Ottinger Hall

White Community Memorial Chapel is a historic, non-denominational meetinghouse on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah. The structure was built from 1979 to 1980 with salvaged elements from the recently demolished Salt Lake 18th Ward meetinghouse, which had been constructed in the early 1880s. The reconstruction was largely funded by the Mahonri Kenneth White and Ada Marie Sparks White Foundation, and the completed meetinghouse was donated to the State of Utah, which administers it as part of the Utah State Capitol complex.

Not to be mistaken with the Council House, a building of similar purpose and design in Salt Lake City.The Salt Lake City Council Hall is currently home to offices of the Utah Office of Tourism and the Utah Film Commission and is located on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah. Built in 1864-66, the building is historically important as the Old Salt Lake City Hall or just Old City Hall from 1866 to 1894. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975, as an emblem of (and site of events relating to) the conflicts between the governments of the Utah Territory and the United States in the 19th century.

The Ethel Zucker Memorial Fountain, or simply Zucker Fountain, is a fountain and memorial installed in Salt Lake City's Memory Grove, in the U.S. state of Utah.

City Creek is a small but historically important mountain stream that flows from City Creek Canyon and across part of Salt Lake City, Utah, and into the Jordan River which empties into the Great Salt Lake. City Creek's head is about 8 miles (13 km) up City Creek Canyon northeast of Downtown Salt Lake City. The entire stream measures only about 14.5 miles (23 km) long. Melting snow from adjacent mountains provides most of City Creek's currents, but the stream flows year-round because of natural springs at the head of the creek. Until 1882 City Creek served as the city's primary water supply, and it continues to provide drinking water to The Avenues and northern parts of Salt Lake City.

The Pagoda (also known as the World War I Memorial or World War I Monument) is a memorial designed by Slack Winburn, installed in Salt Lake City's Memory Grove in the U.S. state of Utah. Built as the park's first memorial, using marble from Vermont, the classical structure has eight Doric columns. The shaft and urn were added in 1932.

The Woodruff-Riter-Stewart Home is a mansion on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah. It sits on the corner of State Street and 200 North on the south slope of Capitol Hill. Originally built for Edward D. Woodruff, a Union Pacific doctor who partnered a successful laundry business, the home was designed by architects Headlund and Wood and was finished in 1906. The home is an example of Renaissance architecture. Originally, the house had an interior like an English home with stained glass, mahogany paneling (although it was cheap local pine painted to resemble mahogany), leather coverings, and mural-adorned walls. However, subsequent owners painted over all of the original interior. Likewise, the original red brick of the house was painted white for a time. Woodruff lived in the house his entire life and it was inherited by his daughter Leslie and her husband, General Franklin Riter, a noted local citizen. Riter was the first Utah attorney on the Board of the American Bar Association. He was also the US Judge Advocate in Germany. In 1950 the home was sold to DeVirl Stewart. For a time it was used for office space, but the building's interior and exterior is now restored. The building was purchased by Philip McCarthey in 2003. The bed and breakfast, Inn on the Hill, was reopened in 2004 and is open daily.

Two sculptures of beehives are installed outside the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The artworks were presented to the state by the Kennecott Copper Corporation on July 24, 1976.

Memory Grove, formerly known as Memory Park and sometimes called Memory Grove Park, is a park in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Established as a war memorial at the mouth of City Creek Canyon in 1924, the park "spawned a long tradition of support and involvement by private, civil, fraternal, military, and political organizations, and its evolution over the span of five generations reflects Utah's changing values along with her participation in world events", according to William G. Love of Utah Historical Quarterly.

The Utah State Capitol is the house of government for the U.S. state of Utah. The building houses the chambers and offices of the Utah State Legislature, the offices of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, the State Auditor and their staffs. The capitol is the main building of the Utah State Capitol Complex, which is located on Capitol Hill, overlooking downtown Salt Lake City. The Neoclassical revival, Corinthian style building was designed by architect Richard K.A. Kletting, and built between 1912 and 1916. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Beginning in 2004, the capitol underwent a major restoration and renovation project. The project added two new buildings to the complex while restoring many of the capitol's public spaces to their original appearance. One of the largest projects during the renovation was the addition of a base isolation system which will allow the building to survive as much as a 7.3 magnitude earthquake. After completion of the renovations, the building was rededicated and resumed normal operation in January 2008.
