Dane Court Grammar School

The Charles Dickens School is a co-educational secondary modern school located in Broadstairs in the English county of Kent. The school is named after Charles Dickens, the 19th-century writer and social critic. It is one of six non-selective schools on the Isle of Thanet, physically isolated corner of Kent. The Charles Dickens School is part of the Barton Court Academy Trust (BCAT).

St Peter's is an area of Broadstairs, a town on the Isle of Thanet in Kent. Historically a village, it was outgrown by the long-dominant settlement of the two, Broadstairs, after 1841. Originally the borough or manor of the church of St. Peter-in-Thanet, it was said to be the largest parish east of London, at least until Broadstairs became a separate parish on 27 September 1850. Ramsgate Airport was a civil airfield at Ramsgate, Kent, United Kingdom which opened in July 1935. It was briefly taken over by the Royal Air Force in the Second World War, becoming RAF Ramsgate. The airfield was then closed and obstructed to prevent its use. It reopened in 1953 and served until final closure in 1968. The site has now been redeveloped as an industrial estate.

It is a successor parish, created in 1974 to replace Broadstairs and St Peter's Urban District. It is governed by Broadstairs and St Peter's Town Council. Broadstairs railway station is on the Chatham Main Line in England, serving the seaside town of Broadstairs, Kent. It is 77 miles 9 chains (124 km) down the line from London Victoria and is situated between Margate and Dumpton Park. The station and all trains that serve the station are operated by Southeastern. Trains to London can run either way through the station, depending on the route either via Margate or Ramsgate.

Dumpton Park railway station is on the Chatham Main Line in England, serving the district of Dumpton between the towns of Broadstairs and Ramsgate, Kent. It is 78 miles 26 chains (126.1 km) down the line from London Victoria and is situated between Broadstairs and Ramsgate stations. The station and all trains that serve the station are operated by Southeastern. The station has no buildings and just a few parking spaces, a bridge from the south side of the line to an island platform, with a small shelter at the bottom of the steps. Until 1965 the station served as the interchange between the main line and the nearby Tunnel Railway.

Thanet & District Reform Synagogue, which is associated with the Movement for Reform Judaism, is a Reform Judaism congregation at 293A Margate Road in Ramsgate in Thanet, Kent, England. Founded in 1985, it is also known as Etz Chaim, a name it shares with its journal.Cliff Cohen is the community's rabbi.
