İstinye Park is a shopping center in the İstinye quarter of Istanbul, Turkey with 291 stores, 85,250 m2 (917,600 sq ft) of retail area, and four levels of underground parking. The center features both enclosed and open-air sections. The open-air section has a green central park and offers street-side shopping. The center includes an authentic Turkish food bazaar- a traditional market place, inspired by Turkish architecture and history.

İhsan Ketin Natural History Museum (Turkish: İhsan Ketin Doğa Tarihi Müzesi) is a museum within the Mining Engineering Faculty of Istanbul Technical University. The free-of-charge museum was established in the Faculty building at 41°06′17″N 29°01′34″E. Istanbul Technical University (Turkish: İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, commonly referred to as ITU or The Technical University) is an international technical university located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is the world's third-oldest technical university dedicated to engineering sciences as well as social sciences recently, and is one of the most prominent educational institutions in Turkey. ITU is ranked 108th worldwide (1st nationwide) in the field of "Engineering & Technology", and 255th worldwide (2nd nationwide) in the field of "Natural Sciences" by the QS World University Rankings in 2023. The university has 99 undergraduate, 192 graduate programs, 14 faculties, labs with total 154,000 m2 area, and 12 research centers.Acceptance to the university is competitive, and entrance to most of its departments require scoring among the top 1% of nearly 2 million applicants at the national university entrance examination known as "YKS" every year. Graduates of ITU have received many TUBITAK science and TUBA awards. Numerous graduates have also become members of the academy of sciences in the USA, UK and Russia. The university's basketball team, İTÜ BK, is in the Turkish Basketball Super League.

Diamond of Istanbul is the tallest building under construction in Istanbul, Turkey, being built on the Büyükdere Avenue in the city's Maslak central business district of Sarıyer. It is also the country's first steel skyscraper. When completed, it will rise 63 floors above ground level and reach an above-ground height of 311 meters. Its design, by Dome Architecture of Istanbul, comprises three steel wings connected to the central (concrete) elevator core. The three wings (towers) will house a luxury hotel (the tallest tower), A-class offices (the second-tallest tower), and rental skyscraper apartments (the shortest tower.) The tallest of the three wings (the hotel tower) will have an overall total of 63 floors above ground (three retail facility floors, 48 hotel tower floors and two panoramic restaurant floors above the hotel floors, at heights of 249.10m and 263.10m, respectively), and reach an overall structural height of 311m from street level. The steel wings rise from the common podium of a shopping mall comprising five floors - three above-ground and two below. The complex also has a five-floor parking garage situated in the bottom-most basement floors of the building (with a total of eight basement floors below ground level.) The panoramic restaurant on the top-most floor will be at one of the tallest man-made points in Istanbul and Turkey.

The ITU Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center is a multi-venue building located within Istanbul Technical University's Ayazağa campus in Maslak, Istanbul. The university's academic and cultural activities are held in this center.

Skyland İstanbul is a mixed-use skyscraper complex located in the Seyrantepe neighborhood of Sarıyer, Istanbul, Turkey. The complex consists of three towers: a 284-meter office tower with 65 floors, a residential tower of equal height with 64 floors, and a 180-meter hotel tower with 28 floors. Designed by British architectural firm Broadway Malyan and developed by Turkish conglomerate Eroğlu Holding, the complex was completed in 2019.

Maslak is one of the main business districts of Sarıyer, Istanbul, Turkey, located on the European side of the city. It was formerly an exclave of the municipality of Şişli, though being far north and actually closer to the municipalities of Sarıyer and Beşiktaş. Therefore, a legislation was approved by the Interior Commission of the Turkish Parliament on October 18, 2012, that shifted the jurisdiction of the Maslak district from Şişli to Sarıyer. Maslak is in direct competition with the nearby Levent business district for new skyscraper projects. At the present, the tallest completed skyscraper in Maslak is the 47-floor Spine Tower which reaches a structural height of 202 meters; while the tallest skyscraper currently under construction in Maslak (as well as Istanbul and the rest of Turkey) is the Diamond of Istanbul, which comprises three centrally-connected towers, the tallest of which will have 53 floors above ground and will reach a structural height of 270 meters (thus surpassing the current tallest completed skyscraper in Istanbul, the 54-floor, 261 meters tall Istanbul Sapphire in the nearby Levent business district.) The Diamond of Istanbul will also be the first steel skyscraper in Turkey, where (as opposed to the situation in the United States) constructing with steel costs more than constructing with concrete. The reason for choosing steel was its relative strength in resisting earthquakes (Istanbul is located along the North Anatolian Fault), whereas concrete is more fire-resistant. The stations İTÜ-Ayazağa and Atatürk Oto Sanayi of the M2 line of the Istanbul Metro serve the Maslak business district and its surrounding neighborhoods.

The Borsa İstanbul (abbreviated as BIST) is the sole exchange entity of Turkey combining the former Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) (Turkish: İstanbul Menkul Kıymetler Borsası, IMKB), the Istanbul Gold Exchange (Turkish: İstanbul Altın Borsası, İAB) and the Derivatives Exchange of Turkey (Turkish: Vadeli İşlem Opsiyon Borsası, VOB) under one umbrella. It was established as an incorporated company with a founding capital of ₺423,234,000 (approx. US$240 million) on April 3, 2013, and began to operate on April 5, 2013. Its slogan is worth investing. Shareholders of Borsa İstanbul are: 49% Government of Turkey, 41% IMKB, 5% VOB, 4% IMKB members, 1% IMKB brokers and 0.3% IAB members. It is planned that all the Government-owned shares will be offered for sale. Among the executives of the nine-member board of directors, which is presided by chairman Himmet Karadağ, are former deputy chairman of ISE Osman Akyüz, former head of VOB Işınsu Kestelli, Merrill Lynch Investment Bank General Manager Hüseyin Kelezoğlu and Chairman of Turkish Association of Capital Market Intermediary Institutions Attila Köksal.

Elgiz Museum (Turkish: Elgiz Müzesi) is a private collection museum, founded by Dr. Can Elgiz. The museum opened in 2001, when there were no non-profit institutions in Turkey dedicated to contemporary art. Established with a mission to promote the development of contemporary art in Turkey, the initiative focused on giving space, support and international visibility to projects by young Turkish artists. As new art institutions and museums bloomed in Turkish art scene in 2005, the collectors converted the space to a private collection museum under the name ‘Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art’ to host the Elgiz Collection. Elgiz Museum is located in the dynamic business district of Istanbul, Maslak and is open to the public free of charge.

Fatih Sultan Mehmet is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Sarıyer, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 15,725 (2022). It lies next to the TEM highway. The parts of the neighborhood close to the TEM are called Büyük Armutlu, and the parts farther away are called Küçük Armutlu. A significant Alevi population settled in Küçük Armutlu from the Anatolian cities of Tokat, Sivas, Amasya, Kahramanmaraş and Tunceli. Büyük Armutlu is connected to Etiler by Narin Bridge. According to 2004 data, the literacy rate of women living in the neighborhood is 80% and only 10% of this population is working. Most houses in the neighborhood have a view of the Bosphorus Strait.

Atatürk Oto Sanayi is an underground rapid transit station on the M2 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Büyükdere Avenue just north of Maslak. The station opened on 31 January 2009 as part of the northern extension of the M2. It served as the northern terminus until 2 September 2010 when the line was extended further north to Darüşşafaka. Atatürk Oto Sanayi has an island platform serviced by two tracks.

National Defense University (Turkish: Milli Savunma Üniversitesi) is a military university established in 2016 and primarily located in Beşiktaş, İstanbul. The university education and training started with the ceremony held on 12 February 2017 at the Air Force Academy. It is a continuation of the Turkish War Academies.
