Daejojeon (Korean: 대조전; Hanja: 大造殿; MR: Taejojŏn; lit. 'Achieving Greatness Hall') is a major hall in the palace Changdeokgung in Seoul, South Korea. It was used as the main living quarters for the king and office of the queen. It is now a designated Treasure of South Korea.

Injeongjeon (Korean: 인정전; Hanja: 仁政殿; MR: Injŏngjŏn; lit. 'Hall of Benevolent Governance') is the throne hall and main building of the palace Changdeokgung in Seoul, South Korea. It is a designated National Treasure of South Korea. It was built around c. 1405 and was destroyed and rebuilt a number of times thereafter. Its current iteration was built in 1804.

Injeongmun (Korean: 인정문; Hanja: 仁政門; MR: Injŏngmun) is a gate inside the palace Changdeokgung in Seoul, South Korea. It is the front gate to the palace's main building Injeongjeon. Injeongmun is a designated Treasure of South Korea. It has corridors to its left and right that eventually angle and form a trapezoid.

Wonseo-dong is a dong, neighbourhood of Jongno-gu in Seoul, South Korea. It is a legal dong (법정동 法定洞) administered under its administrative dong (행정동 行政洞), Gahoe-dong.

Donhwamun (Korean: 돈화문; Hanja: 敦化門; MR: Tonhwamun) is the main and south gate of the palace Changdeokgung in Seoul, South Korea. It is a designated Treasure of South Korea and the oldest extant gate of all Joseon palaces. It was completed in 1412, destroyed in 1592, rebuilt in 1607 or 1608, and has since survived to the present.

Changgyeong Palace is a palace located in Seoul, South Korea. The palace was built in the mid-15th century by King Sejong for his father, Taejong. It was originally named "Suganggung," but it was renovated and enlarged in 1483 by King Seongjong, at which time it received its current name. Many structures were destroyed during Japan's multiple late 15th to 16th (1592) century attempts to conquer Korea and invade China. It was rebuilt by successive Joseon Kings but was once again largely destroyed by the Japanese in the early 20th century. This time, it was torn down methodically to make room for a modern park, a showplace for the empire, akin to Tokyo's Ueno Park. During the Japanese colonial period, the Japanese built a zoo, botanical garden, and museum on the site. It was called "Changgyeongwon park", the "won" standing for the Korean word 'zoo'. After independence in 1945 and the turmoil and destruction of the 1950-53 Korean War, the zoo was restocked through donations of wealthy Koreans as well as gifts from foreign zoos. In 1983, the zoo and botanical garden were relocated to present-day Seoul Grand Park.

Tteok Museum is a museum located in Waryong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Founded by Yoon Sookja, the chief director of the Institute of Traditional Korean Food (한국전통음식연구소), it opened in December, 2002. The museum specializes in Korean cutlery with approximately 2,000 old Korean kitchen utensils from ancient maetdol (맷돌, grinding stones) to early 20th century kitchenwares on display and exhibits 50 of Korea's nearly 200 types of tteok (Korean rice cake).

Jongmyo (Hangul: 종묘; Hanja: 宗廟) is a Confucian shrine dedicated to the perpetuation of memorial services for the deceased kings and queens of the Korean Joseon Dynasty (1392–1897). According to UNESCO, the shrine is the oldest royal Confucian shrine preserved and the ritual ceremonies continue a tradition established in the 14th century. Such shrines existed during the Three Kingdoms of Korea period (57–668), but these have not survived. The Jongmyo Shrine was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1995.Jongmyo is adjacent to Changdeok Palace and Changgyeong Palace in the south. They used to be connected in the Joseon period, but were separated by a road built by Japanese colonists. Currently, there is a construction plan to recover the original structure of the shrine. The main buildings of Jongmyo were constructed in October 1394 when Taejo, founder and first king of Joseon, moved the capital to Hanseong (present-day Seoul). The shrine was destroyed by fire in the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592–1598), then rebuilt in early 1600s.

Daegaksa is a Buddhist temple of the Jogye Order in Seoul, South Korea. It is located in Bongik 2-dong in the Jongno-gu area of the city.

Unhyeongung (Korean: 운현궁; Hanja: 雲峴宮), also known as Unhyeongung Royal Residence, is a former Korean royal residence located at 114-10 Unni-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea. It was formerly the residence of the Heungseon Daewongun a prince regent of Korea during the Joseon Dynasty in the 19th century, and father of Emperor Gojong. Gojong himself also lived in this residence until age 12 when he assumed the throne. It is currently a museum and is open to the public free of charge.

Taejae University (TAEJAE, Korean: 태재대학교; RR: Taejae Daehakgyo) is a distance learning private university headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The university was established in 2023 by Chang-Gul Cho, the founder of South Korean corporation Hanssem. All students participate in the Global Engagement Program (GEP) at residential campuses in South Korea, the US, China, Russia, and Japan.

Rakkojae (Korean: 락고재; lit. a house to enjoy the old) is a South Korean cultural center located in the Bukchon Hanok Village of Jongno-gu, Seoul, established with the purpose for foreign visitors to experience Korean culture in a hanok (한옥) or Korean traditional house. It began operations as a traditional hotel in 2003, a year after the 2002 FIFA World Cup held by South Korea and Japan. Rakkojae was the first instance where a hanok was re-purposed for use as a hotel. Rakkojae Seoul is a building with a 130-year history and was restored by Korean Human National Treasure, Master Carpenter Young Jin Chung in 2003. The hotel is actually a compound of three hanok, one in a 'ㄱ' shape, one in a 'ㄷ' shape, and one in a single-unit patio style. Rakkojae Seoul was the first hanok hotel to be listed in the first edition of the Michelin Seoul guide in 2017. Rakkojae Andong (Hahoe) opened its doors in Andong within the Hahoe Folk Village in 2009. On July 31, 2010, the Hahoe Folk Village was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List, receiving international recognition for its cultural value. The entire village had long been designated as Korean Important Folk Property #122 for having preserved its ancient form and traditions for the past 600 years. This hotel is built in a different style of Korean traditional housing called choga, which historically was used as dwellings for commoners.
