Xili, (Chinese: 西丽), an area of Nanshan District, Shenzhen, South China, covers an area of 46.93 square kilometres (505,200,000 sq ft), with the population of 210,000 or more, including household population of 19,323. It has eight communities - Dakan, Makan, Baimang, Lihu, Xinwei, Xili, Shuguang and Songping Shan. The bordering areas are Taoyuan (Grand Sand River as the boundary), Yuehai (Beihuan Expressway as the boundary) and Nantou (Unicorn Road as the boundary) communities and Bao'an District. Tang Lang New Village (Chinese: 塘朗新村; pinyin: Tánglǎngxīncūn; Jyutping: tong4 long5 san1 cyun1), is also found in Xili. University Town of Shenzhen, apartments for migrant workers and the Xili People's Hospital are located in the area.

Nantou Ancient City station (simplified Chinese: 南头古城; traditional Chinese: 南頭古城; pinyin: Nántóu Gǔchéng; Jyutping: Namm4 Tau4 Gu2 Sing4) is a metro station on Line 12 of Shenzhen Metro. It opened on November 28, 2022.

Nantou (Chinese: 南头) is a historical monument in Shenzhen, China. It was the former administrative centre of Xin'an County. It was formerly a walled city facing Qianhai Bay. The city was on the sea route in South China and was regarded as the gatekeeper of the Pearl River and Guangzhou. The walled city is also known as Nantoucheng (南头城), "walled city of Nantou". The inhabitants of Nantou extended south along Taishanwan to Chenwuwei (陈屋围), including Guankou (关口) and Shiqiaotou (石桥头).

Taoyuan station (simplified Chinese: 桃园站; traditional Chinese: 桃園站; pinyin: Táoyuán Zhàn; Jyutping: Tou4 Jyun4 Zaam6), is an interchange station for Line 1 and Line 12 of Shenzhen Metro in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Line 1 platforms opened on 15 June 2011 and Line 12 platforms opened on 28 November 2022.

Zhongshan Park station (simplified Chinese: 中山公园; traditional Chinese: 中山公園; pinyin: Zhōngshān Gōngyuán; Jyutping: Zung1 Saan1 Gung1 Jyun4) is a metro station on Line 12 of Shenzhen Metro. It opened on November 28, 2022.

Zhongshan Park (Chinese: 中山公园) is a public urban park in Nanshan, Shenzhen, China. Built in 1925 and subsequently named after Sun Yat-Sen (also known as Sūn Zhōngshān), the first president of the Republic of China, it is the oldest surviving park in Shenzhen.A section of the northern city walls of Nantou dating back to 1394, are preserved within the park. The park was renovated and reopened to the public in 1999. It also features a carving of Sun Yat-Sen, the largest of its kind in the country.

Liyumen station (simplified Chinese: 鲤鱼门站; traditional Chinese: 鯉魚門站; pinyin: Lǐyúmén Zhàn; Jyutping: Lei5 Jyu4 Mun4 Zaan6) is a station on Line 1 of the Shenzhen Metro in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The station opened on 15 June 2011. Shenzhen West railway station is located approximately 200 metres (660 ft) south of this station, providing long-distance conventional rail connections.

Hanking Center is a skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It is 358.9 metres (1,177.5 ft) tall. Construction started in 2013 and was completed in 2018.

International School of Nanshan Shenzhen (ISNS; Chinese: 深圳南山国际学校), formerly the International School of Sino-Canada, is a part of the Taoyuan Sub-District (桃源街道), Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China.It is accredited by the New Brunswick Department of Education in Canada. The school provides students with a Canadian curriculum that is internationally recognized. ISNS is the first IB World School in Shenzhen, China, to be authorized in the International Baccalaureate (IB) for the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. ISNS was founded in 2002 through the cooperation of the Government of Canada, the Province of New Brunswick and Dr. Francis Pang to fulfil a local need for international education. As of 2018, it is one of eight schools in Shenzhen designated for children of foreign workers. The school guarantees a low students teacher ratio, no greater than 25 students in kindergarten to grade 12. Every classroom is equipped with a SmartBoard and has access to class sets of MacBooks and iPads. The campus includes a large gymnasium, full outdoor track and field, playground, table-tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts.

Qianhaiwan station (simplified Chinese: 前海湾站; traditional Chinese: 前海灣站; pinyin: Qiánháiwān Zhàn; Jyutping: Cin4 Hoi2 Waan1 Zaam6) is a station on the Line 1, Line 5 and Line 11 of the Shenzhen Metro in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Line 1 platforms opened on 15 June 2011, Line 5 platforms opened on 22 June 2011, and Line 11 platforms opened on 28 June 2016. Qianhaiwan Station is located under Chenwen Road in Shenzhen's Nanshan District.

Shenzhen University (SZU, Chinese: 深圳大学) is a municipal public research university in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The university is funded by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. SZU ranked 10th in the world for Nature Index 2021 Young Universities (Leading 150 Young Universities) and 38th in China for Nature Index 2022.
