Riyadh Air Base (closed 2021)

King Salman Air Base (ICAO: OERY, Arabic: قاعدة الملك سلمان الجوية), formerly known as Riyadh Air Base until 2015 with the commencement of "Decisive Storm" and formerly known as Riyadh International Airport from its opening in 1946 until 1983, was a military air base in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was originally used by Saudia as an airline hub before King Khalid International Airport opened in 1983.

Saudia Flight 163 was a scheduled Saudia passenger flight departing from Quaid-E-Azam Airport in Karachi, Pakistan, bound for Kandara Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, via Riyadh International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which caught fire after takeoff from Riyadh International Airport (now the Riyadh Air Base) on 19 August 1980. Although the Lockheed L-1011-200 TriStar made a successful emergency landing at Riyadh, the flight crew failed to perform an emergency evacuation of the airplane, leading to the deaths of all 287 passengers and 14 crew on board the aircraft from smoke inhalation. The accident is the deadliest aviation disaster involving a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar, and the deadliest to occur in Saudi Arabia. At the time, this was the second-deadliest aircraft accident in the history of aviation involving a single airplane after Turkish Airlines Flight 981.

King Salman Park (KSP) (Arabic: حديقة الملك سلمان) is an under construction 4102-acre large-scale public park and urban district in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was unveiled in 2019 as one of the public initiatives to increase the green space of Riyadh. Being built on the grounds of former Riyadh Air Base and covering most of King Abdulaziz District, it is slated to be the largest urban park in the world upon its opening in 2024. The park has lent its name to the nearby district of King Salman Neighborhood, both of which are named after King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the ruler of Saudi Arabia since 2015. The park under-construction lies on the grounds of the former King Salman Air Base, and would be seven times the size of London’s Hyde Park and five times the size of New York’s Central Park. It is located in north-central Riyadh and will be served by five stations on the Green Line of the Riyadh Metro, as well as six main roads. Construction contracts for King Salman Park were awarded in 2021.

International Indian Public School Riyadh (IIPS-R), formerly SEVA School is a K–12 gender-isolated English-medium community-based international school in as-Sulaimaniyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1995, it primarily serves the Indian diaspora of the city and provides Indian curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. It is a member of the CBSE Gulf Sahodaya and is approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of Saudi Arabia.

Riyadh College of Technology (RCT) (Arabic: الكلية التقنية بالرياض) is a public institute of technology in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1983 during the reign of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and is the first intermediate technical college in Saudi Arabia. It was founded under the supervision of Saudi Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and offers courses in multiple streams like electrical, electronics, automobile and management technology.During the first six years of implementation of the diploma program, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) was in need for technical trainers to work in its technical institutes. Therefore, the corporation adopted the idea of applying Bachelor program to rehabilitate the distinguished graduates of the diploma program in technical college to work in the field of training in industrial secondary institutes and technical colleges. In 10/06/1409H, a royal decree was issued (M/194/7) to develop the intermediate technical college in Riyadh and the duration of training period for four years to granting bachelor's degree in the technical engineering and give graduates the same privileges granted to graduates of engineering schools in the Kingdom.

King Fahd Medical City (KFMC) is a medical facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The complex consists of four hospitals: The Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, The Specialist Hospital, The Rehabilitation Hospital, and The Pediatric Hospital. It was built at a cost of $633 million. KFMC's yearly operating budget is estimated at $150 million.

Al-Dhubbat (Arabic: الضباط, lit. 'the officers') is a neighborhood in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located east of al-Wizarat and northwest of al-Malaz in the sub-municipality of al-Malaz. It is one of the most ancient neighborhoods of Riyadh, dating back to the time of Jabal Abu Makhruq. The current form of the neighborhood emerged in the 1970s as a housing development project for government officials employed in the Ministry of Defense and other agencies. The district later got named after them.

Al-Wahah (Arabic: الواحة, lit. 'the oasis') was a neighborhood in northern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located west of King Abdullah District and east of Salah al-Din neighborhood in the sub-municipality of al-Ulaya. Covering an area of almost 798 acres, the district emerged in the 1980s and was initially owned by Prince General Khalid bin Sultan. Along with the adjacent Salah al-Din neighborhood, the district ceased to exist in May 2023 when both of them where conjoined to form the King Salman Neighborhood.It was located north of King Abdulaziz District, south of al-Nuzha, southwest of al-Mughzirat, southeast of al-Mursalat and east of erstwhile Salah ad-Din neighborhood. Al-Wahah neighborhood was owned by Prince Khalid bin Sultan al-Saud, the former deputy defense minister of Saudi Arabia and son of Sultan bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from 2005 until 2011. He later sold it to Saudi real-estate magnate Khaled al-Baltan.It was renamed as King Salman Neighborhood by Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman in May 2023 when it was conjoined with Salah al-Din neighborhood to honor the legacy of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the ruler of Saudi Arabia since 2015 and his efforts to modernize Riyadh during his period in office as the governor of Riyadh Province between 1963 and 2011.

Al Rabwah (Arabic: الربوة, romanized: al-rabwah, lit. 'the hillock neighborhood'), pronounced as ar-Rabwah, is a residential neighborhood in eastern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located north of Jarir and east of al-Zahra in the sub-municipality of al-Malaz. The locality is popular for its commercial landmarks such as the franchisee of Al-Othaim Markets LuLu Hypermarkets, Alinma Bank, Jarir Bookstore along with urban parks such as al-Nahda Park and Rabwah Park.The area is also infamous for illegal drifting and vehicle collision incidents mainly due to fishtailing.

Shola Shopping Center (Arabic: مركز الشعلة التجاري, romanized: Markaz al-Šuʿalah al-Tiǧārī) was a shopping complex in the ad-Dhubbat neighborhood of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Popular for its gold markets, it was one of the oldest shopping centers in the country's capital at the time of its launch in 1984. The complex was permanently closed in the aftermath of a fire-breakout in November 2012. It was founded and owned by the late Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, an influential royal, businessman, owner of Al Shoula Group and half-brother of the late King Fahd.

Jabal Abu Makhruq (Arabic: جبل أبو مخروق), or in Najdi vernacular pronunciation as Jabal Abo Makhrog and popularly known as Camel's Eye (Arabic: عين الجمل), is a conical limestone hill with a natural arch through it in the ad-Dhubbat neighborhood of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With an elevation of approximately 50 meters, it is so named for a 7 to 8 meters wide, almost oval hole through the top of the hill that was formed due to erosion. It was mentioned in Yaqut al-Hamawi's 13th century work Kitāb Mu'jam al-Buldān as Jabal Kharba (Arabic: جبل الخربة) and was once a stopover for caravans arriving from Eastern Arabia en route to the walled town of Riyadh. The hill was once infamous among locals to be purportedly haunted by Jinns and demons.

Prince Sultan Military Medical City (PSMMC) also known as Riyadh Armed Forces Hospital is located in Riyadh City, the capital of Saudi Arabia, considered one of the most advanced centres in the Middle East. It is located in the heart of Riyadh. At a distance of approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the city centre and easily accessible to the general population. PSMMC is part of the Medical Services Department (MSD) of the Ministry of Defense (MOD).
