Four Domes Pavilion

Iglica (Polish: [iɡˈlʲit͡sa]; "spire" or "needle") is a needle-like monument in Wrocław, Poland. It was built in 1948 and was 106 metres tall. Today, after renovation, the top ten metres have been removed and it is now 90 metres tall.

The Centennial Hall (Polish: Hala Stulecia, [ˈxala stuˈlɛtɕa], German: Jahrhunderthalle [jaːɐ̯ˈhʊndɐthalə]), formerly named Hala Ludowa ("People's Hall"), is a historic building in Wrocław, Poland. It was constructed according to the plans of architect Max Berg in 1911–1913, when the city was part of the German Empire. Max Berg designed Centennial Hall to serve as a multifunctional structure to host "exhibitions, concerts, theatrical and opera performances, and sporting events". The hall continues to be used for sporting events, business summits, and concerts.As an early landmark of reinforced concrete architecture, the building became one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii), as designated 20 April 2005, together with the Four Domes Pavilion, the Pergola, and the Iglica. Its listing is maintained by the National Heritage Board of Poland. It was also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.

The Wrocław Exhibition Grounds (Polish: Tereny Wystawowe we Wrocławiu) are located in the eastern part of Wrocław, Poland, close to the city's zoological garden. Its construction works took place in 1911–1913, following the project of Max Berg and Hans Poelzig.

The Wrocław Fountain — Wrocław Multimedia Fountain, — Polish: Wrocławska Fontanna, is a multimedia musical fountain and ornamental pond in Wrocław, of western Poland. The fountain runs only during the summer season - from the last weekend of April or the first weekend of May to late October.

The Wrocław Africarium (Polish: Afrykarium) is the only themed oceanarium devoted solely to exhibiting the fauna of Africa. Located in Wrocław, Poland, the Afrykarium is part of the Wrocław Zoo. The idea behind the Afrykarium is to comprehensively present selected ecosystems from the continent of Africa. The Africarium houses multiple species of fish, the hippos, African fur seals, manatees and many others. The zoo houses over 10 thousand animals, its breadth extends from housing insects such cockroaches to the large mammals like the elephants on an area of over 33 hectares.

Wrocław's Japanese Garden was founded in the years 1909–1913 as an exotic garden for the Centennial Exhibition. It is located in the Śródmieście district of Wrocław, in the boundaries of Szczytnicki Park, near the Centennial Hall. It is home to almost 270 taxa of woody plants, as well as 78 species of Asian plants, of which 38 are endemic to Japan, such as Styrax japonicus. It is an important landmark of Wrocław.

The Wrocław Zoological Garden, known simply as the Wrocław Zoo (Polish: Ogród Zoologiczny we Wrocławiu), is a zoo on Wróblewskiego Street in Wrocław, Poland. It is the oldest zoo in Poland, having been opened in 1865 as the Breslau Zoological Garden while the city was part of Prussia. It is also the largest (in terms of the number of animals) zoo in Poland. The zoo covers 33 hectares (82 acres) in downtown Wrocław. It is home to about 10,500 animals representing about 1,132 species. In terms of the number of animal species it is the third largest zoological garden in the world.The Wrocław Zoo is the most visited zoo in Poland and the fifth most visited zoo in Europe.The zoo is an accredited member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).

The 2nd High School in Wrocław (Polish: II Liceum Ogólnokształcące we Wrocławiu, or II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Piastów Śląskich we Wrocławiu) is a public high school in Wrocław, Poland. The school is named after Silesian Piasts and is part of the 22nd Secondary School Complex, located at Parkowa 18–26 Street. The school was built in 1929, on the former site of "Mary Magdalene's Gymnasium".Shortly after World War II the building was destined as middle school and secondary school, and soon – after education reform – merged into a secondary school. After many years of operating it earned, thanks to inter alia hard work of long-term mentor to the School's Sports Circle and P.E. teacher, Adam Dotzauer, a reputation of a sport's school, and later on a title of the School of Sport's Mastery (Szkoła mistrzostwa sportowego).

Zwierzyniecki Bridge is located in the eastern part of Wrocław, Poland. The bridge spans the Oder River and is in the immediate vicinity of Wrocław Zoo and the exhibition grounds about Centennial Hall. The bridge was built around 1655 and was originally wooden.Between 1895 and 1897, Karl Klimm designed a new bridge under the supervision of the city architect, Richard Plüddemann and with the help of engineer A. Fruhwirth. The new truss bridge is a single-span steel structure, supported by granite abutments and consists of two parallel-braced rib steel arches placed 12.5 metres apart. The characteristic features of the bridge are four decorative Art Nouveau obelisks made of red sandstone. The bridge is also illuminated at night by bespoke period street lamps. During the siege of Festung Breslau in 1945, German soldiers, who wanted to prevent an expected attack from the east of the city, prepared to blow the bridge up by planting explosives. The Red Army troops, however, launched an assault from the South, saving Zwierzyniecki bridge from being destroyed A marina (Przystań Zwierzyniecka), from which tourist excursion boats launch, is located only a stone's throw from Zwierzyniecki bridge and Wroclaw Zoo.

Śródmieście [ɕrudˈmjeɕt͡ɕe] (meaning "city centre") is one of the five administrative boroughs (dzielnicas) of Wrocław, Poland. Its functions were largely taken over on 8 March 1990 by the Municipal Office of the newly established Wrocław Municipality. The name, though, remained in use, mainly for statistical and administrative purposes.The Nadodrze, Ołbin, Zacisze, Zalesie, Sępolno, Dąbie, Biskupin and Bartoszowice osiedles are part of Śródmieście. The other boroughs are Fabryczna, Stare Miasto, Krzyki and Psie Pole.

Wrocław Medical University (Polish: Uniwersytet Medyczny we Wrocławiu, Latin: Universitas Medicus Vratislaviensis) is an institution of higher medical education in Wrocław, Poland. It consists of five faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Public Health and Postgraduate Education. The total number of chairs and clinics is 107. Altogether, 891 academic professors and teachers work at the Medical University and about 3,500 students study there. Wrocław Medical University has 22 international agreements of cooperation signed with other universities abroad. There is a wide exchange of students and teaching staff within the framework of the Socrates and Erasmus programmes of the European Union, especially with France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands and England.

Szczytnicki Park in Wrocław, Poland is located to the east of Plac Grunwaldzki and the old Oder river, and covers approximately 10 square kilometres of land. The park, besides offering many sightseeing attractions, also has many dendrological rarities. The land under the park was first mentioned in writing in 1204, when Henryk I the Bearded donated the village Stitnic to the monastery of St. Vincent, where shields were produced for the duke's forces. The village was also inhabited by fishermen and farmers. In 1318, the monks sold the village to the city council, becoming the first estate outside the city walls, called Szczytniki. The forest in Szczytniki was already popular among the inhabitants of Wrocław in the 18th century. In 1783, Frederick Louis, Prince of Hohenlohe-Ingelfingen bought the terrain and established one of the first parks on the European continent in the English style. The park was ruined, however, by French soldiers during a siege of the city. The park hosts a Japanese Garden (Wrocław), prepared for the World's Fair of 1913, restored by a Japanese foundation, partially destroyed by the 1997 flood and reconstructed. There is also a wooden church from the turn of the 17th century, originally in Stare Koźle.
