Monte Sant'Angelo railway station
Railway stations in Naples
Monte Sant'Angelo railway station is a railway station in Naples located between the districts of Soccavo and Fuorigrotta. It is served by the Line 7 railway line, managed by EAV. It takes its name from the Monte Sant'Angelo hill, where the University of Naples Federico II complex of the same name is located. The station was designed by Indian-born architect Anish Kapoor and serves both university students and the Rione Traiano neighborhood, where it has a dedicated exit. It will be accessible via a new railway link (under construction) connecting the Cumana and Circumflegrea railways, creating a fully urban railway line, Line 7.
