is also situated near four internationally renowned hospitals—The Hospital for Sick Children, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto General Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. It is part of Toronto's Discovery District.

The Temerty Faculty of Medicine (previously Faculty of Medicine) is the medical school of the University of Toronto. Founded in 1843, the faculty is based in Downtown Toronto and is one of Canada's oldest institutions of medical studies, being known for the discovery of insulin, stem cells and the site of the first single and double lung transplants in the world.

Notre Place Monument, also known as Notre place (English: Our Home), is a monument in Toronto's Queen's Park, in Ontario, Canada. Unveiled in 2018, the monument features a public space and a series of columns.

The Ontario Cancer Institute (OCI) is the research division of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, affiliated to the University Health Network of the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. As Canada's first dedicated cancer hospital, it opened officially and began to receive patients in 1958, although its research divisions had begun work a year earlier. Because, at that time, a stigma was associated with the word "cancer", the hospital was soon renamed the Princess Margaret Hospital, although the whole operation was called the Ontario Cancer Institute incorporating the Princess Margaret Hospital, or OCI/PMH. Clinicians usually preferred the hospital name, while the scientists used OCI. The original location of the OCI/PMH was at 500 Sherbourne Street in Toronto. In 1995, the whole operation moved to a new building at 610 University Avenue, and the new Princess Margaret Hospital became part of the University Health Network. The OCI continued as the research arm of the PMH, that in 2012 changed its name in Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
